    Bacon Double Cheeseburger

Burger Priest always delivers in terms of consistency and quality. While prices are on the higher side, you do get a quality burger for it! Service is excellent, and they even threw in some free cookies with my order. I had the double cheeseburger & also tried the Priest! The double cheeseburger was perfectly cooked and garnished. The Priest is an experience with the Option inside it, and the stuffed portobello mushroom does make it on the heavier side.

Decent burger joint. It's like shake shack. I wouldn't say it's anything special or different maybe the fact they have beyond burger and portobello mushroom. Otherwise this place is middle of the line burgers. Overall good experience.

This has become our go to place for burgers. The way they press the burgers and cook it on the flat top creates a crust that makes it one of the best burgers. The quality is good and consistent at this location. On various occasions we have ordered the following: High Priest: This a gourmet version of the Big Mac. Priest: The burger with the "Option". Fiery Furnace: The hot peppers are not spicy. Red Sea: A chili cheese burger. Bacon Double Cheeseburger: A basic bacon cheeseburger with two patties.

The burger patties were quite good even if they were smaller than I expected for the price plus I was a little thrown off by the cold bun. The fries too were tasty but the gravy left a lot to be desired. For the cost I was expecting more though had this been $20 for 2 people it would have been a 4 rating. I must add that the Riggs and Murtaugh milkshake was pretty awesome as well. The restaurant itself is quite small and the floors needed a good cleaning. I hate that shoe sticking to the floor sound.

Undercooked hamburger at The Burger's Priest

I purchased my usual hamburger at The Burger's Priest Queensway location on Saturday, August 13. Got it home and to my surprise it was seriously undercooked! Raw inside actually. Imagine my disappointment. I reached out to the company via the app and sent a photo of the undercooked burger. No response! Since then I've attempted to contact them 3 more times with the last time via their form on the website. Nothing. I've reached out via Instagram and Facebook. Crickets! Does anyone work in the customer service department at The Burger's Priest? We have been regular customers but this has really soured our experience. Looking for a new burger place!

I had lunch today at the Burger's Priest. I'd never had one of their burgers before but had heard they were good so thought I'd check it out. I got there just about noon. I ordered a High Priest burger (minus the cheese, lettuce and onions) and a Diet Coke. The fella taking my order asked if I wanted to make it a combo (so add fries) and I said okay. It came to about $16 including tax. Whether you eat in or take it out, your meal comes in a bag. The patties were good ... tasty and juicy. But the bun didn't stand up and it all ended up kind of soggy and mushy, especially the middle bun. I'm not a fan of big buns but I think they should make the bun a bit more substantial. The fries were good, though I only had a few. When I ordered my burger, I hadn't planned on getting fries. Once I got added the fries, I should have downsized my burger to a single patty. There were a lot of fries so here's a tip ... if you go with someone, just get one order as it will be more than enough. I'm glad I got a chance to see what all the fuss was about but I don't think I'll be rushing back.

I had never heard of this place till about 2 months ago. I was clueless. My friend brought me here, telling me these burger are awesome. I was a little doubtful as he doesn't have the taste in food.... Well boy was I wrong! These are awesome!!! I order 3 of the blue steel (blue cheese, no bacon) and they were killer. Only sad part (and the reason I ordered 3) is the burgers are small. Not to worry still packed full of juicy meatiness!!!! My husband ordered The Vatican City (Double cheeseburger sandwiched between two grilled cheese buns) and yes it is just as good as it sounds; I snagged a bite. The fries aren't bad, but note if you are in the Lakeshore area the priest is across the street from Smokey poutine ( Make an awesome combo yourself, I did). Yes these burgers are pricey but they are worth it, 100% I just wish they were bigger.. oh well.. I can keep hoping.

It's a genuine smashed burger. My first bite of the meat that went outside the bun had me worried that it was overcooked, but it ultimately was just that piece as the rest of it was good and what you'd want from a smash burger. I got a double - which I'd recommend since the patties are on the somewhat smaller side, and really loved the burger. The fries were surprisingly average to my taste. Cut similar to McDonald's, but I didn't find they had much taste and were quite oversalted. Actually, they were very oversalted. I imagine that was a mistake on whoever was doing fries and otherwise they would be average but passible fries. But someone preferring thin cut may feel otherwise. My wife really enjoyed her strawberry milkshake. It doesn't look like it's from ice cream, but rather a cream base that they put in a frother for quite a bit of time. That also held up the order since there others had ordered shakes too, but ultimately it was a very good shake and can't hold that against them. It definitely came out nice and light.

This place is old Etobicoke architecture, in stark contrast to the shiny new condos, Scotiabank, and Farm Boy across the street. But I'd be lying if I said I don't have a soft spot in my heart for classic Toronto buildings, so in I went. The decor is funky retro dinerish. From seeing the ATM as the first thing before the counter started, and the fact the guy before me paid in cash, I intuited that this might be cash only, although I didn't confirm that since I actually had some of the folding stuff on me. A cheeseburger, small chocolate shake and French fries set me back $17.05. Not cheap, but not too much more than other fast food in Toronto. From what I saw from the other orders in front of mine, they have a wide menu selection including grilled chicken, steak, and veggie burgers. Also, the bacon they were adding to other sandwiches looked tasty too! The cashier was pleasant and the sandwich assembly line was efficient, and soon I was sitting down with my meal. The place was constantly busy while I was there. The fries were really good. Crisp but fluffy, not greasy, and unsalted, because as an adult, I could pick up one of the provided salt shakers and choose where I wanted my blood pressure set as opposed to the chef deciding for me. I actually didn't add anything because they were so good plain. The burger looked like someone had used ground beef and not a liquid slurry. It was passable, a very clean flavor. It sounds hypocritical to say I would have liked a bit more salt in the burger, but, well, guilty. But I appreciated the homemade feeling of the texture, a nice chew without being rubbery. And the bun was nicely toasted too. The shake came from a shake machine, and tasted exactly like that. Nice and thick, nothing special, but it hit the spot.. It's not a destination location by any means, but if you're in the area and looking for a burger, this is a fine choice.

The Food The meal itself was a bit of a mixed bag, especially considering the price point. The fries look and taste exactly like McDonald's fries--which isn't necessarily a bad thing if you love fast-food fries, but it feels overpriced for a sit-down or specialty burger joint. The burger itself hits very close to a classic Quarter Pounder with Cheese, though it does feature a subtle, nice flame-broiled flavor that elevates it slightly. The real standout on the sweet side, however, was the doughnuts. They are absolutely great and well worth trying. Service & Vibe On the plus side, the staff here is incredibly nice and welcoming. Service was prompt and friendly, which made the visit pleasant. Overall, it's a decent 3/5 experience. The food tastes fine, but because it mimics major fast-food chains so closely at a premium price tag, it's hard to see this place lasting much longer unless they tweak the value proposition.

The burgers were good, like no complaints, but I'll be honest they were kinda mid compared to the hype. The patties were cooked well and everything tasted fresh, but nothing really stood out or made me think wow I need this again. The onion rings were sooo good though. Easily the best part of the meal.
