If you are looking to remodel your kitchen and are concerned about hiring the right individual, well, look no further. Elana was with me every step of the way. She is very passionate about her work, kind, on time, and full of suggestions. The project was completed on time, and she was always timely with appointments. Elana's team is outstanding, so stop searching and call her!

We finally did it! We started with Elana pre-pandemic and dragged our feet to pull the trigger. 2023 we met up with Elana again and I think the timing was perfect and I was glad we held off. In the two years our style and colors drastically changed and my kitchen IS the kitchen of my dreams. Elana was great walking us through the process. It's so overwhelming but her expertise in guiding you step by step gets you to the finish line. Make sure, though, to communicate your ideas, wants, and pictures of even the smallest details so you are both on the same page. She has lots of resources which helped in finding my perfect cabinets. You want to make sure everything is captured that you want. I was able to make some upgrade tweaks which Elana was able to accommodate. Elana's has a great team, Felix, Juan, Bruno, and Alfonso. Bruno, Mr. Tile wizard, didn't have easy tile to work with my choice but he is a true artisan in that he meticulously matched lines and patterns amazingly, especially in corners. Truly beautiful. I am so in love with my new kitchen. I walk in still every day and can't believe it's mine!

Yes! that is a faint blue on the countertop!

One year later and I still walk into my beautiful kitchen and smile. Thank you to Elana and her team for a wonderful job.

Custom cabinets with great hardware, love the new updated look.

I was very satisfied with elana and her team with the work they did on my three bathrooms. Elana had fantastic ideas for design Felix did a fantastic job with all the construction and Bruno did amazing tile work the whole team was just fantastic. Can't wait for them to come back and do the kitchen .

I am so happy with the service provided! I called around and so many people turned me down to install a new sink and cut my granite. I was really nervous because my granite is so big and i was afraid of it cracking the whole island. They were punctual, which is something i look for. They were professional, quick and they cleaned up everything after they were down. Definitely recommend. The white sink is what i had previous and they put in the black sink and cut the sides so the sink can fit. Very happy

1 of 5. Notice date/time stamps. Proof that she added items I did not ask for. "I also included a wall cabinet...etc."

Based of the other reviews I had higher hopes then I should have. First, there is the consultation price, 100 dollars just to have Elana come look with a 50 dollar discount if you use the Yelp coupon, still an awful lot when every other cabinet maker I had come out, came out for free. I spoke with Elana about the consultation fee and she was willing to work with me over the phone and E-mail if I provided measurements and pictures. I did appreciate that which is the only reason for 2 stars. (Reduced to 1 star because of Elana's rude and deceitful reply, pictures of bids to follow proving her inaccurate statements.) Beyond this, there were a few concerns. I would ask questions and get vague answers, specifically I needed to know how far out her scheduling goes because the job is time sensitive. I asked several times with no answer until the answer I got was not really a full answer. "As soon as the cabinet guy is done making the cabinets." That answer was not acceptable as it was not a straight forward date and also did not include how long it would take to install the counter tops and sink we need as well. Beyond that, the pricing was actually higher then I expected and so was the requested deposit. 500 dollars up front on an 1800 dollar job. (only two counter tops, one of them being very small, a foot and a half wide by the typical depth of a counter top, a sink and one new cabinet) Then she asked for an additional 1000 dollars once the single cabinet was installed with the remaining 300 dollars due upon the installation of the counter tops and the sink. She also quoted me 25 dollars PER cabinet latch where as when her cabinet man came to do measurements said he could do them for only 6 dollars a door. At 16 doors with a 300% up charge, that is 400 dollars just for handles and latches? There was also the issue of an additional 600 dollars to re connect the single kitchen faucet. No other appliances or connections. Even my plumber wouldn't charge me more then 75 dollars for that but its something my husband can do so a definite no thank you there. I wanted to ask him how much he would charge on his own to do the whole job but I felt it would be disrespectful to Elana and her company so I did not do that but it is obvious as she states in her Yelp intro that indeed, all of her work is contracted out which means paying more money. She also wanted me to come to her to see the samples, which initially I was ok with and then realized that I could just look at them via pictures if she was able. She said that was ok and then sent me images of only 4 counter tops, all of which were very outdated. The other issue was the estimate itself. It was literally about 4 lines, not including measurements, the style of cabinet, the maker of the counter tops or the sink. It didn't include specifics on the install as to what is included at all. Very minimal compared to a normal estimate. I also don't like that her web site says she can do a full kitchen, all new cabinets for under 5k but when I asked her about that she said they were very old pictures and it would no longer be possible.(Literally blamed Trump due to tariffs but if you do your research, you will see Trump has nothing to do with the tariff issue right now regarding Cabinet and Counter Top makers.) So why are those kitchens and jobs posted on the web site? All of the information is very misleading. That along with her request to basically be paid in full up front, we decided we could not trust this company. We did find another company with all 5 stars out of almost 200 people who came in less then her bid and so far have been very professional. They went overboard on details which we prefer because when you are spending that kind of money you want to make sure all bases are covered on a signed contract and they are able to come out this coming Tuesday! Only 6 days after the bid was accepted which would of been only 5 days if Monday was not a holiday. Plus, they only require a 10% deposit which is closer to what is standard. I did E-mail Elana and told her my concerns before I posted this review. I just find this a very unfortunate experience and wish it had gone better but feel that people need to know my view on what has happened and then you can take it or leave it from here. Cheers! Regarding Elana's reply: I never did change what I wanted done. It was always two counter tops, one sink and one extra cabinet from the start. I did ask for a separate bid for the whole kitchen but it was ruled out immediately after you told me it would not meet our budget. The requested deposit never changed on the original amount of 2200 that went down to 1800 with still the ridiculous request for almost the entire amount up front. I wasn't led to believe anything regarding you contracting out your work, you plainly state this fact in your Yelp Introduction. Also, Juan confirmed it with his acknowledgment that once he quoted you his price, that you would quote me mine.

    Do you install IKEA Cabinets?

No, we only install what we sell. That is the only way that we can guarantee the quality.

Hello, Do you provide design layout and install cabinets in mudrooms?

Sure, we do kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, home offices, garages, or anywhere that you need cabinets and/or countertops.

Do you go as far as Banning? I have a kitchen remodel but only the lower cabinets and reface the uppers to match. Please let me know if you service that area? Thank you…

Hi, Yes we go as far as Banning. However, it will be less expensive to replace the upper cabinets then to reface them to match the lower cabinets. You will also have a larger cabinet selection to choose from if you are not trying to reface some…

I had no idea he would be a complete no-show and NOT show up. Not only a no-show, but no phone call, no explanation no nothing. What's even crazier, it was just 24 hours before April 14,, that one of his employees or partners named Andreas called just to tell me how excited he was to install my kitchen and that I had nothing to worry about they would be there and get it done. I have to be in my brand new home by May 31 st. So I begin to call around kitchen cabinet/kitchen installers all over Riverside County the Inland Empire and beyond. Every place told me that it would take it at least six weeks just to order the materials to make my kitchen counters and cabinets, and then I would have to find a date they were available to install the kitchen. After literally about 14 phone calls, I found Summit Cabniets! By a stroke of good luck , they had just had a cancellation but the owner said it was still going to be difficult to try to fit me in, but he would do his very best to accommodate my timeline. Anyone who knows me, knows that I can be redundant, part of that comes from the career I am in, because redundancy can often save a life! The phone rep Morris, and the owner of Summit cabinets didn't judge my emotional phone call, he just sat and did what very few people can do any more who are in business or selling products..... he listened compassionately. I think a lot contractors and building vendors forget that, though it may just be another project for them, it is a huge emotional and complex process for the homebuyer! Especially when it's someone like me who has saved and dreamed to build my own custom home. Vendors in the construction industry can become callous. This certainly was not the case with Summit Cabniets. Corona is not just a hop skip and a jump away from where I live in Cathedral City, However, before I could even get to his showroom in Corona, he had already been to my home, taking measurements, looked over my previous designs, the blueprints of my house, and had a fully designed kitchen, waiting for me when I arrived at the showroom. His budget was very fair only costing me a little bit more than the other company that completely ghosted me on the day of Install and still hasn't explained to me what happened. All I can say is , THANK GOD for Summit Cabniets. The showroom is awesome and professionally displays your many options for building a kitchen, he assisted me in picking out modern hardware for my kitchen, and he is the first person to understand the type of island I wanted built. The other company said it was impossible to build that type of island. I knew that simply wasn't true . Within moments, Summit produced a set of plans with the kitchen island, cabinets and counters that I dreamed about since I've been saving up for this beautiful home over 20 years ago! His calm, nonjudgmental, customer first attitude , and willing to listen to my dreary long story, was healing and exactly what I needed. It was also comforting to hear the warehouse attached to the showroom where I could hear construction of cabinets and kitchen countertops being constructed . The owner of Summit cabinets produced a very clear, itemized contract, and gave me his word both in paper and on video and to me personally that my kitchen will be completely installed by May 1 if not earlier. And the fact that the owner is also a general contractor, gives me even that much more peace. Im lucky to have a wonderful, and incredibly talented general contractor through a company called LEVEL UP construction. They have built me a perfect home exactly as I dreamed. And now thanks to Summit, I'll have the kitchen to go along with it! Had the owner of Summit not been able to do what he did, there is a very good chance I would not have a place to live after May 31st. My wonderful general contractor at LEVEL UP construction has almost completed the home, but the kitchen was one of the couple major things still needed so we can get our permit to move in. I will update this review once the kitchen is finished!!! But so far I am very impressed, and look forward to the finished product!

We spent a huge amount of time and effort, researching different cabinetry companies in order to find the right match for us. It became clear as we researched that there is a big dividing line within the cabinetry industry. Most typically there are guys who have table saws, and tape measures and they proceed to chop up wood and nail it together. However, a more recent development in the cabinetry business is what we were looking for. The most advanced companies come out, take measurements of the room and then design the cabinetry on a three dimensional computer system. This provides a way of essentially seeing what you're going to create before you even make one bit of sawdust. Once an optimized design is finalized, the wood parts are cut up and drilled by computer controlled machines, that very precisely control the dimensions of the wood parts to within only a few thousands of an inch. At that point the wood panels are simply put together with very little effort and essentially no corrective measures being needed. The result is a cabinet assembly that comes out essentially perfect. All drawers are precisely in line, everything fits pretty much perfectly. And this is how Haynes cabinetry operates. Along with Haynes, using the most advanced methods of creating cabinetry, throughout our project, they continually displayed a most proactive approach to dealing with us. At no point during the project, did we ever have to ask to have something done a second time. Everything we asked was taken care of, and taken care of with a smile. It was as if we were having friends that we've known for years come over and perform this work, they were amazing! Looking back at our home remodel, it is clear that Haynes cabinetry led the pack with regards to comparing them with the other contractors that we had involved in our project. We did hire a layout design specialist prior to meeting Charles, but the company took our design a step further and concocted a very ingenious shape for the lazy susans to maximize storage. The drawers on our base cabinets are deep, spacious and close softly. It's amazing how much we can store now. Ana designed specific areas to house our printers, office equipment, supplies, files, and everyday work items so that everything has a place. The expansive custom work surface gives us plenty of room, while the cabinetry provides an incredible amount of storage without making the office feel crowded. The full-extension soft-close drawers, floating shelves, under-cabinet lighting, and custom cabinetry are details we appreciate every single day. The installation team was equally exceptional. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail were outstanding. They took their time to make sure everything was installed properly and treated our home with tremendous care. We had just installed brand-new flooring the week before, and they went above and beyond to protect it throughout the entire installation. When the job was finished, they thoroughly cleaned everything and left the office immaculate. From the design process through the final installation, this was truly an exceptional experience. The finished office is even better than we envisioned--beautiful, organized, functional, and completely customized to our needs. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would recommend Closet Factory, Ana, and the installation team without hesitation. Five stars all the way!

When no one arrived, I texted at 11:15 AM to see if she was on her way. She responded, first saying she assumed I wasn't able to meet. Later, she explained she had a severe migraine and had gone to urgent care. I completely understand that medical emergencies happen. What I don't understand is why I wasn't notified before the appointment. We already had a scheduled appointment, so I was disappointed that no one reached out to let me know she wouldn't be able to make it. Instead, I waited without any communication. I also reached out to the company at 11:15 AM, but four days later I still had not received any follow up. I was ready to move forward with designing three closets, but the lack of communication from both the designer and the company did not give me confidence to trust the process

Walter worked with us to pick the right product and colors. We went with Shinnoki real wood veneer panels. They are beautiful and durable. Once they got the veneer up, they routed then hand-filed all of the openings. Then that meticulously painted the face frames to match the veneer. They even painted around the drawers where you can see very little of the painting they did. That shows a lot of pride! Walter also gave us the look of frameless cabinets even though we would have had to replace the cabinet boxes in order to make them frameless. That's a lot of extra work. We got a custom job for less than the price of a non-custom job. In the photos you can see the detail I'm talking about. I've included before and after pictures. The before pictures are all dark, ugly drawers and doors. The after pictures are the modern, two-tone look. In one photo in which I have a drawer pulled out with hot pads in it, Walter designed that and made it fit. There was not a drawer in there before because it's under the stove and the gas line was in the way. But Walter moved it. Walter's very conscientious and not afraid to tell you if he thinks something is not going to look good. He'll do whatever you want, but we learned that he knows what he's talking about. He identified the issue quickly and highlighted the lazy workmanship from our kitchen installers (Taranto Construction, Inc in Claremont, CA) who were subcontracted through Lowe's (who we purchased our kitchen from). The shelves collapsed because of loose screws from lazy installers at Taranto Construction, Inc. It's infuriating to have to pay someone to come solve an issue that goes back to completely loose screws in the hardware that would've taken an extra 5 seconds to properly tighten at the initial install. But they know people won't see it, so they cut corners. DO NOT EVER USE TARANTO CONSTRUCTION INC in Claremont CA for a kitchen install, or any Lowe's in the surrounding area, as this is who they refer the work to. After spending a short amount of time with Walter, it's clear he knows what he is doing and is a professional. He even tightened and adjusted other cabinet doors in our kitchen he noticed issues with that had nothing to do with the cabinet shelves he came to fix. He was a very nice guy and I was glad I called him. Thank you very much.

We met with three or four other companies before making our decision, and honestly, nobody came close to the level of service, attention, and ideas that Marcos brought to the table. His customer service has been amazing from day one. There was never any pressure and absolutely no upselling. He listened to what we wanted, understood our budget and goals, and then came back with a design that was actually better than what we had originally envisioned. We are incredibly excited to see everything come together because this kitchen refresh is going to completely change the look and feel of our home. One of the things we also really liked is that Mr. Cabinet Care is a family-owned business, they build custom cabinets, and the work is handled by their own team rather than being passed off to subcontractors. That gave us a lot of confidence in the quality and accountability throughout the project. If you are considering a kitchen remodel or refresh, I would absolutely recommend reaching out to Marcos.

A special thank you to our project manager, Doug, who was incredibly responsive, easy to work with, and communicative throughout the project. His team was professional, detail-oriented, and clearly took pride in their craftsmanship. They kept us updated with progress photos along the way and provided material samples to help us confidently make design decisions, which made the entire process much easier. What stood out the most was their commitment to quality even after installation. Once everything was completed, Doug personally came by to do a final walkthrough, making sure every detail met our expectations and promptly addressing the few touch-ups we requested. That level of customer service and follow-through really set them apart. We're thrilled with how everything turned out and would highly recommend CustomBuiltIns to anyone looking for high-quality custom cabinetry or built-in furniture. Thank you to Doug and the entire team for bringing our vision to life!

Repipe complete, then the builder came in. The project was to replace the island, lower cabinets of one wall, and repaint the kitchen. They took our check and started. Then virtually no progress in June, July, August, September, and October. I eventually drove to their shop to get my cabinets as they were unable to return them. We reached out to Doug at the beginning of November and he said they could help us out. They custom built and installed our island. They rebuilt our custom kitchen cabinets, and finished the kitchen painting. We were asking them to come in and finish a project that they had no history or familiarity with what we wanted, right before Thanksgiving. Doug and Eric spent time talking and working with us so we were all on the same page. Schedules made, notification messages of arrivals, and we always had a clear understanding of what will be done each day. We hope to have them back for other projects, and have recommended them to friends and family. THANK YOU CustomBuilt-ins !!
