The hotel has a very Victorian vibe with a hint of haunted house and I absolutely love it. Our room was beautiful! It was a little bit hot to sit in the common area room as it was about the upper 80s in Wheeler that weekend, which made the room pretty hot, but it was no big deal. Our room had AC. So many pictures to look at on the walls, a cute little gift shop when you check in, and the bed was so comfortable. Honestly, that's usually my biggest gripe at places is a super uncomfortable bed, this one was absolutely perfect! And the huge antique mall right next-door, we spent hours in there and found so many treasures ! Absolutely will be coming back!

Peaceful Stay with a Great Host…read more We had a wonderful stay at Raines Resort and loved Cabin C2. The cabin was clean, cozy, and very well equipped, with a comfortable bed, a full kitchen, a fridge/freezer that was especially useful for our fishing trip, Wi-Fi, and bathroom essentials. It truly felt like a home away from home. The river right outside the cabin was beautiful, and the dock was easy to access. Hong even provided fishing poles and bait, which made it easy to fish whenever we wanted. We also enjoyed meeting other guests on the dock, which added to the warm, relaxed atmosphere. The resort is close to the beach but still far enough from the crowds to offer the peace and quiet we were looking for. Hong was an outstanding host and made our trip even better with his local tips and recommendations during Dory Days festival that was happening the same weekend. He was always available if we needed anything, even after my partner forgot the door code and accidentally set off the alarm. This place was recommended by the charter company we booked our fishing trip with, and I'm so glad we stayed here. I highly recommend Raines Resort for a relaxing, stress-free getaway, and we'll definitely be back.

My husband, our little girl dog and I decided to stay at Raines Resort for one night before we drive up to visit the Tillamook Creamery (which is ~ 35 minutes away but is cheaper staying here than some of the other hotels closer). If you make a booking online directly through Raines Resort's website, it is cheaper and there is also a small discount if you stay 2 nights or more. We stayed in C3, one of their cabins that has a wonderful view of the river (just steps from your balcony). What is really nice about this cabin is that there is also a kitchen, which is something we really wanted so that we could cook our meal and also a meal for our little girl (yes we primarily cook all of our meals for her). It is nice that the kitchen has dishware, utensils, cookware, coffee, etc. But you would have to bring your own cooking oil and seasoning. There is also a full size fridge that has a freezer, which is greatly appreciated because from other hotels that we have stayed in, although there is a mini fridge, the mini fridge doesn't have a freezer and we have things that we would like to freeze (ice packs and also like to freeze bottled water to keep our food items cold in our cooler). There is a parking spot that you can park right in front of your cabin, which makes for easy loading and unloading. The bed we had was nice and comfortable. The place itself was clean. The bathroom was small though but was fine for our stay. Prior to our stay, Hong (the manager and possibly the owner?) contacted me via text message to ask me if I knew what time I would be arriving. I had told him that it would most likely be after the office is closed since we were on a road trip. He told me that it wouldn't be a problem and gave me the door code to get in and also said that he was going to be out of town so that most likely we would not meet him. But he was very good at checking in with me via text message, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, we all really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again when passing through this part of Oregon.

Now let's talk about the room, clean? No... immaculately pressed. Easily the cleanest hotel room we've ever stayed in. Everything felt dialed in, like every detail hit its note perfectly. Location? Right on track. Price? A total steal and it's like finding a rare vinyl in the bargain bin. Parking? Smooth and easy, no scratches on this record. And the staff... nothing but good vibes. The man staffing the office when I checked in on a Thursday night was really nice. Not in a forced way, nor did he seem like he was tired that he does this every day. He was truly kind, relaxed, helpful and informative. And there was a lot of information to give. The record library that you can borrow from is extensive, I barely scratched the surface (not of the records of course!). Having the update of a door code instead of keys was nice. The rooms were generous in size and had everything we needed - desk for piling my stuff on, TV, single serve coffee maker, two beds, bathroom, mini fridge and microwave. Couple notes that really don't count against the place but just to make one aware - the beds felt like maybe they weren't quite queen sized but almost full sized? I don't know, I couldn't figure it out but then again, I haven't slept in a queen in awhile. But they were comfortable. Also, where the coffee maker was, on the desk under the TV, there were no outlets. Two blank outlet covers under the desk and the outlet being taken up for the TV but no outlet for the coffee maker. I ended up putting it on a nightstand. Works fine, just a weird thing. I really loved the faux-vintage mini fridges and in some rooms, matching microwaves. Location of this hotel is great, you can walk to most things quite easily. No sidewalks, but that's ok. I would stay here again!

We stayed in #103. It's all self-serviced. I didn't need to contact anyone as instructions were given in the booking on Vacasa. Rooms were spacious. The bedding seemed mostly clean. Not sure if the top blankets were washed since there were some marks/stains. It was nice having basic toiletries equipped with a fridge and microwave. We didn't use any other amenities in the room. Bathroom was well ventilated and had hot water, plus a bathtub. For the value and location, it does offer the best price in the area if you book in advance.

Sea Treasures Inn #209…read more The internet connection is very, very bad. Reception is weak and fluctuating and drops completely throughout day and night. This includes tv reception. The placard outside says Vacasa and has phone number. Call the number and you will be re-directed to VRBO and Casago, but the room was bought via Expedia. All communication must be via text or email with Casago. You cannot enter your room without doing the online pre-check-in. Only then will you get the 10-digit entry code for your room. There is no staff on the property. No lobby. No breakfast, coffee, brochures. Very weirdly minimal. The room, bedding, and towels were all clean. Beds comfortable. Unfortunately, there were some issues. Bug in coffee maker. Coffee maker power cord too short and no convenient outlets nearby. Had to put the coffee maker in the sink in order to make coffee. That was the only outlet close enough to plug in the coffee maker without moving furniture around. Our room had two queen beds. So, potentially, the room could have up to four people. There was one chair for the room. Towel rod holder. Why no towel rod? No hand soap for bathroom. Power outlet next to bed was so loose, gravity won't allow a power cord to stay in it. So can't charge phone or anything else. They want a prompt 10am check out, but don't even provide a clock in the room. Bathroom door sticks badly. Handle nearly non-functional. But it's cheap, a block from the beach, and across the street from shops and restaurants. If this multitude of little things won't bother you, then you should have a great time.

More than I have ever seen in any one place. I assume that people feed them because they were not shy about coming right up to the camper and smelling us. There is a little market right at the front of this campsite that was fully stocked and had everything you could possibly imagine. It was $10 to buy a bundle of firewood and we enjoyed building a fire outside at our site. This place was definitely a little pricier than some other nearby areas, but in my opinion it was well worth it. The showers and bathrooms were clean and the views of the beach right from the site were spectacular. Give them a shot!
