I live in Phoenix.. I come for work once a week ish. And always stop here. It's an awesome dive bar with GREAT food and good people. Again it's a DIVE bar. Very clean. people that complain about service are entitled brats and look for anything to complain in their everyday lives. They Probably voted for Biden . stuff happens. It's a small town. People call out of work and they're screwed. So take the sticks out of your A$$ and appreciate those that serve you. The burger and fries are VERY good. Awesome pool tables and great patio. We were told this restaurant was a family friendly environment. We walked to sit outside on the back so my 2 and 4yr olds could play corn hole and connnect 4, but there was a racey comment made by the singer who was on that night. Sooo we ended up sitting inside. This was our first time here with family and it was sooo good. Best burger (so fresh) and fries (so crispy) I've had in a while. We went early on a Friday night around 5pm and it was already a little busy. We waited a while for our food, the kitchen was pretty slammed. But the food came out so fresh. Our waitress was amazing though and checked on us constantly to make sure we had everything we needed. read more

Looked like a nice place but the bartender Ariana was very rude to us and the others at the bar. We thought maybe she was having a bad day but she was goofing around with servers where she makes drinks and then just say on her phone laughing when our drinks were empty. Great place to enjoy an afternoon or evening out while in Heber. Everyone that works at the Cabin is always pleasant and fun. The owners are hands on and often host often events and raise money for the community. Be sure to stop bye and check it out! read more

We went back. Consistancy is still an issue for me. Also when the waitresses smoke more often than I am seen to, it's an issue. We will probably go back for occasional drinks but thats probably it. read more

We have been wanting to stop here and eat for the past several years and finally did today. What can I say. The food was great and our waitress Geline was friendly and on top of our needs. The wings at this place are amazing. Super big, juicy and crispy. The burgers and ribs are the best in town. Philly Cheese Steak? To die for. The drinks are tasty and the beer is the coldest around. I am a full time Heber-Overgaard resident. I've eaten all around town more than once (even worked at a couple). I always keep coming back here. There are wannabe imitations around, but this place is the real deal. Dog friendly patio is a plus! read more

The bartender is always rude. She obviously hates her job. The drinks are cheap, and in a small town there aren't many options. Avoid if possible but I understand of you end there when everywhere else is closed. read more

Food and service? They didn't have items listed on the board. Food looked and tasted packaged. Our bill was wrong 3 times. Smoking is permitted on the patio while kids and families eat. This is a bar with stuff to fill the space in your gut. Don't go for a meal or experience. read more

The Cabin is closed for the winter. It will reopen in April. In the meantime here in Overaard we have the Red Onion, and the Wild Woman. Both excellent Bars and Grill. We also have an excelent Mexican food restaurant that serves drinks as well. In addition there are three smaller venues, that are food only. read more

Food was great but service was terrible. They were short of help but it took over an hour and a half to recieve our food. Food was sent out a little at a time so some of our party were done eating and some had not even got their food yet. Very disappointed. read more

The food was great but the service was terrible!! Upon arrival there was only one waitress and cook. A second waitress arrived but was still too busy to help. It took 15 minutes for them to come around with drinks and an hour and a half for the food to be served. Ok, as a long time Heber resident I have learned to lower my expectations in the north country. However, I always find myself puzzled at the untapped potential these businesses have. About the Cabin...... They usually have decent chicken wings, don't eat anything else! We have given them several chances and the food is always lack luster (sat ribs are good though). Now for the one star. Clean the place up!!!!! You could make a small meal out of the bugs piled inside the windows and you don't have to look hard from there. Here is the thing that saves them. THEY ARE IT FOR A LOCAL BAR. The Red Onion touts themselves as a bar but they are more of a restaurant. So I still like this place, for a few beers when the good bar tenders are working. Some of them hate life it seems others are great like Mikkey and Brent (good folks). I just realized I have to change to two stars. You have been saved by your bartenders (some of them) and your live music which is nice. read more

Love The Cabin Bar & Grill- cool afternoons on the back patio, great burgers, (by far the best in town) and a laid back environment. Live music often on the weekends-just a friendly atmosphere with quick service and a full bar. Bikers are welcome, as well as everyone wanting great food and drinks. This is a good watering hole for the USFS clientele across the street. But the owners need to open it up, get rid of the split down the middle for a "restaurant" that really is nothing but a place to eat your microwaved eats they bought at a store. I like the bar side somewhat, but it is lacking dearly, any real definition of what it is. Good to stop by once and have a beer, since your options are limited in Heber-Overgaard. read more

We love to stop here on our drive from PHX to Pinetop. Why?? Because they have the best cheese steaks...gloppy (gloppy is a VERY GOOD thing) cheese, onions and peppers grilled perfectly and a nice amount of steak. Good burgers with blue cheese. We stopped there on our way back to the Valley. I brought in my lemonade because I didn't want it to get warm in the car. The owner told me it was against the law to bring a container of drink into a bar even if it isn't alcohol. She offered me a free lemonade. Some people might have been angry or offended. But I thought it spoke well of her that she was making sure she complied with Arizona's laws. I did not actually double check this with AZ statutes. Absolutely amazing! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The cook, Mike , made the best Philly cheese steak sandwich we have ever had. We went back the next day for more! He catered to all of our suggestions by making carne asada french fries and garlic parmesan wings which weren't on the menu but absolutely to die for! Seriously, the wings were amazing!
