Was easy to talk to my friends and hear the burgers being made. The blue cheese burger was honestly really good. A little too much/too strong of a blue cheese in some bites as it was a little uneven in the distribution of it. But the burger was a smash burger so it was nice and crispy on the entire patty. I do wish that the drained some of the grease as holding the burger it was dripping alot of grease/oil out of the burger for the first couple of bites. My sister and I were recently in Toronto staying at a hotel right near a location of The Burger's Priest and thought we'd give it a try as I was craving a burger. We really enjoyed our meals though the service could have been much faster. They have a variety of options on the menu from burgers, vegetarian burgers, chicken, hot dogs, fries, cookies, and drinks. While the burgers look large and filling, I chose the OG Cheeseburger while my sister got an OG Hamburger. Even those were filling! We also shared an order of fries while my sister got a drink. We were trying to use the app (unsuccessfully) to order in advance so we didn't have to wait in a line at the restaurant. Instead, we ordered in person and had to wait for quite some time, which seemed a lot longer than other burger restaurants I have been to with lines. The cashier and other staff were still kind and answered any questions we had. If you download The Burger's Priest app, you will not only score a free cheeseburger for signing up but also a milkshake for your birthday! It's been a while since I've been to burgers priest and we figured we'd try it again. Ordered online to eat in - food was a little delayed as it seemed decently busy on a weekday lunch. Food: Priest burger - the patty is a smash burger - fairly thin with a good sear on both sides to get that flavor in. The deep fried portobello with cheese is delicious though mine exploded even inside the wrapping so not as awesome as when you bite into it and it explodes. Toppings were fresh. 4.5/5 Chicken burger is a the dark horse I feel. I'm surprised every time I've gotten a chicken item here, just how delicious and juicy it is. The chicken burger has an amazing crunch on the outside but super moist inside. Toppings are fresh and everything holds up. 5/5. Double OG cheese burger - classic double patty smash burger with cheese in the middle. Can't go wrong with this. I do feel in the past the patties were bigger but it's still great. 4/5. Last time The Burger's Priest was before the brand was sold to new owners. Used to love it back in the day so I decided to check out this location to have them again since they open late night. It was quite disappointing. The patty was overly salted and it wasn't smashed and grilled enough so the patty didn't have the nice sear/char. Patty was quite thick for a smash burger but that didn't matter as much as the saltiness and lack of sear. You wouldn't think you were having a smash burger. As the franchise continues to spread across Canada here pops up another location for the convenience of us in the north east. I have been eating High Priestly burgers since they opened the location on Yonge St a few years ago. I won't go into detail about the menu and concept as you can find that at any of the other locations (and I posted a few pics). This specific location has a decent seating area and clean fresh layout, definitely well in line with the franchise look, though. The burgers are as good as I remember. I got the Vatican - which means there is a ton of grease. The flavour and quality of the ingredients was top notch and the preparation was quick despite a busy lunch rush. The fries were a bit disappointing - they're typically one of my favourite parts of visiting the priest. They were uneven in their frying and seasoning. Some were a bit undercooked or lacking salt. It's hard to say if that's a one off mistake or rookie at the fry station during the lunch rush. Milkshake was killer. It's not cheap and it's not huge so I'm glad it was as good as it is. Full flavour and rich and thick. Quality ingredients again. Overall I think its going to be dangerous to have this location so close to home! A couple quick notes: - parking lot is small - you may have to park on the street or across York Mills... next to the five guys ;P - it is near a bunch of offices so it is truly busy at lunch. read more

Been to Burger Priest a few times years ago but since then there's been many additional locations opened around GTA now. Wanted to be adventurous so tried the California Classic Burger which essentially is a single burger patty with lettuce, tomatoes, fried onions between a pair of butter buns. The patty was nicely seasoned and butter buns was very tasty but little greasy. At $7.99 for single patty burger and no sides seems pretty in line with some other gourmet burger joints around town. This doesn't have the same hype or super long lineups anymore but still a solid burger joint that I'd go back once in awhile. read more

This Burger Priest is located in a busy plaza. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and it was difficult to find parking. I ordered my food through Ritual and the restaurant was busy, so the order was five minutes late. This is fine, but there was no apologetic attitudes from the employees. I ordered the cheeseburger and poutine. The poutine was delicious and you got a decent amount. The cheeseburger was average and on the small side. The main thing is they messed up on my order - there was no lettuce and tomatoes like I had specified. Overall, the experience was average. read more

Ordered off UberEats a few days ago and I was slightly disappointed with the presentation of the food. I was actually super excited they opened a location closer to me because I loved it the first time I had Burger's Priest downtown. When we received our order, the burgers were squished and it looked like no effort was made into the making of the burgers itself. It was pretty much falling apart. I live fairly close to the location so time wasn't really the issue. The "fresh cut fries" looked like leftovers, soggy and small pieces. The portions are also a lot smaller than what is advertised on UberEats, so if you're hungry opt for a double patty or the burgers that look like you can't possibly fit into your mouth (ex. High Priest). When you get your burger, you'll understand why. I usually let my phone eat first but I was so hungry I couldn't take a photo this time. I hope the next time I order from here I can add more stars! read more

What's Right Combo - 5/5 Comes with Chili Cheese Fries, Double Cheeseburger, Cookie and Drink. Got it with smashed patties with Mustard, Onions and Special Sauce (referred to as "Jarge-Style" on the menu) Also got deep fried jalapeños on the burger (referred to as "Smoke" on the menu). Taste delicious. It's a pricey burger and a little small but tastes really good. Chili Cheese Fries - 4/5 Standard Chili Cheese Fries, was a bit salty though. Its just fries layered with chili and topped with shredded cheddar cheese. Priest Burger - 5/5 Amazing burger, one of the best on their menu. It's a cheese burger with a panko crusted portobello mushroom stuffed with cheese (referred to as "The Option" on the menu). Again it's a bit pricey and a little small but tastes awesome. 4.5 Stars for this hot burger spot! I love burgers, and LOVE Burger's Priest. I was ecstatic to see that one was opening here on York Mills, and waited with patience for the grand opening. Well, it did NOT disappoint! The burgers are amazing as ever, along with all the usual fixings. I've tried the Option and the regular cheeseburger at this location so far, and they've been consistent and as wonderful as other locations. I also have had good luck with the fries, one order can definitely satisfy 2 people. I don't think there's much 'new' I can rave about, but for this specific location, I can offer some tips. Lunch is SUPER BUSY! It's a mainly industrial area so weekdays lunch expect a line up. This isn't like McDonalds or other fast food - the food is made to order, so you should expect to wait a few more minutes. Seating inside is limited, but actually has more seating than other BP locations that I've been to. A few tables are right in the way of people standing around waiting for their orders, so not quite ideal. The parking lot is TERRIBLE! There's a Tim Horton's in this plaza too, so it's always busy with people coming in and out. Finally, I tried Skip the Dishes from this location and it was abysmal. Took 2 hours from order being placed to delivery, food was ice cold despite travelling only 10 mins, and it was generally disappointing. We were craving burgers so we decided to check out @theburgerspriest Don Mills and York Mills Location.. since we've heard good things about this place I made the drive so we can try it. $8 for a bacon cheeseburger.. . $10 for a cheeseburger with chilli .. . Not at all impressed with anything about this place. Bacon cheeseburger looked unappetizing.. No f***s given in presentation at all. Second, for $8, the size of the burger/bun does not justify the price at all. I dont have a big size hand but this burger isnt even the size of my palm. $33 for 2 burgers, fries and a milkshake.. .oh and if your a short person, good luck trying to get your tray on top of their 6 foot wall blocking your view to see them make your burgers.. I've been to 2 other locations. All the times i had to wait over 15 minutes for my burger and every location i have been to, i see tons of people just waiting for their burgers. The wait is quite painful. This location has a machine that presses the patties down and cooks all the patties into even uniform well done patties. at least 12 patties at a time.. takes like less than 2 minutes from the moment its raw to the moment its done. But for some reason it takes 15-20 minutes to get the burger dressed. The lady at the counter didnt even take my order for at least 3 minutes thinking im one of the 7 people waiting for the burger. There are tons of workers... so its not a staffing issue. not sure why it takes so long. the burger is okay in my opinion but nothing that crazy. i am still not sure what the hype is all about. I feel like i had way better home burgers at a bar. these patties are good and well seasoned but quite thin. I'll have to double up the patties next time. read more

I love the names of the menu items. Most of them are in some way Biblical in origin. The Daniel, their newer vegan burger, is because Daniel requested that he and his friends only be given fruits and vegetables to eat instead of the food the king provided for them (see Daniel 1 for the whole story). Project Mayhem, however, is not Biblical in name, nor was it mayhem. It's supposed to be a chili base with a poutine built on top. At about $8, it came in a small square cardboard takeout box and there was a small layer of chili on the bottom under what was very obviously a poutine, but it was pitiful. I had to scrape everything aside to find it. It's like someone took the chili from on top and just put it on the bottom, which actually made it more difficult to eat. The chili automatically started soaking in to the cardboard, which is nasty, now that I think about it. If it were truly mayhem, I would have needed so much chili that my poutine would basically be a garnish for my chili. What chili was there was tasty, but overall, the concept of the dish compared to the actuality of it made this a let down. read more

I love burgers priest. I had the worst possible encounter with this location. Not one person thier would give me thier names. I had to call the beaches location to get an actual manager, as the York mills manager who stated he was in charge would not give me his name. Super disappointed..... Had to throw away 30 plus dollars worth of food due to comments made by the staff. Called beaches had a great conversation with thier Manger. I didn't taste the quality beef their were saying about this burger it was just like regular hamburger. 2) The California burger taste good. Is not like a wow effect I have with this burger. Single Meat patty was good size. I think instead of sautéed onion and sub with crunchy onion would make this burger taste really good my opinion. Buns was soft and meat patty was soft it needed some crunch in between this burger. 3) Chili was like regular you can get at Tim Horton's but with little spice kick. Also, I find the chili a bit salty for my taste. 4) fries is homemade cut style I just wish the fries was a bit crunchy. My fries was soggy. It tasted good with gravy. You have to ask for ketchup. Stood in line for 20 minutes before being served, and there were only 3 groups in front of me. Absolutely terrible service!! The music is crazy loud that you cannot hear anything when trying to order and once you do order they are not friendly at all!! The wait was insane! 30 minutes and nowhere to site and wait. All I ordered was a burger and fries and it was 15$.
