Lynn and Kay were very professional when they came to service my home/office. They were punctual, efficient and very organized in the way they attacked my stains (pet and wax). Do not use this company!! They quote $150 to me for my 3 bedrooms and stairs. When Paul Rabe came out he said it would be $375!!. Bait and Switch much?? We had moved everything, vacuumed and taken time to be home! They obviously do this to get in the door and assume you will go along with it! We have been using The Carpet Butler for many years, while it has gone from one owner to another due to retirements. Lynn Kuehn, present owner, is the best yet! She not only loves what she is doing, she is very skillful at it. After her last cleaning here, she announced that she had added another ten years to our off-white carpet purchased in 2003! We had not used Carpet Butler since ownership changed a few years ago. We did try another company last fall but even though the service was good, the carpet didn't seem to get as clean using eco friendly cleaners or maybe it was the process itself. We called Carpet Butler. I thought the estimate was fair but others may think it too high. One person did the job. She arrived within the time range. She took the time to explain the processShe scrubbed two areas that were very soiled because of foot traffic. We were very pleased with the results. The area rugs and carpeting look and feel cleaner. I highly recommend the Carpet Butler. My Realtor recommended them and I am very pleased with their quality of service. I had them clean 3 area rugs and my sofa. These area rugs were heavily soiled thanks to my dogs. The service guy that came - Paul - arrived on time, and was courteous and professional. He put covers over his shoes before he came into the house and dressed professionally. Not only did he do an excellent job on cleaning my carpets, he took the time to explain how to properly clean up doggie messes, and explained how to properly clean my travertine floors. We have used the Carpet Butler and it's predecessor, Royal Carpet, for many years and have always been willing to pay the price for a first rate professional cleaning. Our feeling is that you get what you pay for. They give you the cost, up front, based on square footage. There are no hidden add ons unless you want them to apply a carpet protector which is a separate charge. They also give you the option of having the carpet protector just applied to certain areas and scale the charge accordingly. We opted to have the protector applied to only the stairs. Two sisters have taken over the carpet and upholstery cleaning so this was our first experience with them. Only one of the two sisters was available on our scheduled day, but Lynn showed up on time, set to work and cleaned a living room, hallway, master bedroom, second bedroom, hallway and stairs in our town home. She accomplished this in about two hours even though she was working on her own. She worked fast and efficiently and the carpets look great. Lynn was very pleasant, knowledgeable and low key. No hard sell. She also gave us some estimates on cleaning a couple of pieces of living room furniture, as well as some tips for fabric selection if we decided to reupholster instead. We continue to be happy with The Carpet Butler and would highly recommend them. read more

We have been a customer of the Carpet Butler for many years - from before when Bob Kong owned it and now under Len Marsh's excellent ownership. They have always provided great carpet cleaning - now the customer service is even more responsive, and Lynn performs miracles on our carpet stains and traffic patterns. She works incredibly hard and the results are superb, the carpets look almost new again when she's done. Their process doesn't leave icky residues on the carpets, and they continue to stay clean a long time - at least until our dog comes in with muddy paws! Every time I wait too long to call them, and tell myself i should have them clean the carpets more often - it's an excellent value and makes our home look more polished. I love having such nice clean carpets when Lynn is finished with them. She's also really pleasant to work with, very accommodating and careful with our furniture. I called Carpet Butler on recommendation from of a friend. She told me that her carpets seemed to stay clean longer but..they were a bit expensive. I called on a Wednesday. DeeDee, of Carpet Butler, just had a cancellation for Friday. Lynn came within the window quoted. I was so impressed with her work! She took the time to explain the process; what the machine could do and what it couldn't do. After pretreating the stairs, she proceeded to scrub them with a giant brush. Then she used the machine!!!
