The best! Brooke is the best. I needed another cake, this time for my pastor's 20th Priestly Anniversary and she totally delivered and people really loved it. I was motivated to use her again because of the great experience using her last time. They aren't cheap, but I wanted a high quality, organic cake and we got it. She also was able to deliver, so I got what I paid for! Fr. Burfitt's favorite cake is carrot cake, so we had a main carrot cake and a display of cupcakes in white cake--- the cream cheese frosting was delicious. I wanted blue crosses on the cupcakes and although she had a hard time getting from her supplier what she needed, she made it happen and improvised in a beautiful way--- she handmade some lovely crosses and then because of time, ended up using a different motif, but one that was complimentary on the others. The cake had two flavors inside, one was a white cake and the other was a chocolate; I had the chocolate and it was amazing. It tasted so fresh, not dried out like most wedding cakes. I then discovered that they bake the cakes only a day before an event, plus they use organic ingredients. A few years later I used The Cake Shop for cupcakes for a annual summer party I have at my house. I ordered the chocolate with butter cream and chocolate with chocolate glaze.
