I live in Denver and had my first chance to visit the Centurion Lounge (always fly out of terminal B) so it's not easy to get here for me. The space is nice, large in comparison to a lot of other Centurion lounges I've been too. I got there as they were moving to lunch from breakfast so the breakfast food was meh, probably on it's way out. Service was great, everyone who worked there was nice. Note, no feet on the furniture. There was some going around to everyone with their feet on seats. read more

The Centurion Lounge by Amex is always a pleasant stop when at the Denver Airport. I have been there during both breakfast and dinner hours and have not been disappointed. This was my first visit to an airport lounge. I have to say, it is a nicer option than visiting a restaurant or grab and go. The Centurion Lounge is located in the Southwest terminal at gate 46. There are escalators in the middle of the concourse. The lounge is pretty large as it expands the full width of the concourse. There is a bar at one end, the buffet and food on one side then seating all around. The seats are spacious and more comfortable than chairs at the gate. We didn't get anything from the bar, however we thought we would get a bite to eat from the buffet. We were there during breakfast. There was quite a nice selection of options. Oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, biscuits, croissants, sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns, kielbasa, muffins and pastries. After making a plate of eggs, sausage and hashbrowns, my first thought was the food could be hotter. The food was more on the warm side than hot. The eggs were probably powdered eggs. I did enjoy both the kielbasa and hash browns. I had a blueberry muffin that was packed with blueberries. For those of you that have seen Casino, whenever I have a blueberry muffin, it reminds me of that scene from Casino. There are also several beverage options. Orange juice, tea, coffee, etc. Overall a much nicer option to pass the time between flights or before a flight. read more

I was lectured by Courtney for "cross contaminating" in the buffet line. I committed the unthinkable by using the tongs for croissants to pick up a biscuit. The condescension and head shake were a perfect start to my experience at what is consistently a poor performing Centurion Lounge. By the way Courtney, croissants and biscuits are both bread products made with essentially the same ingredients you fucking moron. read more

We went soon after they opened. Getting in the lounge was fine and we were able to get a small table. Our issue was the bar. My husband went to get me a glass of sparkling wine and a beer for himself. They would only give him 1 drink. I went back to get him a beer and was served. A little while later he tried to get a soda and they gave him a hard time. We're flying out of DCA on Tuesday and we'll see if it is the same or we'll head to the AA lounge. read more

It's lovely, if you have enough time to get in. I fly southwest a lot, so I'm always in the C terminal, which makes this lounge is super convenient. The food and drinks are exceptional. The space itself is beautiful, with great seating, a pool table, and wonderful views of the airplanes coming and going. However, the wait times feel quite long this year in particular. Even with 30-60 min to kill each visit, and checking in via the app early (not sure if that really does anything), I make it past the line ~40% of the time. When it comes to the service - the bar and food service staff and wonderful!! The front desk staff probably deal with a lot... The lounge closes at 10 but seems to have a "soft close" at 9/9:30. I went there a little before 9:30 and the bar was closed, showers closed, just leftover deserts out. read more

This was my first time in this lounge and I was pleased with the many gluten free items they had! It's located in concourse C by gate C46, up the escalator. It's one of the bigger Centurions I've been to, but even so we had a 30 min wait to get in. Once we gained admittance, the place was not at all to capacity with tons of seating available, so not sure what the wait was all about. I really liked the rectangular design with the windows letting you see through to the other side. The bar at the far end was large with lots of easy access and I loved the multiple stations for the buffet which effectively reduced lines. We happened to be there during a meal change (go us) and got to enjoy both breakfast (which included gf waaaaafffllles!) and lunch. I had several options for each meal making it a stark difference to the Seattle location that recently told me they "no longer cater" to dietary restrictions of their clients. We had a bit of an issue with the bar but did enjoy the drinks. We were at a table right next to the bar and trying to limit getting up and moving around due to covid restrictions. I took both our ID's up and ordered drinks no problem (my husband was easily visible for ID check since we were seated by the bar). Later my husband did the same and the bartender (different person) refused to give him both drinks telling him he had to walk one drink at a time to the table. Seemed unnecessary given their request for people to limit moving around. Other than that irritation and the long wait to get in, this is a great new addition to DEN. read more

Since the check in counter to this lounge is located on the top of the escalator, there was a person at the base of the escalator kind of gate keeping. She was pretty grouchy and when a person walked up with a question, she directed her answer to him at us at the front of the line. Turns out what she said was totally incorrect though. She mentioned that once you get to the counter, there was a 30 minute waitlist that you have to go through before entering the lounge. But when we actually reached the check in counter, we were able to go right into the lounge. Busy lounge but it is pretty spacious and we had no problems finding a table for 2. The buffet was one of the better ones I've encountered and I actually enjoyed the food here. There was also a little snack bar with baggies for you to fill up and take so that was a nice little perk. read more

Very rude staff at the front check-in desk today (9/13/25 PM). I dropped my sunglasses and sitter bottle and one of them laughed and said "wow you make quite an entrance dropping things" and then they all laughed and looked at each other. I turned around and left. No offer to help as I tried to make sure my water bottle didn't roll down the escalator. Very surprising for AMEX. read more

First time at the DIA location and thought the lounge was the typical Centurion lounge vibes, food, drinks, full bar and some comfortable seating. Great place to relax and grab a bite before your flight. I took away 1 stars because the lounge is extremely crowded, you'll find a place to sit but not without circling around to scope the entire place out for a spot. Snacks were all over the place, not all in a general serving area. Which would not be much of a problem if snacks were consistently the same in each area, but you'll find different snacks in different areas. The layout is also a racetrack, reminded me too much of an office :) overall, a good lounge to hide in before you board. read more

I really enjoyed this new lounge! It was full when I got there but they had a well-organized waitlist system. I only waited about 10 minutes before getting a text saying they were ready for me. I expected the lounge to be crazy packed like I've experienced at a couple other centurion lounges but they kept it comfortable, there was plenty of space and seating. Tons of food options at this one! And two bars. Plus showers. It didn't appear so from the outside, but inside it felt quite spacious. Excited to come back through. read more

I love the lounge when I have time the only challenges it's typically pretty hard to get into the times that I'm passing through so a lot of times I do not get in because line is so long a couple times when I do get in when it's busy it is pretty jampacked but when I do get in service is great everything is good and I'm grateful for it read more

The Centurion Lounge is not as exclusive as it once was, though with their new guest rules, it is less crowded... though as a family man that does make it harder traveling with the little ones. Their entry policy aside, this location is great for me personally, since I prefer to travel on Southwest for domestic flights, and it is located in the heart of the SW terminal (C Gates). The check-in went very quickly, and with less crowds inside, I was able to find a table fairly quickly. However, someone did leave their drinks and the waitstaff did not get a chance to clear it off (and they never did while I was there ~45min). The food was quite delicious, and I was able to fill up on a full lunch. The bar well stocked and the bar tender kept things moving very quickly. Of all the Centurion Lounges I've been too, this one fell right on ok. The terminal location is great, but the limited waitstaff to clear the table was a bit off putting for something that's supposed to feel more exclusive/luxurious. But, I cannot complain with having a semi-private space to relax, enjoy free food and drinks. read more

My boyfriend just got an Amex and we had to make a trip to the lounge on our short layover. We only had about 45 minutes there so tried to get some food in before checking out the place (also because they were going to be taking out the food soon). Really really good options on there. There was a glazed pork, corn polenta, sausage and chicken pasta, egg salad focaccia ( This one took me by surprise) And of course the salad. That pork was really perfectly cooked and I found it hard to stop. The charred outsides were perfect! I took a simple salad with balsamic vinaigrette and even that was amazing. I wish I had taken some more of that salad to go with the pork. It was a good amount of shaved parmesan on there too and it all went really well. I also really loved that egg salad focaccia. Egg salad tasted so good by itself and went perfectly with the focaccia too. Really creative here! The dessert options were also exquisite. And Almond Cookie Bar, Peach Shortcake and Banoffee Tart. I didn't try any of them but my boyfriend just loved them. I tasted some of the base for the shortcake and it was so soft! I bet it went really well with those Peaches and the Cream on top. The Banoffee Tart also looked amazing! So pretty as well. We only got quick glimpse of the entire space before leaving but it was so good! Plenty of seating. And office workspace area, board games, a pool table if I remember right. Two fancy bars, a lot of cozy spots.. all very sleek and cozy! I can't wait to go back for longer! read more

Go up the escalators for access to the lounge - then you can sit upstairs in the windows and look down on the common folk while sipping your shot of beet immunity juice. Platinum card holders no longer get the +1 guest access (unless you spend $75K in a year on your card??) - it now comes with a $50 charge which is not worth it. It does not seem that these lounges are getting any less crowded though. This one was pretty nice and the freshly made omelettes / frittatas hit the spot. I liked the layout of this lounge with areas for the business traveler and areas for the families that need to spread out. read more

I have both a corporate and personal platinum card and have been a member for over 20 years. I was turned away just after landing because my flight wasn't within a 3 hour period? The hostess mentioned she made a mistake in inputting my ticket info and then I was told I couldn't enter the lounge because of my ticket, which I found really odd. I was just using the lounge to wait for a travel companion for 10 minutes so I didn't care all that much. But not a good welcome to Denver. read more

I think the coolest flying experience I've ever had was when I got called upon to provide medical care to someone who had fainted in the middle of a Southwest flight. The vast majority of the time though, my flights suck. Today was no different. After sustaining a weekend of self-induced ass kicking from repeatedly falling on my snowboard at Vail, I was physically checked-out by the time I hit Denver International. TSA looked less like an organized line and more like a flood of refugees waiting at border patrol, desperate to escape some unknown threat like war or famine or the impending zombie apocalypse. After waiting in the TSA pre-check line for 45 minutes and still not making it to the front, I think the bald guy in front me summarized it perfectly; "Today's a shit show." Yes. Yes it was. It's moments like these where an airport lounge can turn a crappy experience into a slightly less crappy experience. For the last year or so, I've flown with Delta and hopped between their lounges, leaving with mostly good impressions. But I heard fables from friends that AMEX lounges were the cream of the crop, the premier elite. If I went, would an AMEX lounge butler dressed like the Monopoly man greet me with a platter of hors d'oeuvres on my first visit? I'm not sure; the imagination runs wild when you're waiting in line for 45 minutes. Getting there, however, is easier said than done. From my prior experience, it can be geographically difficult to hit AMEX lounges if you're on a domestic flight as they're often secluded within international terminals. This Denver location is great, however, because you can use the in-airport shuttle to ferry between the 3 different terminals at Denver without having to go through TSA again. The AMEX lounge is all the way in the back at terminal C (same terminal as Southwest). Unfortunately when I arrived there was a small line of other folks waiting to get in. I imagine Denver is a large hub for connecting flights throughout the US, so expect higher volume at this lounge. Just flash them your card and you're in, although you no longer get free access for up to 2 guests (it's $50 now). You take a set of escalators to get to the second floor, where the lounge is located. The lounge is arranged like an outside square, with the middle surrounded by windows that look down into the actual terminal. If the front desk is at the top of the square, then to your immediate left is where you'll find food and seating. To your right will be the bathrooms/showers and more seating, and at the bottom of the square is where the bar is located. The food offerings for breakfast that morning were slightly better than what I would normally get with Delta. Notably they had some chef-inspired pastries and a really good chocolate oatmeal served in its own baby cup. However, the bathrooms were a little dated and in general, it's just not a big lounge. I didn't have to fight for any seating, but it did feel tight. I did enjoy they had a coffee stand at the exit so you could take some Joe to-go on your flight, although you do have to request for a to-go cup in advance at the bar. I was flying Delta that day, so I don't know if I would go out of my way to hit this AMEX lounge again, although it would be a different story if I were flying Southwest. BTW, there were no AMEX lounge butlers when I went. Myth debunked. Enjoy, and don't be late for your flight! read more

Sitting here waiting 50th in the waiting list to enter the Centurion Lounge and wondering why we pay so much for two gold and two platinum cards. When and if we finally get in, we will be met with well worn furniture, food that is mostly for foreign travelers, getting carded every time you order a drink even when you're almost 60, and can only have one drink at a time even if you are with your companion. Amex oversells this product that gives you very few truly good benefits. The lounge was one of them but those days are gone too. AMEX needs to take some of the mammoth profit that they make from us on these cards and build a bigger lounge or put more than one lounge in the airport. This is sad and ridiculous. read more

After a few trips flying out from Denver International Airport, I finally came early enough and remembered to stop by The Centurion Lounge (located above Gate C46- look for the escalator to take up to the second floor). It's highly recommended that you go into the app and reserve your spot (they'll hold it for 30 minutes at a time). The lounge was super busy at 4pm on a Tuesday (even though the rest of the airport was actually not as crowded as I've seen it), but there were still seats available throughout. I thought the shape of this lounge was interesting, and it was in the shape of a square with tons of windows throughout. There was plenty of food available, and they even had a freshly made pasta and risotto station! The salad was fresh, and they had a few different types of dessert available. My favorite was the cookies n cream biscotti. I didn't have enough time to have a drink, but hope to be back in the future. read more

We didn't get to enjoy the full benefits of this lounge because they stop serving a la carte menu at 7pm! I am surprised they close at 8pm given how so many people pass through Denver airport! Front receptionists were okay. Not exactly welcoming. Maybe because we looked like bums after skiing all day. Although we could not order real food off their menu, we were able to get some appetizers from their buffet section. I normally don't enjoy eating salad, but I found myself grabbing seconds! Their appetizers were delicious and I wish I got to taste their real food. The lady who was refilling/cleaning the buffet area was friendly. She asked if I wanted to take some cookies togo since she was clearing everything off of the buffet area. I just wish I got to relax at this lounge rather than rush to get some food in my stomach. Kitty we visited this location on a Thursday night and due to weather. Located in terminal C just a little bit past gate 46 up some escalators. Our flight was out of terminal B, which was not an issue to getting back to. Our flight was incredibly delayed and we were grateful for the spacious, comfortable lounge where they have so many different scenes that allow for any kind of lounging experience you're looking for! Extensive buffet, creative drinks and attentive service. It is remarkable how consistently the staff are keeping the space clean and the food refreshed. There's a fun game room where we played pool and had some snacks and drinks. There are two bar areas. It is open only till 10 PM. read more

I come to this centurion lounge quite often and it's pretty good. The standard has not changed here and it is consistent with all the other centurion lounges in the US. The food is delicious and has a good spread of meats and veggies. The desserts are actually pretty good as well. The churros come out once in a while and they're actually apple syrup filled! read more

Epic location; huge space (finally) but not quite there. A lot of amenities were down or broken including coffee machines, soft drinks, etc (meaning the bar had a crazy wait). Seating options are plentiful, and it was 7/10 clean. Food options are okay, but meat heavy, try remembering a lot of your cardholders don't eat meat in 2022, (which is why most is it was sitting out cold btw) Overall I like the vibe, the location and ease of access. This location was almost maxed out which is insane because it was HUGE, so maybe think about future expansion. read more

Really disappointing lounge. 1) you'll have to scan a QR code to get in (I waited 15 minutes); 2) you'll then have to stand in line for 5 minutes to actually be admitted; 3) there are almost no seats available, and if you want anything to drink (non-alcoholic included), you'll have to stand in line. I'd rather be in the regular terminal. Time to look into Capital One, which is opening much nicer-looking lounges around the country! read more

Not my favorite Centurion Lounge but it still gets the job done! Staff was very friendly and it was well kept this visit........the problem was (as no fault of theirs) it was extremely crowded! As an Introverted wall flower too many people for me haha!!!! Of course a Bloody Mary (or two) took the edge off. The eggs I'm sure they are real eggs but tasted a little bland, I never add additional salt but I had to. Breakfast potatoes were very good cooked well so they were not soggy and most had a nice crisp to it. Croissant....well it kind of screamed Pillsbury (don't don't get me wrong I love me a tin of crescent rolls) so it was still tasty. read more

I've come to this lounge several times over my AMEX Platinum membership and always enjoyed it. They've got a good selection of rotating food, drinks, snacks, and desserts. It definitely got more crowded the last few years. That will correct itself February 1st 2023 when the new AMEX policy starts up that eliminates guests for any card holder not spending an absurd amount on the card. Combined with the new price bump on the card, there will be a lot less people in here. The kids room is amazing if you can get it. Dimmable lights, decent noise reduction, and plenty of room and toys. They've also got pool tables, bars, workspaces, and so many other things. If you travel enough and can justify the AMEX Platinum, this lounge easily makes up a lot of that annual fee. With the new guest policy I'm thinking my visits here are coming to an end, but it's been a great ride. I will look up at this lounge with a tear in my eye from an uncomfortable seat down below as I join the throngs of the common folk passengers in terminal C. read more

There is one thing. They may be understaffed. I was trying to help this gentleman stack plates. Just helping out. Only open three weeks, but already awesome. I will note one minor annoyance. I didn't feel like risking an interaction with airport authorities, but Amex Lounge staff claim ownership of the area atop the escalators outside the doors to the facility. Not inside the happy glass wall with their name and logo, outside. If you arrive before they're willing or able to give you a time slot, and send you on your way to wait for a text message, they will come out and inform you that you are not allowed to wait outside their doors, you must go back down the escalator and wait somewhere else. Anyway, after that bit of fun, gained access and had a great experience. The place is immaculate with every square inch cleaned, and in a constant state of being cleaned. There were endless small bit food options, and a variety of fruits. The bar, and bartenders, were first class; we were there for hours and had Old Fashioneds, espresso martini's, mojito's, etc. and every single one was delicious. For anyone from Tampa, the espresso martini I had even rivaled the Cappuccino Berns from Berns Steakhouse; it was made with real espresso, a local Colorado coffee liquor (Leopold Bros), among other ingredients. Covid-protocols strictly enforced, and thoughtful spaced seating was in use. They appeared to have two shower suites, but those are closed for the time being. read more

2.5 stars. I've been flip flopping between 2 and 3 stars as an official rating. The substantial buffet is what did me in. I've been to Centurion Lounge a few times. It's typically full (and lively) so you may or may not get in on your first try. Check in 3 hours before your flight and enjoy drinks at the bar and food off the hefty buffet. Hefty compared to most other US lounges. The drinks are decent, whether you order a specialty cocktail or beer on tap. Buffet always includes a salad, two types of meat, starch, veggies, and several dessert options. Oh and the chef's station nearby. You can actually get a full meal here, and the food is pretty good. There's infused water and coffee machines around the corner. My main critique is the service. On my first visit, the bartender was SO many bad words I can't say in a Yelp review, but she basically shamed me for ordering a strong, masculine cocktail and warned me against the smokiness. On my second visit, a bunch of patrons could hear staff literally fighting in the kitchen. Such a clearly toxic work environment. Seems like the front desk staff have the better deal. There's always a slight amount of discomfort I feel when coming here, but there's no excuse if I'm ever flying out of Terminal C at DIA. Even if I was at another terminal, I'd still probably hang out if I arrived at the airport a few hours before my flight. Perhaps I'll update my rating after a few more visits... read more

Quite the disappointment. Like other reviewers have said, Centurion Clubs just aren't what they used to be. We had a 5 hour layover so we were there for quite a while. Since we got up at 3:15, we looked forward to having somewhere calm to get a little rest, I'm wasn't expecting a nap, just a quiet spot to relax. Unfortunately, relaxation was not in the cards for us today. There were a bunch of kids running around, but really, that's not the club's fault, it's the parent's fault. Likewise, people having conference calls aren't their fault, it's just entitlement. Where the club fails is by not providing a "quiet" area - the back section would be ideal for something like that. The food was also quite a disappointment. I tried several baked good and every last one was stale. The fruit was a mixed bag of over ripe and under ripe. The grilled cinnamon toast was good but that didn't come out until we were about ready to leave. The coffee corner was also a disaster. The brewing was slow, too slow for the number of people trying to get coffee. My husband waited for clean cups and they never showed up. Next January, when Amex wants you to spend a ridiculous $75,000 to bring a guest, I'm sure things will quiet down quite a bit. Until then, don't set your expectations too high read more
