Foot was great! I had the Garden burger with avocado & a salad. It was on the large side and packed with flavor. A nice salad green mix accompanied it. My SO had the Angry Goat Burger, she said it was the best burger she has had in a long time! Beer was great, I had a Flat Tire. Both friends expressed how much they enjoyed their meals too. One of our usual places when having a layover here. New Belgium has some great craft brews on tap. Unsure? Ask to try it. I usually love either the first or second one I try. Smooth drinking. It's a nice chill place to spend your layover, and worth your time to navigate over to this terminal even if your flights are all in a different terminal. I tab out when I have an hour before boarding, so I can make it back over to the other terminal, refill my water, and use the bathroom. I've done less before but you're safe if you give yourself an hour to make it back over to the neighboring terminal. I usually try to book a flight that gives me 4 hour layover just to come here and chill. read more

Airports are always the worst. No matter how well you prepare there is always a sense of panic and anxiety. When you are traveling sometimes you just need to sit down for a minute grab a bite to eat and a drink. You can pick a fast food stand where you stand in line to get your food then huddle in a food course or gate seats. The other option is to go to one of the sit down restaurants in the airport. These are always going to be overpriced, but they can be enough out of the main traffic flow that it is more relaxing. When we were traveling through the Denver airport we stopped at the New Belgium Hub. Since they are know for beer unsurprisingly that is their strong suite. We also got a pretzel (huge, really giant) and a couple salads. The food was decent but nothing stood out. My wife got a beer which was just standard Tap New Belgium beer. What did stand out to me though was that the service was relatively poor. They seemed understaffed so it took a while for us to place our initial order and then also to get our check and pay. Given that the place wasn't crowded, we shouldn't have had any issues. For something like an airport, where people are always having to catch a flight this just annoyed me and left a sour taste in my mouth. read more

Five Stars! Look, I read through the older reviews (some are quite dated and no longer apply). My experience though is that their Angry Goat Burger with goat cheese and bacon is delicious. Their fries came out piping hot and the ranch appeared homemade. Their chicken sandwich with more bacon was also quite tasty (subbed out preztel bun for brioche bun). The beers are poured properly, perfectly carbonated and well labeled as 12 ounce or 16 ounce (nobody is ripping you off). Yes, this is an airport location and prices are higher but that is the same for all airport locations. The service is quite good but that's recognizing a few people are handling a ton of walk-ins. This was SUCH a disappointment. I'm evangelical in my love of New Belgium (and pretty much any Colorado company...) and love their ethos, their totally bada** female co-founder, the way they treat employees and the environment and, perhaps most importantly, their beer! This bar, though, had a truly sad beer list (I mean, the had La Folie, but like everything else was solid staples that most folks can find across the US at this point. I expected more than one or two unique to Colorado/different beers, ya know?!) and the food was gross. We had fries as an appetizer, which like how can you mess up fries? You evidently can. These were warm, and that in-between of potato wedges and fries where you get a large mouthful of starch without any salt/flavor and not a lot of crunch. We saw meals on others' tables and decided to have our meal elsewhere. The cheese for the pretzel was white and thin/soupy-looking, which could be a kind of cheese, but didn't look it and isn't what one expects of a cheese and pretzel combo at a bar/brewpub. It's a HIKE down the B concourse, which isn't a big deal if your flight departs from there, but if you're contemplating making a special trip from another concourse like we did--don't. read more

Located almost at the end of the United terminal, good place to come if you have a long layover. I came here on Sunday when I had close to 3 hours layover here in Denver. I actually wanted to go another place with good wine but they were closed on Sunday... They ended up being very good, even if you have 2 hours layover, I recommend this place for good beer and food. I tried 1554 enlightened black ale. I am not a beer expert. After explaining what I like this was recommended by a nice server. Gave me a small sample to taste it first, I ordered a pint. Their menu is visitor friendly. Menu has suggestions on which beer goes well is which food. I decided to try portobello mushrooms dish after my server said he liked it despite of not being mushrooms fun. Nice tomato base sauce went well with all the vegetables served. I was so very well pleased to find this beer hub @ the Denver airport btwn flights! The staff was more than accommodating and kind, and even let my friend and I bring food from the outside to eat with our beers. Cheers!! Who does that nowadays?! They even gave us extra chairs for us to throw down all of our traveling luggage. Indeed! We were traveling in luxury -- with beer in hand. I tried the 1554 Black lager (creamy good and dark) and my friend tried the Lips of Faith (sour beer with lychee notes!) The selection of beers is by New Belgium (obviously). Beyond a solid selection of brews, I love their company's backstory and history. It was founded in the late 80s after the owner traveled through Belgium by a bicycle with "fat tires." He visited all the different neighborhoods that served great beer, and collected recipes and ingredients along the way. When he returned home from abroad, he started the brewery in his basement and it has since grown to what it is today. The employees also mentioned some of the company's amazing perks, including free bikes and trips to Belgium for certain work anniversaries. After 15min of sitting down, we had to flag a waitress to take our order. Seems like more people were standing than actually working. I got a beer flight for about $9 and a side of sweet potato fries. The beers were pretty good but the fries were lacking. I always try to stop here when I am in the Denver Airport. I went to New Belgium in Ashville and absolutely loved the tour and love supporting the business (and the beer) when I can. I was on my way to Montana and on our first layover here I had the chicken tender salad. It absolutely hit the spot and the beer was great. Came here for lunch on a layover in Denver - what should have been a 2-hr layover morphed into 2.5, 3, a cancelled flight, and then 7 hours later into a redeye flight. I ordered the Belgium Beer Brat with Sweet Potato fries. It took forever (maybe 30 min) to come out. The brat was cooked well and had lots of peppers, onion and kraut. The Chipotle Mustard went well with the brat as well. The texture of the brat was slightly elastic on the outside, but juicy tender meat inside. Fries were a bit on the dry side. Pricing was okay and service was friendly - just wasn't too impressed by the long wait. read more

The bartender tells me that it is now summer and the seasonal summer ale is the one that is available. I made the mistake of advising him that Summer starts on June 21 and that it is still Spring. He got all pissy and stomped off muttering about me being argumentative. I ended up ordering a Pint of the Skinny Dip. Gorgeous color, great flavor, loved the beer. Literally the worst service I've ever received at an establishment. I sat in the corner facing the window so I could watch planes come in and out - a little tucked away but there was definitely a server assigned to my section. It took about 20 minutes for the server to come over, take my order, and bring me a drink which I didn't mind because I still had plenty of time for my flight. The server didn't check on me...which was fine..until I needed to leave. I tried to flag him down multiple times - for about 10 minutes - then I decided to take things into my own hands because I was at risk of missing my flight if I didn't leave. I walked up to the server stand and asked if he could run my card (wasn't my server) he said he couldn't help me because he wasn't serving me and proceeded to walk away. At this point I got so frustrated and firmly stated I needed someone to check me out because I HAD to leave. Eventually my server came over, ran my card, and I left .... all this over a beer. I understand servers are busy but servers in an airport should be respectful that some of the patrons have tight turn around and need to leave when they need to leave. I won't be back to this spot for my pre-flight bev and don't recommend you stop by either. read more

Great spot to grab a brew at the airport. I was roaming terminal B because of a layover and stumbled upon the New Belgium Hub. I'm a big fan of their beer and it was an obvious choice. It's tucked away from other places and had little to no wait. The menu sounds very tasty and the prices are lower than most of the restaurants I saw in the airport. Highly recommend a Voodoo Ranger IPA and if I was hungry the chicken wings sound like a winner. The coolest thing about the menu is their use of beer in different foods and their pairing list of what compliments their meals best. If you're traveling through Denver and are a fan of beer and good prices food, then you should definitely check out the New Belgium Hub! read more

Stopped here while waiting for my flight at the Denver airport.. it was pretty good and not a bad place to stop for a good drink and meal. I got a Bloody Mary which was small for the price but it was just enough spice. I also got the guacamole and it came with pico making it a great chunky guac! Food - terrible. Seriously, the chicken strips were the pre breaded and frozen strips you can get at any supermarket. They were barely warm and extremely chewy. The Cuban was worse. Oh, I have an hour and a half delay at DIA, I guess I know where I'm off to. As a fairly devoted New Belgium drinker since LONG before y'all knew about it, this place is one of the places that makes DIA feel like a vacation spot if I'm forced to spend some time here. IMHO, New Belgium used to be better than it is now. Too many varieties, and it has gotten big. It's still good, but it is hard to call this a micro-brewery anymore. I have such fond memories of coming across Fat Tire and those beautiful beer signs back when I spent my summer in St. Louis in '03. Then I moved to Denver in '04. Fat Tire being out of Ft.Collins (aka Fort Fun), there was a heavy presence. Fat Tire Amber, 1554 Dark Ale (still love it), Bier du Mars, Trippel (what happened last night?), Sunshine Wheat, Blue Paddle... Old Cherry!!! Those were the days. Long since a memory. Well, this empire has grown. I was pretty psyched to see they have their own spot in DIA. This place has a special place in my heart because of my history with New Belgium. This particular spot will also always have a spot in my heart because I came the day my grandfather died - he was very sick and I was on the way to see him one last time. He passed while I was at SFO about to board, then I got delayed at DIA on my way to Minnesota. I guess it says something that this place was a comfortable rest stop. The food is at best mediocre. Not terrible. And, you'll get the airport prices. I am happy with the opportunity to sample a nice range of beers - samplers of 4 beers of your choice. New Belgium has the standards, but also a solid selection of new things I hadn't tried and I've been through that a few times here. I will mention, the location is far-flung so make sure you have time and stay up-to-date on your airlines website in case they flight gets back on track. If you are past security, this will be one of your two best options for beer (Root Down in Terminal C has some really legit taps). If you are a New Belgium fan, then this is a no-brainer. 120 min layover @ DIA. I'm at a gate in a wing that could moor a battleship, four lanes of foot traffic with an island in the middle. A quick perusal of the directory yields "New Belgian Hub". Am I going? Pope got a hat? Bear sleep in the woods? After a NYC avenue block walk I find NBH, tucked into a corner like an afterthought, so Euro...where Americans build everything to code (not for safety, its to defend lawsuits) the rest of world starts with "can you you stand? can you stand and hold a beer? can you stand, hold a beer and let others pass? Ok, build it..and so on. And so we have New Belgian Hub..predictably a tight squeeze, too many tables and chairs but that's fine too, more people can join in. My spot was a single stool in a row of stools against a window with a view of planes on approach..I was elbow to elbow with a guy with a crew cut, tweed jacket and horn-rimmed glasses, he kept looking at my laptop screen, little clandestine (not) peekaboos, I wanted to say what's up dude, seriously? but didn't care too much (just renting a car), thought it was funny since he was so oblivious....or wuz'ee... Anyway, I removed a left-over plate and empty glass that was in my spot after waiting a bit....a waitress came by after a wait...the line of stools was now a line of people giving orders...more wait... * What did you eat? - Swiss Burger with Lettuce, tomato aoli - Fries, thicker cut, good and salty - Hefeweizen This was perfect...crammed in like sausages... no outlets, no wifi (or maybe wifi didn't chk) but lots of people talking, great vibe...and just like Europe the service could barely be called service - I was given no napkins and the burger was drippy.....too perfect...too funny. I ate, I drank and then it was time to make like a baby and head out. SUMMARY: Burger was great, I devoured it, fries and beer were A+..Giving NBH 4 starz and rounding up a little. I've had better service in bowling alleys but a little Euro in Denver is priceless. read more

A-OK, that's a solid 3 Stars. Here is a place you can get some local Denver beer, and while they may not have the most unique selection, or even anything totally hard to find, it's still a cool idea. They do offer DIY flights, and prix-fix flights also. Around $9 for four 4oz. pours, is not terrible. Now, wether the beers are good or not is a matter of too much personal taste, though I personally think the Lips of Faith series is their last really well crafted beer series. The food. On someone else's recommendation below, I got the Chicken French Dip and fries. I've never had a chicken french dip, and it sounds like a good idea. And in truth, it probably is a good idea. Just not here. The chicken was dry, and didn't really have any flavor. It was sloppily put together and kept falling apart upon pick-up. I don't have htat issue with a roast beef french dip...just saying. The odd thing to me was that instead of a beef au jus, I got some sort of clear-ish broth looking au jus with loads of oil floating in it. It REALLY had no flavor and I wish I would have gotten the normal beef au jus with the chicken as I think that would have helped a lot. I will say the bread was really quite good though. The fries were good, not great, but good. I left paying about $20 for my chicken dip, fries and flight. Meh, yea that's about average. I don't feel a need to visit again. read more
