Plain bagel with cream cheese; iced coffee

Staff were very kind and pleasant and accommodating (I was with someone with physical limitations, they brought us our food!). Food and drinks were served quickly, and everything was delicious. Wonderful selection of bagels and food items. I ordered iced coffee, which had an amazing flavor, and they make their own iced coffee batches. Will happily return!

I'm on the road door dashing for life and vacay funds. It's miserable outside well it could be worst but it's rainy and if you ever have to work in the rain- needlessly to say, you already know. And so, I trekked on. With a major headache coming on and all. Life has brought me to this area and of all the food I could think. A bowl of Pho would heal me, but too far and would cut into money making time, you feels. And so the thought of a bagel came about. It's simplicity and convenience called to me. And so I called the local bagel shop and placed my order. Fast forward, I arrived to my destination. It's in the same plaza as Target and Sprout. Again, needlessly to say, parking sucks. Just have patience and you shall find a spot. I opened the door, greeted by the smell of toasty warmness. Friendly customers waiting patiently by the in-house cream cheese haven of a refrigerator. Amongst the togo beverages. It's a small hole in the wall kinda place. Order at the front and a seating area in the back. No frills. Still quaint and cute with the poster arts and old school feel good music. The bagel was a warm hug to my tiring body. It was a solid bagel, since I've had the pleasure of eating North Jersey (basically Ny style bagel) not much compares lol. And so, for what it was, a very solid local bagel.

She has serious arthritis, so she needs the bagels cut. Every time she asks, the staff roll their eyes at her, make her feel horrible for asking. They HAVE a bagel cutter--sitting right next to their mean, strawberry-flavored bagel faces. So it's extra weird. Especially when they snap at her, "WE DONT HAVE TIME FOR THAT!!!" Even without debilitating arthritis, it's extremely messy having to cut a whole bag of bagels by hand at home, especially when they're covered with stuff. It's dumb. Like I wouldn't ever make a catering order because of they refuse to cut them--and we have lots of occasions to. Last time I checked, no one's dying over bagels, so, yeah, you do have time, to be kind kind. Time to be a good neighbor, time to not be ageist and ableist, and time to act like a normal person. Anyway, we love bagels. But since it just bagels, I'm fine with going somewhere else.

It was great. The true test will be when I come back on a normal hunger level.

Love seeing a positive face in the morning! I orders a BEC on sea salt rosemary-- my goto. Bagels were out in ~5 minutes, and it was a delicious bit to eat with coffee later on. The shop here is pick-up only, and on some mornings when I've visited especially in the winter, it's kind of painful to wait inside because it started to get a bit cramped. More just a heads up but not a piece of feedback though since their lot is pretty small. If you're grabbing breakfast in the Rittenhouse area, this is nice option for you! Just know that you'll have to take it to-go and eat it elsewhere.

The everything bagel seasoning was very good but the bagel was mediocre. The bagel was loaded with strawberry cream cheese which had good flavor. The others had regular bagels and had better reviews of the bagels. A couple egg sandwiches were described as being "good" and a plain bagel with cream cheese was given similar review. I'm not sure it's the kind of bagel shop that I would go racing back to at any point but it was decent. A bright light was how good the staff was to work with in terms of being friendly while placing an order. Probably brought this review from a 3 to a 4 based upon the staff interaction.

Delightfully small and quirky corner coffee shop in downtown Collingswood…read more Look at the front of the shop. Now look to the right at all of the fire extinguishers and fire trucks. Now look up. That's where I used to live for many years. So yes I was a regular at Groove Ground for awhile. When I wasn't in the actual shop, I was up in my apartment using their free wifi. Stopped back in today while walking around town doing some Christmas shopping, and the place hasn't changed. Still tiny with a few natty armchairs and couches, still the eclectic mix of music records and other merchandise (a lot of it by local artists), still staffed by friendly employees. One change is that they used to be open until 10 or 11. Like most coffee shops in this area, they now close early. They're open 8 - 6 every day. It's not exactly a destination store. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here for anything on the food or drinks menu, and for records and small handmade gifts, there are several other and better options in town. But I like that it's independent and supportive of the community, and it's still a nice place to stop in while in Collingswood doing other things.
