She was very friendly with everyone else around us seeming to know exactly what they were drinking and happy to get it for them. We were tempted to lick the sauce off the plate. We refrained so we didn't get strange looks. I had the Kimchi Reuben which is made with house made kimchi I might add. We were fortunate to have the place to ourselves at the time we went and the owner/chef, Jeff, was a great host with many personal stories about the history of Utica and his personal colorful past. We had his stuffed French toast which was awesome and some eggs. The coffee and tea are self serve and there are seats at the counter and a couple tables. The place only seats around 16 people but he assured us that he occasionally gets many more in there at a time. If you're looking for a great breakfast or lunch during the week (its closed on weekends) and don't need any frills, this is the place to go. We'll definitely be back!

Barmaid was fabulous,friendly and patient..... I ordered a fish fry and couldn't believe how much it looked exactly like the picture in someone else's review. Overall nice place. I will go back for a burger very soon! I heard they are the best!
