Come with me to Buffalo Breakfast Co., located in Sevierville, Tennessee. I was looking for a breakfast spot in the area and came across Buffalo Breakfast Co. Their menu caught my attention. To drink, I had their Cowboy Cold Brew with pumpkin spice creamer. This was a delightful cold brew. To start, I tried their Goat Cheese & Peach Biscuits, served with strawberry jalapeño jam. They were fluffy and good, but the jam didn't complement them well; it was more bitter and runnier. Their menu has many great options. It took me a minute to decide. Thanks to my server's suggestion, I went with the Mountain Hash: smoked pork, fried taters, caramelized onions, jalapenos, two eggs, and BBQ aioli. The pork was nice and tender, the eggs were fully cooked, and the potatoes were perfectly cooked and seasoned, but the BBQ aioli was the star, tying everything together with flavor. Overall, I loved Buffalo Breakfast Co. It was excellent. The service was attentive and kind, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was charming. The mountain hash was pretty good. However, my wife had a blueberry muffin and she did not feel. It tasted very good. While everything looked fresh, she thought there was kind of a chemically mass baked taste. I ordered extra toast, and imagine my surprise when it came with no butter. Just a dry toast.. how was the tossup whether or not I was going to give three stars or four stars in this review. However, I will say the coffee was outstanding. The waitress made sure my coffee cup was full at all times, and I appreciated that. I even went out to my car to get my large coffee cup so I could drink more of the coffee even as we left. read more

It was our first time at Buffalo Breakfast and it didn't disappoint. We went on a Saturday around brunch time and it was such a relief they had a mobile wait list to essentially make us wait for a shorter time since it was quite busy. When we went inside, we were welcomed by the staff and sat down at our table. Our waitress was attentive even with the restaurant being so busy. We shared the fried deviled eggs and it was perfect....crispy and had a good flavor. Our table got the stuffed french toast breakfast platter, bayou omelettes and country fried steak. Decided to check this spot out for breakfast after seeing pictures of some of their food online. Parking was a bit difficult as the lot across the street was full with several other drivers circling for a spot like us. I went in and it took about 4 minutes before I was acknowledged and directed to bar for a to go order placement. I had tried calling to place order but phone call never went thru to restaurant. The server at bar took my order quickly and got me checked out. The meals I saw people eating looked tasty and enough food for one person. The restaurant has a chill vibe and it could be good for groups to dine. The food was just ok. Nothing to write home about and I wouldn't go out of my way to return. The food and service were great. The reason for only 3 stars has to do with the amount of waiting to eat and use the restrooms. It seems they have outgrown their space. My party of 3 joined the online waiting list at 10:45 while we were driving to the location. The wait was 1hr & 30mins and there were 30 parties in line in front of us. In all my time of traveling and dining in at popular spots; this spot was one of the longest waits I've ever seen. Once we were finally seated after waiting over an hour, the service moved smoothly and we got our food and drinks in a timely manner. It was all very delicious. After we ate, the line for the restroom was absurd. There are only 2 public bathrooms and we had to wait in line for 10+ mins. Would I come back? Maybe. This is a beautiful restaurant. I had the ham benny and it was delicious. My boyfriend had the Deep South waffle and he found it average. He said it needed more sausage. His son had an average eggs and toast. The eggs he ordered were supposed to be over easy but they were practically hard but he loved the jelly. My boyfriend's favorite thing was the coffee. We heard that this place had reopened as a breakfast venue in Downtown Sevierville where Trotters BBQ once was. We must've come in during the most busy brunch having hour on a sunny Saturday in early February 11am. We waited a few mins and they were kind at the host stand to take our number and text us when the table was ready. There are several retail shops and a Graze burgers next door. So we relaxed at Graze for a brunch-tail justified at that hour as it was my birthday. We finished up and headed back for our table. David our server was a pro, kind, knowledgeable and made sure to check on ingredients that my gluten sensitive wife needs to avoid in order to enjoy a meal out on the town. We started with the raspberry scone with lemon glaze. It was light and went nicely with coffee to split. She opted for the smoked salmon benny and I added fried chicken to the vegetarian benny and it was dynamite. It would've been great without the fried chicken. But "when in Rome"! The place was hopping and it looks like first come first served. The menu resembles an upscale Cracker Barrel with fresh options up and down. I could easily see myself eating two days in a row here and getting something deliciously different each time. They also have boozy breakfast options and a tiny bar to sneak in if you don't mind a quieter spot. I caught up with an old friend on my way to the bathroom, odd are you'll run into someone you know in this small town. Having worked in this small downtown for many years, it's very satisfying to see the diversity of places that you can find now in a a walkable area. With everything from Spas, beauty stores, great breakfast, burgers, Italian nightlife, a premier seafood restaurant, and some lovely retail shops and barbers. I think they said this place just opened 2 days ago! We arrived early enough and were seated right away! The staff were very pleasant! I ordered the sausage empanada which was excellent! The biggest problem we had in eating here was finding parking. If you have no luck drive a block down to Case hardware and there was an empty parking lot we were able to use. Once you get in, the place is very clean and simply styled. There is a canoe with lights dropped out of it that is really cool. We got a mixture of things and most were excellent. The chicken and waffles were a hit and the fried green tomatoes sandwich as well. I got the Ham Benny, there take on Eggs Benedict but the thick piece of ham made it a bit hard to cut and enjoy. Looking for a great breakfast spot on our way home from our mountain retreat and found this gem along the way. Rainy and dreary outside but warm and inviting inside. Greeted quickly and sat just as fast. Great coffee- couldn't hardly decide on what to eat... but ultimately went with the stuffed french toast along with scrambled eggs, home fries, bacon and sausage. My husband decided on the country fried steak and eggs. Both were delicious!! The french toast was divine and everything else was really delicious! So happy to have happened on to this one! BF had the Bloody Mary and said it was very good. I had a mimosa which was good- we wanted to try the cowboy coffee but needed to drive home. Having heard fabulous things plus seen 2 local vloggers rave about this new place, plus heard it was packed, I headed down around 8am with my friend to share all the delicious looking treats I've seen online. Sadly, it wasn't their day. We ordered mimosas, of which they have several listed, but were told they were out of sparkling wine. So we changed to a Spicy Bloody Mary. The bloody mary mix is bottled and local to TN but extremely dark brown and off-putting. Just order the regular one. We also ordered a whiskey blackberry sour. It was very good but were told they were out of the bitters that go in it. Still delicious. Get it. Get a few. Next we ordered Raspberry Scones but were told they were out. So we tried the biscuits with strawberry jalapeno jam. Please look at the restaurant's food photos on Google, Reviews, as I wasnt able to take photos. $7.99 and 3 biscuits came out the size of a 50 cent piece each, with a bowl of orange colored sauce that was good but certainly not what one would call Strawberry Jalapeno Jam. I know you are thinking, No way! ...but yes, they are teeny tiny biscuit bites. Three. On a large plate. Not even the equivelant of one full biscuit if combined. Also not fully baked inside. They had a nice glaze tho. Is this normal or a mistake in baking the biscuits? I think its normal since others posted photos on Google of similar. $7.99??? Then we tried the Chicken & Waffles. Pretty standard but the chicken was dark brown. Someone fried it too long and still served it. Dry. Then we tried the Peach Waffle. Berries inside with a raspberry sauce drizzle and brandied peaches. Very few berries, very thin coulis, and peaches that didnt taste brandied but its possible they were. We just didnt pick up that flavor. This was the one we were really excited about bcuz it looked so amazing online, and it just didnt seem prepared the same. The honey marscapone scoop on top looked like butter when it melted into the waffle but was sweet and good. I needed the maple syrup served on the side. The server was fun and enjoying the job. Had to check with the kitchen but its new, so no issues. I'm going to wait awhile until they are solidly on their feet. I really want to try the food the way it looked like it was prepared opening week. One of us was given a soup spoon, one was given a long iced tea spoon when we asked for spoons. Just a slight training thing. We saw 4 tables while there. The rest were empty. I think it's possible they were still recovering from a busy first couple weeks. The manager wasnt in the dining room but we did observe him making drinks at the bar. I would probably sit at the small bar next time if there was a bartender staffed there. Good view of the kitchen. There are also high top counters at the window with barstools. Parking is on the street for free. Lots of pay lot options in town as well as a lot across the street that may be free, I didnt see any pay signage. Restaurant is on the same block as the Appalachian Bistro. read more
