The bar tender "Chris " a female, was extremely rude, my husband waited for over 20 minutes to get a drink only to be ignored and when he finally said something to her, she said, I am the only one here and if you don't like it, you need to leave and we complained to the owner who didn't seem overly concerned about her employees behavior, I had another customer come up to me and tell me she overheard the conversation and was appalled by it, so we did exactly what the bartender wanted us to do and we left and spent over $100 at another restaurant because they didn't want to wait on us, all I can say is this place needs a complete overhaul or needs to be shut down because their customer service is absolutely horrific, if I could give them a negative star I would because disrespecting your customers is about the worst thing you can do as a business read more

It is definitely a bar, so the ambiance is pool room and high topped eating tables. The fried zucchini was special, and the onion rings were yummy good. I ordered at the bar for take-out and the staff were friendly and helpful. Both or us had burgers. Mushrooms on mine and thick tasty bacon on his, both with fresh tomatoes, lettuce and onions. Popped in for dinner on a Saturday night not knowing what to expect. What we experienced was a great small town bar with live music, awesome patio and yard, a couple pool tables and a friendly crowd. My husband and I went to The Cabin Bar & Grill, Overgaard, AZ tonight for dinner. We sat outside and enjoyed the live band Chris Kane Trio with some adult beverages and food. While on vacation stopped in for dinner. Service was not good. Long wait times for food. Flies swarmed us when we got the food. The food was, um...wasn't expecting anything special. The Cabin seems like a good place for locals to come from some drinks and play pool. I wouldn't come back for anything else. read more

When I tell you they make the BEST burgers, onion rings, and ranch that my tastebuds have ever eaten; it is no exaggeration. I'm a huge foodie and they have the #1 onion rings, ranch, and burgers. Especially the Sasquatch. Now the mothership is phenomenal as well, both burgers had the perfect bite with each one my husband and I took. They both were perfectly tender, salty, savory, cheesy, just everything you need in a burger. Do not even get me started on how perfect the onion rings are, so crispy and flavorful! 1. Don't go for lunch on Wednesdays... that's when their food service shows up (maybe) and they can't make anything. 2. "Food service" - nothing is fresh. Food is meh. It's bar food out of a box. 3. Service took forever. An appetizer and a burger does not take 30+ minutes 4. The stupid no guns signs - might work in LA or San Francisco, but this is northern Arizona. While we loved the outdoor space for our daughter to play and to have a space to eat with our dog, that was about the best part of the whole place. When we were in Heber we ate a different restaurant two times and we asked the waitress at that restaurant where else do people who live in Heber eat? She suggested we try The Cabin, so during our last visit we gave it a try. It was a semi-busy Friday night we probably got there around 4:30 pm. It probably took 15 minutes for a waitress to finally take our drink order and they did apologize for the delay. From there it took forever to get our order taken, our food out, our drinks refilled. We had the mozzarella sticks, the Cabin burger, the grilled chicken sandwich, and a kid's cheese burger. Nothing was anything to write home about the food all tasted from frozen and again it took forever to get the food out to us. It was really nice to have some games in their yard to play while we waited. I do have to mention there were hundreds of flies and bees/wasps around and even though they set up fly traps and tape it didn't help. There were two large ant hills out in the field that weren't right next to the eating area but they were rather large in size. Having all those bugs around really put a damper on the experience as well. We moved tables several times and it didn't help. This definitely seemed like the local's hangout and would be a fun place to listen to outdoor music and things, but I don't recommend it for a family with small kids. read more

Was invited to check out the band by my new neighbor who sings in it. Brought my family out at 5 pm for dinner. Noticed 4 other tables that arrived well after us getting food orders. Let the staff know that if our food order is not out by 7:30pm, we would have to find another place to eat. Left at 7:40 pm without food. We will not be back. read more

Cool spot in Heber where the selection is few. Live music indoor and outdoor seating which makes for a great experience either way. I have always chosen outdoors because that seems like where the action is at. Service was attentive and prompt and the food was delicious. read more

I have tried to give this place a chance but their service is simply horrible. We waited two hours for food and finally gave up and left hungry (went down the road and ate somewhere else). They cannot handle any volume of orders so don't go there on there weekends or you'll have to wait forever for your food. I won't be going back - ever. read more

This place is so much fun. Lots of entertainment in their "Biergarten" out back. Food is pretty good. Chili was surprisingly tasty. Surprised it's not busier every night. Live country music on the weekends. Owner Kendra is really nice and works hard to make this bar a local favorite. read more

First time coming here. Walk in and sit down anywhere you like kind of place. Greeted within a minute of sitting down by our friendly server. We got drinks right away (just me and my kiddo). Ordered an appetizer of potato skins, kids grilled cheese and fries, burger with added bacon and cheese and a side of onion rings instead of fries that came with it. Food was great, service was friendly.... My only complaint is that the food took a very long time to get to us. One cook that we could see and a room full of customers. My husband and I took our 3.5 yr old son here for dinner. We sat outside at a picnic table and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere! The new owners have made it family friendly and fun for all! My husband and I enjoyed the music, food and beer while our son had a blast playing connect 4 and cornhole. Try the fry bread, it's delicious! We will definitely be back on the regular! We usually stop in Heber-overguard for lunch when driving from Phoenix to Pinetop. I looked at the choices. This place appeared to be new. Always anxious to try something new and different. Walked in, we were greeted with sit where you like. The menu was simple but good. The waitress was engaging. Attentive, but not hovering. The food was awesome. A hamburger and onion rings. Table was dirty. No silverware when food was delivered. On-line menu did not reflect what was available, eg. no salads and no weekend ribs. Grilled onions on burger were only pieces of red onions for over$2.00 extra. No drink refills offered. Live music was WAY too loud. Ketchup bottles delivered twice were both empty. read more

I have been here 3 times for takeout. The first 2 times went ok and the food was good enough for us to become return customers. Today was a disaster Today on my lunch break I called in an order for 2 burgers around 11:30 and was told 15-20 minutes. Cool. I show up 25 minutes later and walk in, ask the bartender if I need to pay her for the takeout order or go to the restaurant side. She says I pay her. Cool. She is making drinks so I'm waiting patiently, no big deal. She takes the drinks out to the patio and is gone for 5+ minutes just chatting with people on the patio. She finally returns and does a few things behind the bar and eventually takes my cash. She then says she is gonna check if the food is done. I follow her to the kitchen side and she says the food isn't ready yet. It's now been like 35 minutes since I ordered and was told 15-20. I'm still just like whatever it's not worth getting pissed off about. After a few more minutes the cook sets the food in the window and loudly says "order" to try to get the bartenders attention. She is nowhere to be seen. I wait a few more minutes and never see her again. I try to get the cooks attention but he can't hear me so I take a few steps behind the counter asking him if I can just take my food and go because I am already late getting back to work. He is obviously not too happy about me bugging him which I understand. Dealing with customers is not his job. He picks up the food and tries walking over to the bar to ask her if I paid for the food already which I assure him I already paid. The bartender is nowhere to be found. He apprehensively hands over the food and I walk over to the counter area to grab condiments and the cook tells me I can't be back there. I wouldn't need to serve myself if They provided anything resembling decent customer service on this visit. The bartender obviously had better things to do than her job. Y'all won't be getting any more of my money. It's too bad because the food is usually pretty good. read more

Good dive bar if you order drinks at the BAR. If you order drinks anywhere else, or order food, forget it. They use those stupid handheld electronic order trackers and then screw everything up. You'll wait til your dead before you get your food, it'll be delivered wrong, and they'll be arguing about your check at your wake. Eat elsewhere. read more

She sat at the end of the bar and drank what ever evil concoction she made to transform into a snarky, mean old lady that had nothing better to do but make judgments on the customers that put money in her pocket. I felt like I was in an episode of " Bar Rescue". As a business owner I was shocked at the disrespect she was flinging around. She acted like she owned The Fillmore. Wow. Everyone was so Uncomfortable around her . We had to leave. There are nice places in Heber like the Red Onion and casa Ramos where it's a nice inviting place to spend time with your family in the pines. I'd definitely recommend those over The Cabin. The new owners of this place have done a great job on the remodel. The inside looks great, it's got a big bar & the kitchen looks clean. Outside is awesome also, super comfortable. If you wanna good place to eat, shoot some pool or have a drink this is the spot. Staff is cool, the food & drinks are great. read more
