I love grabbing matcha wherever I go. On my recent Naples adventure, I checked out two spots, and Cafe Marquise stole the show. From the moment I stepped in, the vibe felt like a cozy cute European café. The music set the perfect tone, and my crepe (upon my request no powdered sugar, no whipped cream) was absolutely delicious. Now, the matcha. They use ceremonial grade, and mine was light, clean, and beautifully balanced. I got it over ice with a splash of almond milk and a drizzle of honey--sometimes, a simple, flawless matcha is all you need to start the day right. Matt, the barista who crafted my matcha had the friendliest smile and a great energy that made the experience even better. Small cafe but mighty coffee and food! The coffee was really good! I took an extra one to go for the road. My husband had a matcha latte which he really liked. We had a gyro sandwich and the breakfast crepe. Pistachio Baklava and our son had gluten free avocado toast. They have great gluten free dairy free options, great dairy free milk alternatives for people with allergies. Food was fantastic! We really liked everything! The managers were really sweet but thought that the desserts were not that good. Perhaps I'm a bit spoiled comparing to NYC and having been to Turkey before, but the chocolate pistachio baklava was not crispy at all. Also tried the lemon almond cake which was better but the lemon could have been more tart. I did appreciate the texture of the cake itself. read more

Upon entering, I was greeted with the biggest smiles. I went for my go to with a little adventure with a lavender twist. The shop was a calming atmosphere and I wish I would've brought in my book. The only baklava I will eat moving forward! We were visiting and happen to stumble upon this cute bakery. As soon as we entered we were greeted with warm smiles and excitement. Walked out & made a mental note that I needed to post a review, especially since we could tell they were very newly opened. Stopped into this place because we saw their little sign on 5th Avenue & wanted coffee and to support a local place & not the chain down the street. Well, so glad we did - we both had hot cappuccinos and split an order of the pistachio baklava. The two young men working the counter/making the coffee were so nice and patient while I debated getting something fun or my typical drink. First and foremost I am sitting outside of cafe marquise and I would recommend you do not visit. They must've never been taught how to properly make coffee. Let me tell you they took too long to deliver our muffin, we had to go to the front of the store the ask them for our muffin before they even gave it. Not only that, my caramel frappe was decorated bathwater. It tasted like sewer water and tasted nothing like caramel and nothing like coffee. I had to swallow it down with my eyes closed. I'd go up to them and give them a stank face and leave but my manners are better than that. Anyways, come if you want to contact a polluted water virus ttyl xox. read more

I travel to Naples for work a few times a year. I always make at least one visit here. I have never had a bad meal here and the service is so friendly! The cafe is smaller but it is a very comfortable setting. All the food is made fresh to order, I've gotten their breakfast sandwiches, caprese panini and tried a couple of different crepes and couple different coffees. Even though I don't live in Naples, they have remembered me every time I've gone in.. it has never disappointed me and they will continue to get my visits during my stays! read more

Learning that their coffee is single-origin from Colombia and that they maintain a relationship with the very farm that grows their beans made us appreciate it even more. It's not every day you find a coffee shop with that level of connection to its source. The café itself is clean and beautiful. There are many thoughtful details throughout the space, from the artwork to the décor that celebrates their Colombian heritage. It feels authentic, warm, and inviting. Music is great too! Even the chairs were unique and surprisingly comfortable, making it a place you'd happily spend an afternoon. It's also a very family-friendly space - i saw games and books for children to enjoy. There is also plenty of tables to do work and a room in the back for privacy. Based on another review, we ordered a slice of the gluten-free, sugar-free chocolate cake, and it was rich, moist, and delicious-- hard to believe it was both gluten-free and sugar-free. Our drinks and cake were ready in about five minutes, which was impressive considering the quality. If you're in Naples--or just passing through on I-75 and looking for a coffee stop that's actually worth making - you won't regret stopping at Acopia. It's the kind of local business that's easy to root for, and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area.
