As businesses open up post the Covid shut down, you never really know what to expect. But my visit this Memorial Day weekend showed that The Cafe picked up right where they left off with great food, attentive service and ambiance that shows they are taking this new reality seriously. It was raining so we were shown to a table indoors. The hostess and servers were masked as were we as we were shown to a table in the corner. Once seated I removed my mask but made sure I replaced it when I walked to the restroom. The tables were spaced so that there was no issue with being too close to other diners. Service was spot on with our server training a new person on this visit. The full menu was available so we ordered a range of things, the eggs Benedict, a salmon omelette and some scrambled eggs. All the dishes came up quickly and were perfectly prepared. I also had a Bloody Mary which tasted great as it was my first real drink poured by someone else post Covid! While they aren't taking reservations, it wasn't crowded so just check in with the hostess so get on the list to be seated. That may change a little further out. We went to this place for brunch and it was delicious! My 4 yr old loved the fruit, granola and yogurt bowl. The crescent rolls were flakey and melted in your mouth. I have Fish Tacos almost every time they are available at any restaurant I'm eating at, but the Mahi Tacos here are by far the best fish tacos I've ever had anywhere!!! They aren't heavy, just fresh and very light tasting. I just love them!!! I get the Caesar Salad on the side which is also very delicious!!! This is where I usually meet my friends for lunch. We were looking for a delicious, solid breakfast option that had a great variety of classic breakfast options but also healthier choices like bowls and oatmeal etc. The Café Crepes did not disappoint, they were perfect and such a great flavor balance. I visited this restaurant yesterday while on vacation. The location is nice because there are several shops around. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We were told there was a wait but there ended up being no wait. Our waiter was nice. He was not able to be as attentive as we would have liked but that may have been due to the restaurant being quite full. I ordered the spinach and feta quiche and it was good. I also ordered the liquid sunshine beverage which was not fabulous but was pretty good as well. I would recommend a visit to this cafe. read more

They have both inside and outside seating with outside seating being in the sidewalk. Tables are still spread out from each other. It's also nice place to people and car watch from. The menu is extensive and they have multiple healthy and unhealthy options. Service was also fast. They have homemade muffins that we asked to be grilled and it was delicious. I ordered the avocado smash without cheese and it was surprisingly more filling than I thought although I'm sure the muffin helped as well. We also ordered the salmon bowl which was very delicious but did have a lot of rice. Great place for a quick or long lunch/brunch in Naples before hitting the beach. read more

IMO, definitely among the top 3 places in Naples to have breakfast. All the food is beyond excellent & they have a juice bar which offers superb juices & smoothies to accompany meals. Some of my recommendations include: Burrata avocado egg & cheese Dr. Rawz green juice Pink pleasure juice Paleo breakfast salad - I ordered with poached eggs & side of hollandaise instead of fried eggs Mediterranean scrambler Caramel cappuccino Carrot cake Chocolate croissant Double cordatitos - this item isnt even on their menu but our amazing server, Tyler, offered to make it when I was asking if they carried it. I always appreciate a place that can accommodate requests/alterations that are reasonable & within their capacity. :) Ultimately, this is a place where the customer comes first & it shows. So as a result they appear to be building genuine relationships with clientele. The food was excellent!! My husband's scrambled eggs were made to perfection. Soft is the way he enjoys them and they were cooked right!! The pancakes were amazing as well!! Fully cooked matters when it comes to pancakes!! Delicious!!! I had the spinach wrap with cucumber, olives, roasted red peppers and chicken! Absolutely delicious!! Ice coffee was great! We were just visiting Naples for a few days and walked into the Cafe for a quick breakfast. It was awesome! Right from the get go it was special. A quaint and cute location right off 5th - we managed to snag an umbrellaed table outside on a beautiful sunny afternoon. The restaurant is right next door to a juice bar/healthy cafe, so their menu is pretty diverse - including fresh juices and detox drinks, bowls, and healthy options from next door, as well as typical lunch staples like salads, wraps, and sandwiches. Hubs and I shared a Marinated Protein Bowl and the Steak Wrap. The bowl was slices of grilled marinated flank steak, farro grains, marinated with shredded cabbage, mango, avocado, fresh basil & cilantro wit zesty tahini sauce. It had a somewhat asian-flavor to it, it was absolutely delicious! I had trouble passing this one over - the steak was cooked perfectly and the grains were wonderful! The steak wrap was sliced grilled steak, romaine, avocado, roasted red peppers, feta cheese and chipotle aioli. This was much more in-your-face flavors with the aioli and feta cheese. My husband gobbled much of this one down, because I couldn't stop eating my bowl. A bit heavy for the afternoon, but delicious nonetheless! I ordered an Arnold Palmer (delicious - for the record) and he got a glass of rose - we could have stayed here all afternoon lounging in our seats in the shade. Wonderful brunch spot in downtown Naples! We're visiting from out of town and had see this restaurant on Yelp. Came without a reservation on a Friday morning and was seated immediately. Great location offering free street parking and indoor and outdoor seating. Ordered the crabs Benedict, avocado toast, and mimosas. All the food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Portions weren't too large, which we absolutely appreciated. Mimosas tasted great, as if orange juice was fresh squeezed. We spent four and a half days in Naples, Florida. We had breakfast at The Care all four full days. We absolutely loved it. The food: The menu is quite extensive and includes options for folks who want to put healthy things in their gut, as well as not so healthy stuff. They also have a juice bar and bakery goods. I ordered The Works Oatmeal three of the four days. I'm a creature of habit! The dish consists of whole grain oats, walnuts, banana, raisins, and brown sugar. I ordered without brown sugar. I obviously loved it since I ordered it three days in a row. On days 2-3, I added mixed berries, which was worth the extra $3 as they did NOT skimp. On day one, my husband ordered the burrata-avocado with egg sandwich. People, it brought a tear to his eye. He loved it so much. This item came open faced and included: multigrain bread, poached eggs, avocado, prosciutto, burrata cheese, fresh raspberries, basil, and a drizzle of honey. Yeah....wipe the drool from your mouth, friend. It was incredible. All of those ingredients came together and played together as dolce as a flute/piccolo duet. The following day, my husband ordered the smoked salmon brunch bowl. From there, it was all over. He ordered that the rest of the week. This dish included smoked salmon, brown rice, sautéed spinach, sautéed mushrooms, oven roasted potatoes, a drizzle of lemon aioli, and a poached egg. I'm pretty sure his eyes rolled back in his head over this one. Again, the combination seemed methodically composed and all together made a wonderful dish. My last day I decided to try something different so I went with the Pittaya Bowl. I had to look up pittaya. It is an Asian super fruit. Who knew? It turns out this would be a cold dish - think of a very thick smoothie in a bowl. It consisted of organic pittaya, blended with strawberries, coconut manna, mango, and almond milk. It arrived topped with banana, honey, coconut flakes, and house made granola. I have a feeling it was not as healthy as I wanted it to be but it was certainly good. I have to admit eating what sort of equated to sorbet topped with yummy granola seemed a tad odd for breakfast but I went for it. It was refreshing, not overly sweet, and had great textures to keep me entertained. In all honesty, I still don't know what pittaya tastes like since there were so many other things blended in the dish. I sort of wish I could have experience pittaya alone just to know. All told, it was a lovely treat, though not something I would order again. (did someone say oatmeal?) Finally, we ordered one of the oatmeal cookies (shocker) to go. It was huge and DELICIOUS. We loved the heartiness of it. It had dried cranberries and raisins, and was a nice stick to your ribs snack late in the day. There was plenty to share! Service: No complaints here. We were seated inside without wait each time - this surprised me as each and every time we were there, the place was hoppin'. They know what they are doing. Our servers were very knowledgeable about the menu and juice options. We ordered coffee each day and the large cups did not get too empty. We did find it interesting that we were not served coffee immediately....meaning, there was not a pot ready to go. I don't think they made large batches to sit around but instead, smaller batches that helped with freshness. Just a thought....it was quite good. If in the Naples, Florida area, I encourage you to stop into The Cafe. They serve breakfast all day and you won't be sorry. Yes, they have sandwiches for lunch....but we loved the breakfast so much (again, the "creature of habit" thing) we stuck with that. Enjoy! read more

My wife and I went for a late breakfast while on vacation in Florida with a couple of friends. We had a great breakfast and managed to finish things off with a great drink from the juice bar. I have the special of the day - blackened shrimp eggs Benedict. It was fantastic! Could have had a larger portion of home fries. Great flavor and well prepared. My wife had a flat bread Italian sandwich with a side Caesar salad which was very authentic and very good. Third-place team one of our friends had a chorizo omelette what she said was great. The service was excellent. Our waiter was very friendly very helpful and very informative. And the coffee was outstanding as well! A very relaxing morning having breakfast outside. Coffee is great (free refills). Staff are courteous. Food is tasty, clean & well presented. The menu has something for everyone from eggs Benedict, to paleo breakfast (yum!! & filling), acai bowl, crêpes & pancakes. Many sides to also choose from if you are not hungry and just want to nibble. I had the blueberry scone yesterday morning, which they make in-house each morning & was the best I have ever had (very fluffy!). I arrived shortly after the cafe opened and there were already several sit down patrons. In less and an hour, there aren't anymore outdoor settings available. Unassuming, but very well one of the best breakfast experiences I have had in a long while. Also, the delicious raw juice bar is linked (next door) to the cafe. I wish I could transport this place to manhattan, but then it wouldn't because the ambience would go from warm Florida February morning without the sound of traffic to the opposite. read more

Heading to Naples for the day, I knew I would need to eat so I did my research. Let's start with breakfast. The Cafe appeared on the Yelp list of possible restaurants with plenty of good reviews. I added it to my saved list and on approach mapped the directions. I looked for street parking but none was available so I turned the corner and quickly found a space. As I'm walking, I see a garage across the street so parking should not be an issue. I was greeted when I approached the hostess station and told I could sit wherever I like inside or outside. It was a beautiful morning so I selected an outside table. The menu appeared and began the tough decision making process. I had seen a couple of tempting dishes online but they weren't on the menu. I asked if there were any specials and this list was brought over. These were the exciting choices. I ordered the crab omelet... yum! It arrived a short time later and was exactly as I wanted and expected. The omelet was light and fluffy with plenty of veggies and cheese. My only criticism is: I wish there had been more crab. It was very delicious and filling. Also on the plate was my choice of bread and their sweet potatoes. These were amazing. They were cut as fries but not fried. If anything, they may have been lightly baked. The potatoes were soft and tender with a touch of caramelization at the edges. Wow! So some friends and I put the location on the GPS and it took us to 5th avenue which is correct but we ended up by the bistro 821 restaurant and didn't realize the cafe was around the corner until we turned. We found it by chance. So just make sure you go around the corner of the bistro 821 restaurant. It was A great place for breakfast. Very nice atmosphere and the service was great! They even make smoothies and their omelettes are huge! I had the white chocolate mocha which was the perfect amount of sweetness and then I had the chorizo omelette which had a hint of spiciness but was delicious! The chocolate chip cookie was ok. Busy breakfast place just off of 5th ave. The service was mediocre but the food was good. I had eggs benedict and my wife had the strawberry crepes both of which were very good. It's always hard though when things like this happen I asked the waiter if the eggs benedict came with home fries or toast or anything and he said no, but he can add home fries for $3.50 for the dish. I don't really care about the prices I ordered the home fries anyway but at $14 for eggs Benedict can't you at least throw in a couple of pieces of toast. Maybe I'm old school but how do you mop up all that beautiful Hollandaise sauce and egg yolks without a piece of toast or some potatoes. I don't mind paying for things but I just hate being nickel-and-dimed. There are much better diners and little cafes if you just get out of old Naples and drive up 41. This is such a great place for breakfast. We have been here multiple times and always find it to be outstanding. On the most recent visit, I ordered the Mediterranean scrambler ($11.50) which included eggs with tomatoes, spinach, onions, kalamata olives, and feta cheese. Simply outstanding.
