    Hurts so bad!!!
    Nikki G.

Bought a couple soaps from here about 2-3 weeks ago and I have the worst chemical burn on my hands it was bright red burning at first and now it's red dry and cracking and bleeding I've been applying healing lotion and crying because I don't know if my hands will ever go back to normal.. all they care about is how good their products smell they don't care about all the chemicals and putting good things to moisturize your skin all they care about is how good it smells! all it is is chemicals chemicals chemicals I will never buy lotion soap or perfume from here again. Going to be taking ALL my bath and Bodyworks products back tomorrow for a refund and I pray to God that my hands will go back to normal and I don't have to live with this for the rest of my life but unfortunately it looks like it is scarring and that makes me so upset I trusted this company and now I have to live with ruff scaly dry bleeding hands.. I called their customer service and filed a health report and they said someone would call me back within 24 hours and here we are a week later and still no call clearly they don't care.. I took back the soap that ruined my hands and they didn't even give me back full price because I didn't have a stupid receipt, I didn't think it would do this so of course I didn't keep the receipt

Great gift idea for moms. My mom loves the candle scents from this place. Even though it's hard to surprise her it's nice to see her smile.

Never enough products in stock or availability of scents! Employees need to be a little familiar and welcoming please.

I was interested in some hand soap, which happened to be 4 for $15 (they always have the best sales).

We were able to put out food and drinks we brought on one table, and then make our candles at another table. They have a whole wall of scents to choose from. If you get a stinky one, grab the loose coffee beans and take a whiff! Those were a lifesaver a few times! Then you pick your "vessel" to make your candle in! Once you have your scent(s) (pick up to 3) and vessel, it's time to make your candle! Super quick and easy process. Pretty hard to mess up. The girl who worked with us was super helpful and patient when our scales weren't cooperative. She was full of stories about different scent combos and when she's actually messed up making her candles. You will feel like a mad scientist and have a lot of fun! While we waited for our candles to set, we were able to tuck into the snacks we brought. I'd say it was maybe an hour, hour and a half and they were ready for us to take home! I can't speak to price because my boss is amazing. :D The front area is not well decorated. There are two cute photo-op areas. The bathroom is super cute! There's a tiny gift shop in the back by the cash register, just before the bathroom. This place is downtown so parking can be a pain. There's a free lot up the street next to Bumpy's tavern though. If you're looking for a fun, crafty experience and can spare the cash, I highly recommend it!

I will be back once I work my way through my entirely too large stock of stationery or perhaps when my stationery obsessed sister is visiting. The prices reflect the quality and intentional choices of items that are more sustainably sources. That said, I would say its in line with similar shops I have been to in NY, if not a bit more affordable.

They carry Midori journals, Travelers notebooks with inserts and leather cases. These are items I usually only find in specialty stationery stores in Seattle or Portland. There's also a nice assortment of pens, cards for different occasions, and various journal setups. I even spotted paints and colored pencils, which makes this a cozy creative hub for anyone who enjoys journaling or mixed media. It's clear this shop was created with the journaling community in mind. I completely understand how challenging it can be for a smaller store to keep a wide range of stock when people don't always take advantage of having such resources nearby. I truly hope the local journaling community supports this gem so that the store continues to grow and maintain a steady flow of new and inspiring materials. So happy to see this kind of stationery store in downtown Tacoma. I'll definitely be back!
