    "Gelato Bomb"

This place is incredibly dangerous... for my waistline. Resisting the urge to buy everything in sight is no easy feat. That said, thus far, I've been able to limit myself to one Spumoni (a layer of chocolate, pistachio, and cherry ice cream) "Gelato Bomb" per trip and I'm always happy with that! Support small and shop local - this friendly little place deserves it.

We stumbled across this little shop after lunch. Not too many selections compared to other candy stores in the area, but they did have a cool vintage candy section and something for everyone in the glass case. We got the chocolate covered bacon, a chocolate peanut butter Oreo and a peanut butter dream (turned out to be ritz crackers and peanut butter dipped). Decent!

    WOW Im excited!!!

Adorable & inviting, colorful store w really good chocolates! They have a nice selection and boast my 3 favorites - chocolate covered pretzels, bark and nonpareils - and even GIANT ones at that! You can also find 'old school' candy here and unique little items / gifts. A wonderful thing is that they'll let you sample ANY ITEM YOU WISH TO TRY. We had 2 types of bark samples that were just yummy & we wound up buying 4 big pieces of each. A definite shop to stop in when you're in the area!

I've already reviewed The Candy Jar's old spot, but oh well -- it's a new day. And a new year. And a new location. The Candy Jar is now even more dangerous than before. At least the last time I lived in Colls, I was on one side of town and TCJ was on the other. We had a safe space between us, so I'd only stop in every now and again. Those days are over. Now I just need to walk up a street, cut through the PATCO/police lot, squeeze through that random alley and...yep there it is. Right across the street. Right in the center of town. Oozing with all its pretty sweet treats. Their business concept hasn't changed. The space doesn't look much different than what I remember from their other location either. And they'll still ask you what you want to sample when you visit. I've recently become attached to their butter mints, but they have so many wonderful, classic candies, like candy necklaces, those root beer things, and even Mary Janes (seriously though, who actually likes Mary Janes? Eep). Plus all the chocolate, of course. So many varieties! I can't trust myself not to check in at least weekly. Yesterday, for example, I had a terrible day at work, dealt with a million hours of traffic and instead of walking in my house, I just zombie-walked to TCJ instead. It has that type of allure.

Old school candy shop right downtown! I love that you can pick your chocolate candies one by one. They have just about anything you can think of and the owners are so friendly. Such a pleasant place to stop in.

Amazing candy store. Huge sample sizes of anything you want in the store with the absolute best service and kindest owner. Loved it!! Will absolutely be back. The store has been here over 15 years.

Just stopped by today with my friend Chelsea, this shop is decorated so cute it's bright pink with vintage pictures hanging up and there is tons of delicious candy. The ladies are so sweet and immediately engaged us in a lovely conversation then offered us a free sample! We had the milk chocolate Swedish fish and they're incredible I may be addicted now haha & as a whole this place is so cute, the candy is spectacular and the ladies who own it are amazing. I will definitely be coming back! :)

Amassing place!! They won't let you not try multiple samples! It's the best candy store I have ever been to in my entire life!

Thank you to Sugar Factory for making Valentine's Day for us gals such a wonderful experience. The food was on point for all. The hot chocolate versions you cannot miss if you've the opportunity. They even have to-go versions that are on a separate menu. Be sure to pay attention that there are different menus and far more choice in foods for lunch than simple brunch. They do have a hard time keeping up with the drink orders overall. Meaning that you may order a drink of any kind and because of the intricacy you will wait a longggggga time. Be patient. Make sure you have no other place to go. Enjoy!

I wasn't expecting gourmet food, but I also figured it be on the level of say an Applebees. Nope. Think much worse and double or triple the cost. I dropped $360 in here(we didn't get any of the expensive drinks), and it was one of the worst places I've been in a long time. I've heard decent things about the one in AC, but this one isn't it.
