Denise is a trim, very strong woman. She gave me a deep tissue massage. It was very deep and very wonderful! She found places that had knots and hurt that I didn't realize. She did a great job mending my body. Denise is a Licensed Massage Therapist. Her massage room is spotless and pleasant. It is located in her house in a residential area. She had a number of candles burning. We had quite a lively conversation while she was giving me the massage. The draping towel is quite small. I had a 60 minute Swedish Massage with Elle at Body of Needs Spa yesterday and have finally found my new MT and Spa home!! The experience begins with being welcomed by their delightful receptionist who offered me water and had me fill out their very detailed intake form that asks everything from specific areas of focus, lotion or oil preference, amount of pressure and all the things your MT needs to tailor your massage. Elle came out to get me and brought me in to a very tranquil treatment room. There is a whiteboard on the wall and Elle used it to note where I wanted her to focus, any thing that was important to me for my massage and then she stepped out so that I could undress. As she started the massage, the pressure was a little lighter than I wanted so I told her and she immediately adjusted. She really worked on my problem areas and gave a great full body massage!! I'm a little sore today, but in the best possible way!! I immediately scheduled my next appointment with Elle as soon as I got in the car; a 90 minute this time,. Their online booking makes it so easy to book, reschedule, or cancel your appointment. Needless to say Elle and Body of Needs are my new go to!!

However, when I contacted the merchant, and referenced the new client one hour massage on his website for $40, he told me I'd owe an additional $20. That makes a massage $65, not $40. His response was "Yes, but I do not even get 1/2 of what the groupon is sold for. The $20 brings the total that I get paid up to the new client special." That's so SHADY. This therapist is the one who chose to go through Groupon. I did not force him to advertise on Groupon. He knew what he would make on each Groupon, and still go ahead with selling the Groupons. You make a choice, you need to live with it, not penalize your potential clients. So now, I will never be a client. And I will tell all of my friends not to be clients. Because no one wants to get ripped off by a greedy person who was happy to use Groupon to get advertising for his business, but not actually happy to follow their rules. Certainly, I don't think I should have to pay $25 extra for my massage over the advertised new client price, simply because the therapist now regrets his advertising choices. So, I contacted Groupon and they gave me my money back. So I've been made whole (thanks only to Groupon), but wanted to be sure to warn all potential customers about this therapist's suspect business practices. If you've already purchased a Groupon, don't even attempt to use it, just contact Groupon to get your money back!!
