    Poutine
    Glenn G.

Waiting to catch our last flight back from our trip, we walked a really, really long way to get to this end of the terminal and this was the only real dining option. You can order for takeout at the register or sit and get table service, which we did. It was relatively quiet when we arrived but filled up afterwards, stretching the two servers working that day. I ordered a chicken schnitzel sandwich with tater tots but the waitress brought fries -- oh well. This was my wife's last chance to get poutine in Canada so she ordered that. It was a disappointment, with the gravy not even hot enough to melt the cheese curds. If there were other options nearby, we would've probably opted for those.

    Just my receipt.

Located in the airport and at the very last gates and only sit down option at gates in the 90s. Breakfast was limited to 10 options but they were open to making changes which I did along with others that were sitting at the bar. I had the yogurt and fruit and added juice and coffee. It was good for airport food.

Poutine baby! I had an hour to burn before my flight and I took the walk out to my gate and saw the Burger Federation. I stopped and I am glad I did. I had to order the poutine! But then I also tried the early riser burger which was a bacon cheeseburger topped with a freshly fried egg. Both items were delicious! They also have a full bar including a handful of craft draft beers and some wines to choose from. My waiter was awesome and took great care of me.

If you're ever in Terminal 1, F gates, this is a decent brunch spot. What we ordered: - 2x the Federation Breakfast (your classic English breakfast - 2 eggs, slices of toast, tater tots, and your choice of sausage or bacon. - Iced tea lemonade to share The tater tots really hit the spot. A little overpriced in my opinion, our bill came to $58 after tax and tip. Our server was just the nicest guy ever, honestly appreciated his enthusiasm at 3am in the morning. It was not busy at all when we went, and there was plenty of seating great for 1-4 people. Decent among of outlets if you need to charge your laptop and space for luggage as you'd expect an an airport restaurant. 20250512

I ordered the Swiss burger. The burger bun and beef patty were mid. The bun was dry, and the patty didn't really have a flavor. The mushrooms were actually pretty good and flavorful though! In short, I think the burger is what one would expect of airport food. Not the best, but I don't regret getting it. Service was quick. I got the burger for takeout, and my order was ready in 10 minutes.

For food in the airport, I'm not too surprised at the cost. I ordered the Federation Breakfast, which came with 2 eggs (any way), bacon or sausage, Parmesan tater tots and 2 slices of toast. No issues with the food, but I would have asked for bacon to be fried a bit longer, but that's on me. The service was excellent as well as fast, which was appreciated since I had to catch my flight.

If you have an early flight to the US from Pearson International Airport, there are only a few restaurants open. Unfortunately my flight was before the airport lounges open, so there was either this place or Starbucks. You can either order to go or sit down and order from the menu. I opted for the latter. I ordered the breakfast burger, which contains a sausage patty, egg, cheddar cheese, tomato, spicy mayo, with a side of parmesan tater tots. The food was surprisingly very good. I thought the parmesan tater tots were perfectly cooked, crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. It went well with the bottle of ketchup at each table. The breakfast burger was also quite good. The sausage patty was juicy and the eggs were juicy. It was a perfect way to start the day.

Overall, unexpectedly really good. Came with basically empty stomachs to the airport and decided to grab some food before our flight (still had 2h before flight take off) We grabbed a drink and they told us to sit down and they will take our order and we can view a menu at the table. I got a chicken Caesar salad, and my husband got boneless chicken wings and a side of tater tots. We got one gold peak tea to share between the two of us. Everything was delicious and the servers were really nice and patient.

Decent sandwich. Good amount of protein. Personally would have to an English muffin as this bun started falling apart midway. The spicy mayo was good. A lot of tater tots, so great portion for a starving person. Service was quick as it wasn't busy.

Two stars solely for the great service. The burgers tasted like frozen preformed and pressed patties. Absolutely disgusting. I rarely give a bad review but come on guys. Really? Ambiance is what you would expect in an airport lounge. Next time I'll just pass on the burger.

For airport food, this burger was place is pretty good. We were stuck at the airport and needed dinner so decided to try this place near our gate. The burgers was freshly made, toppings were fresh and complimented the beef well and the bun was soft yet holds up against all the meat and filling. The tater tots were deliciously deep fried, crispy exterior and soft interiors. Dusted with Parmesan cheese and parsley I think? Price: It's expensive airport food which is not surprising. The quality is pretty good for what I paid for so it's actually pretty good.

Great Quick Meal just before my Flight!!! I had a flight out of Pearson airport. In this terminal there just weren't that many choices. I decided on a burger since my flight was boarding soon. I sat down, my server came over fairly quickly, and I ordered my magnificent burger with Cheese, an Egg and Sweet Potatoe fries. My burger came out fairly quickly, It was very well made and very good. The Fries were piping hot and I washed it down with a cooler. If I ever have to fly out of that gate again, this will be where I eat.

The place itself is pretty simple, more of a casual spot. Not super aesthetic or anything, but it's clean and works for a quick meal. It was busy when I went, so clearly a popular spot. We got a few things: the Oklahoma Fried double smash, the classic double, and the truffle mushroom Swiss double. The burgers were good, like no complaints, but I'll be honest they were kinda mid compared to the hype. The patties were cooked well and everything tasted fresh, but nothing really stood out or made me think wow I need this again. The onion rings were sooo good though. Easily the best part of the meal. Super crispy, not greasy, and just done perfectly. I'd go back just for those. It is a bit pricey though. The burgers are like $14-$18, and once you add sides it adds up pretty fast. For what you get, it does feel a little expensive. Service was good, everything came out pretty quick which I liked. Overall, it's a decent spot and worth trying once, but it didn't fully live up to the hype for me. I'd probably rate it around a 7/10, mainly carried by the onion rings lol.

It had their own version of the Big Mac sauce which gave a hint of tanginess and sharpness to the burger. Their fries were also really good. Matcha Latte (5/5) was earthy with a subtle sweetness. It was enjoyable. The service could be improved moving forward. There were only three tables at the time, including ours, but it felt like the server wasn't as attentive as we'd hope she would be. We had to remind them about our drink halfway through our meal. The cup also had a coffee stain which we had to rub off with a napkin as we found it quite unpleasant. The washroom could also use some regular cleaning throughout the day. Overall, the food was delicious but I decided to deduct a point for the lack of attentiveness and cleanliness of the washroom.

We ordered the family meal which allows you to choose any 4 burgers (beef patty or chicken sandwiches), 4 fountain drinks and 2 family sized fries. My 7- and 9-yo ordered the Classic Burger that was topped with real cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and choice of condiments. My husband had the Canuck which came with mushrooms, swiss cheese, maple bacon jam and GC truffle aioli. You can really taste the truffle and maple bacon jam on this burger. I had the spicy chicken sandwich loaded with pickles, jalapenos and GC spiced aioli. We also had cajun fries (I felt that there was too much seasoning) and regular hand cut fries. DONE! Food did take some time, so keep that in mind. I think I waited ~10mins after ordering. Both burger and fries were in open containers in the brown paperbag. For the fries, I'm guessing so it's that they don't get soggy. Well, they did anyway within the 5-10mins before I was able to eat them. Not sure why the box that the burger was in was left open. Luckily, they use a wax-lined box because that thing was saucy! Great vessel to eat over as your hands will get dirty. Burger patty was a good size and it was JUICY. Bros burger had grilled onions and a creamy-orangey coloured sauce that had a bit of a kick to it! It was good and you can actually taste the meat flavour.
