I forgot to take a photo of their cold brew process that was being done in the morning, but it was fascinating to watch. The process looked painstakingly slow, yet very cool and worth seeing. After a long day of walking and sightseeing, a small afternoon coffee break was much needed. We ordered iced coffee along with a slice of honey cake. The cake was moist, not overly sweet, and paired perfectly with either iced or hot coffee. The only downside was the service toward the end of our visit. Since they were preparing to close, the staff had already started putting things away and cleaning while customers were still seated and eating or drinking. Personally, I think cleaning should begin after closing time rather than while guests are still trying to enjoy their experience. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the honey cake and would love to try their cold brew next time.

We had a mediocre experience at Harpoon Harry's at lunchtime today…read more When we arrived we were greeted quickly and we asked to be seated. The girl at the counter asked if we minded sitting at the counter which we agreed to. Shortly after being seated we noticed a table being cleared and asked if we could move to the table. The waitress we asked said that would be fine, but another who was cleaning the table at the time said she wasn't done yet. Then she rudely confronted us about waiting to check to see if they had anyone on a list to be seated. It then took about 15 minutes for someone to come take our order. The waitress who finally took our order was taciturn at best, barely speaking to us. I asked for cheese on my bacon, egg, lettuce, and tomato breakfast sandwich. She suggested cheddar which I eagerly agreed to. I also asked to have cheddar cheese on my grits. My partner asked for a poached egg and corned beef hash. She asked that the whites were not runny at all and the waitress seemed to scoff at her. When the food finally arrived everything looked great, but my sandwich had Swiss cheese on it and the grits had American. Though it was very tasty. My partners food came out perfectly. The short of it is the food was amazing. The service lacked hospitality.

Four of us split the pancake board and each ordered a breakfast entree and quickly realized our eyes were way too big for our stomachs. All of the food was delicious and the portions were very generous. This location quickly became a staple in our rotation for brunch. The coffee was amazing and strong. They had dairy alternative milks and several housemaid syrups which I am always a sucker for. I highly recommend going at least once.. But if you visit once, you will want to go again. The staff was amazing and the floor and wall art was fun to just take in while you waited for your order.

Excellent experience!…read more Our waitress, Mason, was bubbly, upbeat, and very knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the Shrimp & Grits (with the pico on the side), Eggs Benedict, and a side of bacon. I thoroughly enjoyed my Shrimp & Grits and even added crumbled bacon, which made the dish even better! My husband said his Eggs Benedict was excellent as well. To drink, I had the Caramel Latte, which was absolutely delicious. I prefer flavored coffee drinks, so it was the perfect choice for me. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. Great food, great service, and a wonderful overall dining experience. We will definitely be back!

Before I ordered I confirmed with her that the "up to 3 toppings" meant if I can choose 3 toppings before I get charged the add on prices - she said yes - then I get the bill and each ingredient was charged and the other waitor confirmed it meant that you can just choose 3 ingredients to be IN the omelette... lol so otherwise I wouldn't have chosen to lays $2.50 for Hollandaise sauce + $6 other toppings.. lol But overall the waitor - we were at the bar was great. Though they ran out of pie - we were finishing up our meal just in time when the new round of pies were ready and she checked back in with us if we still wanted! Overall the pie - very tangyyyyy, not a big meringue person but tbh think it didn't add anything to the pie lol in terms of flavor ,

When we walked to Doing Work Coffee, we were initially a bit confused and weren't sure we were in the right place. That's understandable, since it shares space with Wicked Lick Ice Cream. Fortunately, the owner noticed our confusion and warmly invited us in. Food: It wasn't listed on the menu, but they were happy to make me a London Fog tea latte. My son ordered a white chocolate latte. Both drinks were good. Personally, I prefer coffee served in a mug, and they only use paper cups, which took away a bit from the experience. They don't offer much in the way of baked goods, but they did have butterscotch scones. The scone was slightly too sweet for my taste, but the texture was excellent. They heated it for us, which made it even more enjoyable. Service: The service was exceptionally friendly. We felt genuinely welcomed, and the owner took the time to have a conversation with us. After hearing his story and seeing his commitment and work ethic firsthand, I found myself rooting for his success. Atmosphere: Since they share space with the ice cream shop, the environment isn't fully coffee-centric. Coffee is the focus earlier in the day, with ice cream taking over later. There is limited seating, and for me, part of the coffee shop experience is slowing down, drinking from a proper mug, and enjoying a calm, dedicated café environment. I'm not sure what their long-term plans are, but I hope they eventually move into their own space. They clearly care about what they're doing, and it would be great to see them grow into a full coffee shop experience. Best of luck to them.
