This is the Dennys, and I have to say they make an excellent burger! Reasonably priced and delicious.

Not having any knowledge of Baltimore beyond the airport I enlisted a friend who is a native of Baltimore to help me out. Upon researching the list of caterers she gave me, G & G's stood out. I contacted Lana and explained what we were doing and how we wanted it executed. After speaking with her I felt confident that G & G's was up to the job. The lunch deliveries took place on Tuesday of this week. One of the first clients I heard from afterward was our client in Baltimore. She told me the staff really enjoyed their lunches and that the food was fantastic. There were some people with dietary restrictions and Lana made sure that their lunches were every bit as delicious as the others. Being a bit of a control freak, hiring an out of town caterer sight unseen was a big leap of faith for me. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of our event and I won't hesitate to hire G & G's again when we do this again next year.

In we go, and there is indeed a pizza/sub/pasta store there in the same building, just to the left as you enter the door. On the counter, there is a list of daily specials (M-F). My friend recommended the Honey Old Bay wings. 8/$9.99, of course I missed the special day! They came out nice and hot, dripping with that honey gooey goodness, and there were 9! The aroma filled my world. Hubby got the standby: Italian cold cub sub, no hots. It was a wet sub from Italian dressing, which was perfect for him. The bread was fresh, probably made in-house. His sub came with a generous amount of French fries. They were the coated ones, and they gave plenty of ketchup packets. Also included was a 20-oz bottled drink. This was the Monday special. A young lady came in and picked up her large cheese pizza while we were waiting for our order. I asked her how the pizzas were, and she said they make really good pizzas here. We are not much in favor of eating in the car or carryout to eat at home, so we opted to eat in the mini-indoor courtyard at Yia Yia's. It was nice. If you have room, loads of desserts a few steps away. And yes, well, be back.

They tasted very off. I'm not sure what happened but I think they tried covering up another flavor as they were either competing flavors or a chemical type flavor hidden by buffalo sauce.

Geresbeck's has the best sales in town when it comes to seafood. The shrimp is always cheap & they steam on site. On a recent visit while waiting for my shrimp to be steamed, I took a walk around the market to see what else I could buy. Geresbeck's has a great speciality ice cream section. They had my favorite Taharka Brother's honey graham ice cream and some other tasty choices. I ended up in the bakery department and saw SO MANY delicious looking baked goods from a peanut butter Boston crème cake to banana pudding parfaits to mini cheesecakes. Their doughnuts are huge and made with the love of someone that loves to bake. I took quite a bit of photos showcasing their selections. As I walked through the store, I started to get a little hungry for a snack. I came back around to the deli/hot foods department and saw a mountain of tasty looking western fries. Now, western fries are extremely popular in Baltimore and the surrounding counties. I've had my share of western fries from the center of the city, to Brass Hen in Eastpoint mall, to even Royal Farms. All were delicious, BUT THESE FRIES WERE ABSOLUTE LOVE AT FIRST BITE!!! They were crunchy like a piece of fried chicken and tender inside like a fluffy baked potato. Omg, I can taste them right now. They were so, so amazingly yummy. If you love potatoes, or any variation of fries, you'd LOVE these. I actually may go back very soon for a fix. I didn't need salt, pepper, ketchup, NOTHING. Now, for my only gripe about Geresbeck's is that I wouldn't necessarily buy goods outside of the seafood, bakery or specialty items. I found that other items in the store, unless on sale, are higher priced than other grocery stores. But they have to counterbalance that with the affordable seafood prices, right? Anyways, if you're in the area, stop by and pick you up some delicious doughnuts and western fries while you're there. Geresbeck's is a piece of nostalgia that will make you feel like you were back in a time when everything was simpler and easy. They will always be solid with me.

I've had a lot of Reubens, and I have to say it was absolutely a top contender with great texture and flavor. The corned beef was sliced thin and was super tender and not too salty, the rye bread was toasted nicely, and the proportions of all ingredients made for a perfect flavor balance. That they were able to pull this off in a festival tent is remarkable. So kudos to them. The other food that was coming out also looked good. If I'm ever out in Dundalk I'll definitely be stopping by for another delicious Deli-ish Reuben.

So today I had a company luncheon and saw Deli-ish on the CaterNation sight. I looked over the menu and saw that they weren't too expensive, pretty much reasonable. Knowing I had Faculty with dietary needs, I reached out to a CaterNation agent if this vendor could alter any sandwich for a person who's gluten free and to my surprised they replied by saying the vendor could accommodate. A total WIN!! I placed my order for an arrival time of 1130 today ( 9/24/25), to my shocker they delivered the food 15 minutes earlier. Something I'm definitely not mad at. The delivery was helpful and very punctual. Another Win!! The lunch boxes were in a brown box (nothing special). On the inside they had the sandwich/wrap, a bag of kettle chips, and a little serving of coleslaw, with Mike's mustard and mayonnaise packets. The sandwich was HEFTY (in a good way) I ordered a roast beef and another coworker ordered a tuna wrap, which was also HEFTY. They were so hefty I couldn't finish it, I wrapped the remaining up for later. The roast beef was well done (I prefer medium), but I understand why it was well done, but it was still good. My coworker said her tuna was delicious and sweet. She said it tasted like they put sweet onions in the wrap and dill in the tuna salad. The kettle chips were good as always and cole slaw was okay not bland, but not sweet either. Again another win! Final verdict, I'll be ordering from them again!!
