With the beautiful and shaded outdoor seating, The Cafe is a great way to start the day. This was a nice quite cafe to have a relaxing morning and very attentive servers who made sure we had everything we needed. Even through located on on 5th Avenue, the prices are well worth the foor portion. I even had to get a box to take home. My steak burrito was very filling and now ready to go walk around.

My most favorite meal during my trip to Marco island and Naples. I got a burger, perfectly cooked. My friend was also so happy with the meal. Service was top notch. I highly recommend

This is a cute little spot just off of fifth Street. Very easy to get to. The service was OK. They a lot of different drink and juice options which is cool. Food was all right. Basic solid breakfast options.

We had our included breakfast at our hotel but then we felt the need of a good coffee, we came here and adventure with the Pistachio and Ginger Turmeric (with a expreso shot) and a croissant. Everything was delicious, we're glad we went out of our routine and got something different, healthy and delicious! The server was very friendly too!

I went for lunch on Saturday and was seated right away. The waiter was very attentive and answered any questions I had about the menu. I opted for the BLT (with added turkey) on sourdough bread and it was DELICIOUS! It also came with a side of chips which was great. Aesthetically the restaurant is very nice and the employees work hard to cleanup quickly. Will definitely be coming here again.

Always one of our favorite places for breakfast!

For a great breakfast or lunch in downtown Naples you can't beat this place. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted and feel welcomed. The service is exceptional. The ambience is very sophisticated. The food is delicious and presented beautifully.

The ham and Brie panini on gluten free bread was delicious. Special Summer Strawberry bowl was excellent. The service was amazing and informative. And a definitely beautiful day to sit outside.

We ate breakfast here four days in a row because why go any further! It's spectacular. The staff work is perfection-- from the seating hostesses to the food and coffee (rich and smooth!) runners. One day I did take out of coffee, adding a perfect blueberry muffin. Even take-out was a treat of impeccable service. Eggs Benedict extraordinaire. Cafe Bircher Muesli bowl with fruit and almond butter yogurt. LOVE! Try the Mediterranean Scramble too, a VERY tasty mix of eggs and vegetables with olives and feta.

    Vegan burger ($19) and nut-torious smoothie ($9.50)

The food here was delicious! Service was great, just wish they had longer hours since they close at 3pm. I went for lunch around 1:30 on a Sunday, and the place was quite busy and continued to be popular with people entering and ordering food just 10 minutes before the cafe closed. I tried the vegan burger ($19) which came with a piping hot chickpea "salad" as well as the nut-torious smoothie ($9.50). The burger fell apart quickly after a few bites, but the ingredients were all delicious, so I had no difficulty cleaning the plate up completely! The salad was a bit bland for my taste and simply consisted of chickpeas and a few chunks of artichoke, but the chickpeas were cooked to a soft texture which I appreciated. The Nut-torious smoothie was very refreshing and had hints of mint, dates, and the nutty flavors all balancing together beautifully. They definitely have plenty of unique drinks on the menu you can't find at a regular smoothie chain.

Coffee was served cold and scone was bread based, perhaps proper English scone, but not to my taste.

Our server Mike, did an excellent job taking care of us. We started off with a couple cocktails. I had an Old Fashioned and my wife had the Not Bogged Down. For dinner I had the Chorizo Encrusted Red Snapper and my wife had one of the specials which was the Tripletail. She said it was the best seafood dish she has ever had. For dessert, we split the special Crème Brûlée topped with diced fruit. We enjoyed the dessert so much, we purchased one for a sweet family of four sitting next to us. Amazing service and delicious food…read more My friends and I went to The Local before a movie at the Regal movie theater nearby. We were seated in a comfortable booth, and the overall ambiance was so lovely with high ceilings. We got there in time to enjoy a happy hour dinner menu. I ordered the Pork Ragu over Gnocchi as featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives." It was so yummy! And the portion was very generous. Service was also very friendly and helpful. Naturally smoked turkey with brie, pesto mayo, and tomato jam on gluten free bread, served with a fresh Caesar salad. Pretty good sandwich. The turkey was flavorful, the bread held up nicely, and the salad was crisp with a good coating of parmesan. Decent value for what you get. My wife ordered the fish tacos, which came with a side salad topped with blue cheese crumbles and red onion. The presentation looked great with nice char on the fish, fresh pico, and shredded cabbage piled high. But the execution fell short. The fish itself was chewy and not very tender. That's a problem when fish tacos are one of your popular dishes. On the bright side, our waitress was nice and attentive. No complaints on the service front. The cozy atmosphere lives up to the farm to table vibe they're going for. The Verdict: The Local delivers a decent lunch with good service and fresh ingredients. My smoked turkey sandwich hit the spot, but those fish tacos need work. Four stars for a solid overall experience, but maybe skip the tacos next time.

The drinks were creative and tasty, and while the wine list is short, it is very well curated. We started with the octopus, the bread and butter, and the mushrooms as appetizers. All three were excellent, but the octopus was the clear standout. I had never seen it served in that particular style before. It was a completely new preparation for me and absolutely delicious. The bread and butter was also finger licking good. For my main course, I ordered the cod gnocchi. I am still thinking about this dish three days later because the flavors and textures were so unusual and memorable. To finish the meal, we shared the chocolate tart and the tiramisu bread pudding. Both were delicious, though they did not feel quite as uniquely extraordinary as every other bite and sip we had throughout the night. One of our party members is gluten and dairy free, and our waitress was incredibly helpful in navigating the menu for her. She was thrilled with the shrimp from the daily specials menu. My only minor critique is that I wish they had a dessert option that would have worked for her dietary restrictions. Overall, this was a fantastic meal with top tier service.

The service was friendly throughout the meal, but everything moved surprisingly slowly, from ordering to receiving the food. We tried the salad, burger, and lamb kebabs. The salad and burger were decent but nothing particularly memorable. The lamb kebabs were unfortunately the biggest disappointment of the meal. They were quite salty and the meat was much tougher than expected, making them difficult to enjoy. Overall, the restaurant makes a good first impression with its ambiance and welcoming service, but the food did not quite match the setting. While the experience wasn't terrible, I'm not sure there was enough to make me eager for a second visit.

But sometimes simple done right is all you need. The wings were on point, the beers were cold, and the vibes were immaculate. Great music, laid-back atmosphere, the kind of spot where you walk in stressed and walk out smiling. And then there's Tina. She waited on us again, and honestly, she's a big part of why we keep coming back. Always awesome, always on top of it, makes you feel like a regular even if you're not. Good service elevates a good meal into a great experience, and Tina delivers every time. Here's my only complaint: I wish there was one closer to Fort Myers. We'd be here all the time if it wasn't a trek. And honestly? This concept would crush it as a larger restaurant with a full bar. Palm Beach Boulevard is seriously lacking in quality restaurant options, Backyard Fire Grill would absolutely dominate that area. Just putting that out into the universe. Someone make it happen. The Verdict: Wings, beers, great vibes, and Tina taking care of us, another five-star visit to Backyard Fire Grill. This place has the formula dialed in. Major shout-out to Ashley behind the bar -- absolute pro -- though honestly the entire bar staff deserves applause. Watching the bartenders run the room is like watching a choreographed ballet. They somehow keep a mental spreadsheet of the waitlist, open seats, timing, and guest flow, seamlessly slotting people in without chaos or drama. It's impressive, calm, and clearly run by people who know exactly what they're doing. Now, to the inevitable dog commentary: yes, restaurants have rules. Yes, health codes exist. And no, a dog in a baby stroller is not a service animal. That stroller should be reserved for, stay with me here, babies. Leave your dog at home for two hours. It will survive. So will you.
