The Wellness Bowl with added egg and tofu

While in town I found myself at Moondog every day, multiple times a day. Being a gluten free (preference not allergy) vegetarian, Moondog had an option for every meal! I'm very active and finding protein options while traveling can be tough, but they accommodated my diet perfectly without needing to make modifications. The breakfast bowl with tofu is amazing, and the veggie burger is hands down one of the best I've had, and they recently switched to gluten free breadcrumbs as a binder so it's truly gluten free! 11/10 on the service scale as they started remembering my order and making me feel at home! They give out cool names for those waiting for tables, and the overall vibe here is not a tacky island style restaurant, more of a local, hometown, favorite. Their bakery items include plenty of options for gluten free guests, and everything I had from there was also amazing. Highly recommend!

We came here on vacation and were told this restaurant was a must try! Even though it's not pictured, we had the mahi tacos, shrimp tacos and chicken potstickers. They all were pretty good but nothing stood out. The star of the show that is pictured is their infamous Key Lime Pie. This pie was a hefty slice ($13) and more than enough to share. The meringue was toasted perfectly, the filling had a delicious tartness to it but the crust was so hard! We could barely cut the bottom of the pie because this crust was so hard. Eventually, we just ate the filling and meringue without the crust due to the hassle. I wasn't as amazed as I expected to be from the praises this restaurant gets but I would be willing to try again. The food came out very quickly and the customer service was great!

I came here for breakfast with my son, who is a vegetarian. They had options for him. The restaurant was adorable, the service was good and the food was good. I had 2 scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, potatoes, toast and coffee. My son had a tofu scrambled on a croissant with avocado. Both plates came with a watermelon slice which was a nice touch and quite delicious. The bakery section looked fantastic but we were going out and about so couldn't get anything to go.

We went back twice during our 4 day stay in Key West.

We loved the atmosphere, service, and food. Portions are generous, food is fresh and well prepared. Don't let the line out front scare you off. We'll definitely go back!

Moondog has some truly unique flavors and we enjoyed our dinner visit! We got the Mac N cheese, steak tacos, and Key Lime Pie. I honestly think this key lime pie was the best one we tried on the island. Although, Publix is still my favorite. The Mac N Cheese was delicious it is very non traditional so be prepared for some sharper flavors. We went when it was freezing cold so we had to sit on the outside patio because inside was on a waitlist. We still got our food relatively quickly and the waiter was very nice. I would definitely return back here for another dinner in the future. All in all great place!

As soon as you come in, you can see scrumptious desserts in the glass displays. I got the key lime pie with torched meringue. It is very sweet and not tart. I enjoy the thick graham cracker crust and the high meringues. I wanted to try more of the dessert but I was bummed by the unfriendly girl at the counter. I said hi to her but she ignored me. To add to the insult, she helped a lady who came after me. Definitely not a good customer service.

The coffee is amazing and they have a bakery case in the front with great pastries! The wait was a bit long but I feel like it went by quick, they have very quirky characters they give you while they wait. I got the chimichurri churassco breakfast plate and it was delicious! The A/C on the inside was wonderful and they have a nice outdoor patio area but it is a little limited on space.

Came here twice on our trip! Key lime pie was delicious, and I loved their tropical pineapple cake. Banana cream pie was good too. It's also right next to Hemingway house and the lighthouse which gives you a nice break between tours.

We went back several days while in Key West- every time the food was incredible! I can't say enough good things about the breakfast pizza! The staff was also so friendly and seemed like they were happy to be there! The gluten free options were also a big selling point for us- they had so many options! Couldn't recommend this place enough

Moondog is so incredible that I ordered takeaway 3 times during my trip! Online ordering was super easy, and the food was always ready on time. The staff are nice, and the food tasted fresh. We loved the variety on the menu because there's something for everyone. There is indoor seating, as well as outdoor seating, and it was always fairly busy no matter the time of day we ordered food (understandably-- it's THAT good), so prepare accordingly. Cons: My key lime pie tipped over in the takeaway box, and we did not receive utensils or napkins each time we ordered takeaway.

The weight is long. They don't take reservations and parking is tough outside if you have a car. It's best to walk here as it's an a lively place right across from the Hemingway House. Getting a pastry or a coffee is a good way to go if you don't have time to sit down. I got the seafood omelette and it was delicious! I highly recommend this place if you have the time and don't mind waiting for a table.

Came here for the key lime pie, stayed for the creme brûlée croissant! This bake shop in key west has a rustic feel to it to welcome you with the baked good inside along with a cafe. There's also a side store where you just do Togo orders (which we opted for) with a friendly attendant. One thing in key west I was recommended to do was get a key lime pie. We saw a few places but this place had the "best looking" and most "insta worthy" pie. It was kinda pricey for a slice but it was massive! It overall was just okay. The crust was kinda dry and the meringue overpowered the pie itself. However, we also got the creme brulee croissant. My partner wanted the ham and cheese but they didn't have it so we opted for this instead. It was delicious! The crunch of the brown sugar on the croissant and the creme inside was rich but kept you wanting more! Overall, we will be back for the creme brûlée croissant, just thinking about it is watering my mouth!

The place is very small and very packed, so I would advise to get there either early or filter to run for a later brunch. The space is pretty small, but it is really cute and the baked goods are insane and gone by 10 on a Friday. Fresh baked bread fresh pastries looked unbelievably good. They have a large selection of fresh maid smoothies, and juices made while you wait which is perfect for after a night of drinking! I saw some pictures on Yelp of the eggs Benedict and they have a full page devoted to different types of eggs Benedict. I decided on this smoked salmon eggs Benedict and it was probably the best I've ever eaten in my life in any country. It was literally that outstanding!! The food comes out relatively fast although they're insanely busy and it's efficient.. It's not a place you lounge around with a lot of people - eat and get out, because there is a line waiting to be seated no matter what day what time. These servers really hustle too. This place is also known for its coffee which they have a lot of different varieties iced and hot and it's absolutely top-notch, pair that with some fresh baked goods and you've got yourself one hell of a start to your day. I've always loved Evelyn's for breakfast or Sarabeth's, but this place blew it away in my opinion and I've been coming here for 15 years for work. This is my absolute go to breakfast place for you yelpers if you're interested - I don't think you'll be disappointed!!

Everything was so firm that I couldn't dip or spread anything onto the toast. We waited a pretty long time so maybe I was just too hungry to send these back! Green juice and orange juice were nice. We were originally say at a very very small "shelf" that would be fine for coffee but not for a meal. We moved to a table and that was much better.

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It was one of those meals where you immediately know you picked the right place. Just as impressive was the staff--the service was impeccable, and everyone we interacted with was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. We enjoyed it so much that we came back later for happy hour and dinner, and somehow it was just as impressive. The staff made us feel right at home again. We had amazing appetizers, great wine, and finished with the snapper entrée, which was absolutely delightful. I'm including a photo because it looked every bit as good as it tasted. It's rare to find a place that delivers this well across breakfast, happy hour, and dinner, but Sarabeth's did exactly that.
