Yoka and Fredrick on the ends. Great host and hostess! Felt like home.

Yoka and Fredrick our host and hostess were wonderful. Felt like we were home. The home is lovely with great ambiance. Food was fabulous. We were hooked on the Dutch coffee Yoka made for us. Lovely people and cozy placed to stay. Our rooms were large and had all the comforts. Close to town and wine tasting. We would stay again. Had a "girls vacation" with wine tasting and restaurant hopping. Great place!

The hostess is very sweet and the property is very convenient (easily walkable) to downtown Carlton. If you're not staying in an Airbnb/VRBO, this is definitely your best bet. If you're a BNB skeptic, as I am, I can assure you that I found this inn to be very clean and the linens and towels were lovely. Rooms with and without an attached bath are available. A good value for your money.

The food was delicately prepared & beautifully displayed, but I would like to talk about another special & unique "touch." I am retired, and was traveling alone. Joka very kindly called to check on me when she noticed I was a bit late getting back to Lil' Suzi. Who does that? Who cares about someone they have never met before and makes the extra effort to check the welfare of their guest out of the goodness of their hearts? Joka does, and I was very touched.

What a great little home for a B&B. From the shiny and warm wood floors, to the lovely antique furnishings - it was very comfy and cozy staying here. But, when we got into our bed, the sheets, the sheets, were dreamy and soft as a baby's skin or is it a kitten? Hokey I know, but true all the same! I actually ended up ordering some of my own sheets! It was either that or stealing them right off her bed! The bed itself also was very luxurious. The walls are NOT paper thin so we did not hear anyone though their room was right next door to ours. The location is on the same street as all those wine tasting places so we could walk on home after we were through imbibing all that lovely and heady wine we drank. And in the morning, fresh coffee, homemade and local blueberry scones, local pears/peaches/berries, homemade organic yogurt and granola, organic vegetarian fritatta with local basil, veggies topped off with black chocolate cherry tomatoes. Not only is Karen a wonderful cook but she makes you feel instantly comfortable in her B&B.

Wonderful everything! This is a little gem of a place. A gracious host, cute little doggy (Maggie), great breakfasts, a comfy bed, and just all the perfect little touches!

We loved our two night stay at the Carlton Inn. A perfect location for enjoying all Carlton attractions. The Inn is charming, our room was beautiful and so comfortable. Inn keeper Joka is a delight. From the warm welcome, to the engaging company, to the most comfortable bed, and toiletries, to a spectacular breakfast. We did not want to leave.

But above all else, the hospitality from Joka, the Innkeeper, is what makes this B&B so spectacular.

Even though it is called the Lavender suite, the room's color decor is more into blues. It was nicely furnished with a comfortable king size bed. There was a sitting area with a table and chairs as well as a loveseat. The house had air conditioning as well as a fan in the room for those nights you would rather have the windows open. The room has a nice large private bathroom with both a jetted tub and a glass enclosed shower stall with bath products provided. There is a small fridge (think dorm room size) outside your room in the common area on the second floor. Wi-fi is provided. Parking is on the street, but as the house is on a corner lot, you have plenty of spaces on the two streets. The town is small, 3000+ people. The nearest tasting room is about 2 blocks away and Main Street (restaurants and more tasting rooms) is another block further along. The location was great for Carlton. Of course, the breakfasts were the attraction. I mean, that's why you stay at a B&B. Started off with a fresh fruit plate, followed by nuts, raisins, and cheese, then a main dish of eggs or French toast, depending on the day. Mike does a good job of presentation for his dishes. I left the table feeling full, ready for a day of wine tasting. Mike and Roselyn run an efficient B&B. We were happy with our stay.

Every last detail has been taken care of!…read more The warmth and charm of the inn is second only to that of its staff. We were greeted with friendly smiles from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The decor has a classy rustic vibe and everything is high quality and very comfortable. There are many different places to sit and take in the views, both inside and outside. The room accommodations are outstanding. The linens are luxurious, and pretty. The room is fresh and ultra clean (even in the corners!). There's a beautiful tasting room on property, a cozy/casual cellar bar, and an award-winning restaurant with a 10 course prix fixe dining experience. The views of the vineyard, lavender bushes and valley are straight out of a storybook! The pics we saw online ahead of time don't do this property justice-no picture could. We cannot wait to come back!

We were greeted at the desk by Ryan with a glass of their sister winery's rose and then proceeded on a tour of the inn. It is a small boutique inn with only about 18 rooms total. I believe while we were there, there may have been maybe 4-5 other couples (that we only saw at breakfast). It is just a lovely place with a sitting room with a huge fireplace, a quaint breakfast room, and several patio areas with fire pits overlooking the valley. One firepit stays on all the time (already I was excited to "need" a firepit in August!). Ryan then walked us across the entryway to a separate smaller building and into our room which was the Deluxe Valley View room...with glass doors that opened directly onto a sweet little patio with adirondack chairs and table overlooking the vineyard. We spent every morning here drinking tea before breakfast and most evenings here drinking wine before bed. And speaking of breakfast! Every morning was a treat...several options you can choose from, mix and match your pastry with your fresh fruit with your main dish with your beverage with your coffee, all a great way to bellywad before a day of wine tastings! Do yourself a favor and get the SCONE every morning! I discovered that sadly on my last day :( All of the staff were super sweet and accommodating. The room was beautiful and the bed was comfy! But that view tho! Makes me want to submit a resume!
