I called for simple information about a property Campi Properties advertised, they wouldn't tell me anything and asked me to describe instead what I am shopping for. I described what I needed and I also asked to see another property they had advertised. I told them I can't make the offered Friday only showing. I grew frustrated with the woman's continued interrogation and refusal to tell me about the other advertised property. She then put her dad, Mr. Campi, on the phone. Rather than pick up the thread of the conversation, I had to start over explaining to him my inquiry. He somehow got the idea I am a real estate agent and then when his misunderstanding came to light, he accused me of misspeaking, he claimed that I said "my client" couldn't make a Friday appointment. He then argued about whether I said that and wouldn't accept that it was more likely he misheard me than I would ever say "my client" what with me not being an agent and all. The misunderstanding was no big deal but it was important to him to prove that it was my fault. Trying to move forward, I reiterated my request for information about the advertised house. He then told me I could have found all the info on his website and made it sound like it was my fault for calling the phone number in the ad instead of going to his website. Growing tired of his arguing and mistreatment of a potential client I hung up. He then called back and gave my wife a hard time and said "communication is a two way street". There is no way in this world that I would ever list or buy a property through Mr Campi's firm. read more

During the meeting, you were very effective in guiding the negotiations and countering several of their arguments. We've worked with many real estate agents over the last few years and every time we ended up getting frustrated as the incentives are completely misaligned.
