Don't let this place fool you homeless people go on the property all the time and have been found sleeping and digging in the dumpsters. I was there for over two years. My car got broken into (cost me $900) along with 7 others. They did absolutely NOTHING for us. No cameras on property. When I left they not only hit me with hundreds of dollars for a carpet that they could have steam cleaned and 2 holes from hanging my TV I also have to pay $26 for a 1 time cc charge to pay it in full. I spent $40,000 in rent on this property and this is how they treated me when I left. Apartments were getting broken into as well. read more

My boyfriend and I toured this complex with Coy on 9/20/25. Funnily enough, it was the first complex we toured, and will end up being the place we will choose to call home in the future. Coy was very warm and friendly while guiding us around the property. It was clear she was very well versed and has been around for a while, thus, I wouldn't have any concern lending my trust with her in the foreseeable future. As for the area and building itself, it was tidy and clean and facilities/amenities seemed up to date. Fees and prices are reasonable for the area and what is provided I feel. The sense of community was a very big driving factor in what led the decision in wanting to pick Cantera. The corn hole game at the end to get an additional sale off the move in fee was a cute touch. Not to mention... out of the very many places we went to look at, Coy was one of TWO that also kept me in the loop of correspondence in trying to gauge interest in potentially moving forward with a lease with my boyfriend instead of keeping it solely to my boyfriend. Like... hello??? I am also going to be renting as well? It felt disrespectful from the other leasing agents to completely disregard me from further communication but I could definitely tell Coy cares about prospective residents and current residents alike. I am excited to be moving here at the end of the year. read more

SO many problems with this place. I rented a storage unit and vacated it while I lived here and they continued to charge me 2 years after I had signed paperwork to vacate it. I had to threaten them to contact the BBB for them to refund me 3 months after bringing it to their attention. I am a single mother and my downstairs neighbor used to sit in front of his window and watch my daughter and I come in and out of my apartment and he kept asking me out. I brought it to their attention and they didn't care. They told me I didn't give them 60 days notice to vacate so they charged me a ton of money for the notice. The units are nice but the operation is a scam. read more

I have been here about 5 years. one thing that concerns me when living in an apartment is maintenance. I was worried when a trusted maintenance person left, but now that I've worked with Victor, I am secure again, knowing that we have a hard-working, knowledgeable person, whom I trust to do anything that may be needed. I moved to Cantera in 2017 and thought it was a great property and enjoyed living here for 6 years. I'm a professional who works full-time, no pets, no children, followed the rules diligently, never late with rent even when it was raised significantly after the pandemic. Then during this past Christmas I was told that I must vacate. I was absolutely shocked and saddened. When I asked why they said they wanted to refurbish my unit, they did not offer me another apartment. The management always seemed so kind and friendly to me; they have resident activities, free meal days, parties, etc. but I guess when they decide they want to refurbish your home after 6 years, the friendliness ends. Warm one day, cold the next. It is a business after all but where I came from a steady quiet tenant is better than an unknown tenant for a few hundred dollars more. What a shame. No apartment community is perfect. My biggest complaint here is the lack of security response when an issue came up. Apparently there's one security car for all Picerne properties and if your neighbors are raging at 2am you're out of luck. The police were far more responsive. Pool parties in the Summers constantly go past posted hours and only once did management respond. They do not enforce their own rules especially for late night hot tub parties. Saturday nights are one thing but too often they happen during the week. So if you want to party past 11pm this is the place for you! Another annoyance is leaf blowers every Thursday at 7am even when it's windy. This resulted in dirt being blown onto my door step. Residents are not good at picking up after their pets. Dog dirt everywhere. Constant construction on one of the two pools. Most of last Summer only one pool was open and if you wanted to avoid screaming kids at the other one you were out of luck. I believe the constant upgrades are likely how they justify rent increases. I rarely used the amenities so paying what I did to live here was more than I wanted to pay anyway. They seem to spend more attention on the amenities than other things that need attention. With properties like these it's all about appearances and pretense without much substance. They raise the rent about every two years. I think a one-bedroom is going for around $1700 now. This place is not worth that amount, buy a house. I'm sad to leave but when they give you the boot they are done with you! If you choose to live here don't get too comfortable and no matter how great a tenant you are, they do not care. read more

I have an update. I have officially moved in and let me tell you Ruby in person was by far one of the sweetest leasing agent I've met. Ruby greeted me with a smile & open arms.Ruby took the time to take me on my tour & walked me to my unit. She was absolutely a pleasure.. Ruby explained in detail every bit of my move process gave me the keys and welcome me to my new home. A day after my move-in she followed up sent me an email and checked up on me to make sure my move-in was going good. Now that's what I call a welcome.! Thank you Ruby for everything that you have did during my process. Kudos to you and I hope corporate does see this because you are one of a kind.. I LOVE MY PLACE. read more

There is this girl name ruby that works in the front office who seems to always give me attitude when I inquire a maintenance help in my unit. Update... after they finally responded to my desire to clear up their error, my review now drops to 1 star - at best. I provided the New manager with the actual letters and documentation from the previous manager which clearly state my satisfactory completion of the lease terms. Her response was simply "we are unable to change the move out statement as it is charged per the lease." The facts no longer matter. To any law firm working on a potential class action lawsuit, this clearly proves that they modified their books after the fact to make me look like I broke the lease, which allows them to redefine my final rent payment as a penalty fee; which avoids it being categorized as "double rent" from 2 parties for the same unit. Bottom line: they stole it from me. read more

I have been living here for almost 3 years now & coming from Hawaii we don't have complexes like this. I really love the front office staff, Coy & Sachi are amazing & very responsive. Everytime I put in a work maintenance order they are very efficient. Recently my A/C went out & Renzo was able to get it fixed before we got home. I love living here, I personally haven't had any problems. Having open communication which is what they provide has been great!! I highly recommend this property! read more

These apartments are worth every penny! The staff is amazing, the property is always clean and quiet, maintenance is fast and efficient, PLUS it's easy to pay rent online! Thanks to Coy, I had the easiest move in process ever, she's amazing! Jepherson is always positive and welcoming in the office! They really excel in making you feel at home! It's unfortunate for those who have had bad experiences, but mine have been great so far! The only downside is parking at night sucks, always end up walking far. Otherwise, it would've been 5 stars. My little family and I (me, husband, daughter, and 2 doggies) have been at Cantera for about nine months now and have loved everything about it! We love how well priced it is for all the space you get and the lovely amenities (hardwood floors, cherry cabinets, high ceilings, track lightings, indoor staircases, etc). Additionally, the maintenance on the property is wonderful! Work orders have always been taken care of timely. You can request filter changes every month or more if you have animals. They also have a very well-equipped and maintained gym and the property has two pools that during the summer i watched them clean and sanitize every morning. There are also multiple gas BBQs that they keep clean for use and multiple animal waste stations around the property. On top of this, the office staff are awesome! They are extremely nice and personable. They are very engaging with their residents; always keeping us well informed on new community policies and strategies and we LOVE their creativity in holding different events/contests for their community of residents every month. For instance, recently residents had an opportunity to submit a picture of their fur babies for a chance at a drawing to win fur food and toys. They've also held many other donations to help their residents and the local community; they make it a point to celebrate and give back to their residents and don't just act like we're another payment. It's been so nice being so much closer to work and well, everything since you literally turn on the main road and can get to anything you may need in less than 5 minutes. COY IS THE BEST! My experience in "Cantera at Coronado Ranch" started over the phone because I was moving from Florida to Las Vegas. Coy made everything easy, she guided me on how to make the application online and got me approved over the phone to get an apartment that fits my budget and my needs. I was looking around the area and didn't find a better person to communicate with about the apartment and utilities set up. Coy guided me through all the steps, Electricity, Water, and internet set up. Couldn't ask for better!! Upon my arrival, I was greeted and warmly welcomed to the facility by Coy and Jepherson. Felt welcomed and at home already, they took me to my apartment and I loved it!! Exactly what was agreed on the phone and they even gave me a week to point out any imperfections in the walls or appliances because they knew I was tired from the trip. I have been here for almost a month and everything is going as smooth and easy as anybody desires. Any concern I had in the apartment was taken care right away thanks to the one and only Coy!! I truly believe that Coy is a huge asset for this condominium. Always smiling and giving people help when they need it and always trying to make sure that I am comfortable and everything is good. Not sure how Cantera only has 3 stars, but I suspect it's from previous management. The hospitality and amenities here are so wonderful. I have lived here for 8 months now. My apartment is beautiful, and it was clean when I moved in. Front office management are FAST to respond to emails, and go above and beyond. Coy and Hannin make you feel like family. I moved here from out of state and Coy replied to so many of my emails with follow up questions, and even walked to my building to send me photos of windows (I couldn't remember if a certain wall had windows!) Hannin helped me move in and made sure I was completely settled and didn't need anything. She's fast to coordinate maintenance and answer general questions. Both pools are sparkling clean and maintained every single day. The gym has so much to offer they could charge a whole membership for it (they don't lol)! Anyways - I love this place, and you probably will too! read more

My roommates and I have been living at Cantera for about five months now, and we are loving our place! When we were first looking around for places to live back in April, we had driven by Cantera and decided to stop by. We were welcomed by Hannin in the office, and she was super informative and welcoming. She offered to let us look at one of the model layouts, and we fell in love. She mentioned some of the amenities (a 24 hour pool!) and that helped us make our choice even easier. Hannin had given us her business card to answer any questions after we left. By the end of the day we had put in an application. She answered the phone and emails quickly. When it came time to move in Hannin informed us that she would be off that day, but that someone else, Coy, would be helping us move in to our new place,. Once move in day arrived, we arrived the moment the office opened. We were greeted by Coy who was going to help us move in. She gave us the keys and a little welcome goody bag. She walked us around the apartment to ensure everything was what it was supposed to be, and let us ask any questions we had. The office is super responsive, we recently welcomed in a puppy and they gave us the information that was needed to welcome our puppy in, and they love seeing his face when passing by the office. The location of the apartments is great as well. Close to many restaurants and close the freeway which is convenient. We are happy we made the choice of living at Cantera, and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great place to live at an affordable price. read more
