The wrap was a bit too sweet; though you could tell it was made with good tasting ingredients. Unfortunately there wasn't much chicken. The Bowl had also fresh ingredients, but even with their salad dressing it was super dry, especially the quinoa. It also didn't have much chicken. Prices here are pretty high. It cost us $35 for two entree items and drinks. That's quite a bit for lunch.

Creamy coleslaw with bits of dried cranberries was so good I could've eaten that as a main. Potatoes were cooked in a curry sauce and was flavourful. My brother had the chicken plate which he got spicy and it really delivered. I loved that it was chopped and easy to eat, no knife necessary. The chicken was juicy. He got the salad (sweet balsamic) and hummus, all house made and you can really taste the difference. The hummus had a smoky taste and a nice smooth texture. It was supposed to be bacon alternative. They have both indoor and outdoor seatings. For outdoor seating, they have parasol for shade. The indoor seatings have mixtures of regular seats and high seats.

Nestled on a side-street off busy James St N as you travel up the mountain, you'll find Flora on the ground floor of a older residential-looking building. The first thing you'll notice walking inside is actually how small this place is - the pizza ovens and prep area take up most of the space. Happy to report that their pizza lives up to the hype! Pizza is baked in a sheet-pan with a semi-thick crust that's soft yet crispy at the edges. Crust is on the thicker side relative to some Italian restaurants and pizza chains, but the composition of the dough makes it work because it has a bite but not too tough/thick where it gives your mouth a workout. I also loved their fresh tomato sauce. It balanced so well with the cheese and toppings, giving the pizza a nice freshness so that it didn't feel as heavy. My only critique was that I wanted more basil on my pizza (I love me some basil!)
