We came here to get a Bible for a teenager. This store is such a gem, there's not many Christian bookstores left in OC! The space is very warm and welcoming. They have a wide variety of books for every interest and age group from little kids to mature audience. They have every version of Bibles you could need that it was very easy to find the one we wanted. They have a little area where you can grab a book or Bible and flip through it! They also have some adorable merchandise like bags, keychains, bookmarks, stuffed animals etc. when we came up to pay, they offered us free engraving on the new Bible to be picked up in a few days. How special is this!! They also have very helpful and knowledgeable staff if you have any questions! I know where I'm going to go for Bibles and great gifts! read more

Amazing service & worth the money! Shout-out to Deanna for being available. It's a blessing to hand-out the Bibles with their names on it imprinted for my family and special friends. This is a free service they offer. Great variety to gift for toddlers on books to toys and puzzles, cards or shirts and sweaters for all ages; or just ideas on decorations for the home with inspirational messages and scriptures. The time spent here is priceless as the staff helps you to bring it out to the car when necessary or wrap carefully the fragile items like tea cups, frames, jewelry, etc. Thank you for representing the Chapel Store well indeed! I came to the Santa Ana Chapel Store last Saturday on Feb 1st, 2025, I made the order for my church children Sunday school for tomorrow - Feb 9 th, 2025. That store manager Hailey told me she ordered it on Feb 1st while I was paying it, and I will received them at the store in about one week. So I called this morning on Feb 8th, 2025 before picking up the children books today, as I need to use the children materials for church tomorrow on Feb 9th, 2025. The girl who picked up the phone, her attitude was very rude, she told me they did not order the children books at all. So the store manager Hailey lied to customer that she made the order on Feb 1st, which was not true.How sad ! I have to look for materials today for children church tomorrow. All my church friends and I will never go back to Santa Ana Chapel store! They need to know how to respect customers, provide honest service, and show kind attitude, basically just as Christians. read more

If you need a bible, this store has the best selection. I just found the perfect bible here for my 5 year old grandson. The Bible is written like a graphic novel, telling bible stories in such a way to keep the attention of little ones! So it makes bible reading fun! I do have to say that the little bible was the hit of the party among the ADULTS. Many of them were reading stories from various chapters. They will also engrave the Bible for you if you wish so it makes a great place for gifts for all ages. They have lots of other stuff and a very friendly staff. read more

My hubby and I ordered a filament bible and it was suppose to take two weeks to get them. We were Called like 5 days later. We were so happy to know that they got them so much sooner. Customer Service at CCCM Chapel store is amazing, everyone is so nice and helpful. If you never heard of a Filament bible I suggest you look them up. Very pleasant store and shopping experience. Very nice selection of bibles and books, CDs, greeting cards, planners and a few tasteful Christian themed gifts. Also some available in Spanish and Vietnamese (I assume). Lots of selection but modern, uncluttered layout. I was very happy with the competitive pricing. I purchased a bible for my daughter and a beautiful mug. They offer embossing on most bibles for $3 and while you wait. Easy to find and plenty of parking. When most stores move to online ordering only, it is nice to actually be able to buy gifts in person, not only in a pinch but to see how the products looks. read more

I went to purchase a new personal bible for myself, and to get it embossed, which I never had before. The selection and pricing of the bookstore is excellent. There is an abundant selection of bibles, study guides, fiction and non-fiction. Additionally, the store offers 10% off of everything in the store. I found a small, black travel bible that fit my needs perfectly. That is where the review takes a negative turn. I wanted my name embossed on the bible. The employee said that the embossing would probably look fine, but "may not turn out." When I received my bible 10 minutes later, the embossing was beyond "might not turn out." The name was vertically centered half off the flap and crooked, and the gold inlaid embossing over-flowed the emboss. It is now flaking off. I asked the employee what happened. She informed me that "well, I said it would not turn out." I was not using the embossing machine, however, I'm pretty sure I would have seen that my name was not on the darn bible! Additionally, I would have made sure the gold emboss was applied appropriately. I tried to get a resolution to the problem, but was told that all sales are final when items are personalized. Due to the horrible service I have now been going to Family Christian Bookstore instead. The selection at the Chapel Store is delightful, just hope that that staff doesn't try to help you. read more

This is my favorite place to simply get away and feel at peace. How great to be surrounded by Gods word from the artwork to the gifts, wonderful selection of bibles and great books. The staff is friendly and helpful and always smiling. This is a nice Christian book store and the prices are better than Family Christian over on Harbor, though it is much smaller. It's next to Calvary Chapel and is their in-house store. I found some great holiday cards and picked up several to get ahead of the gift shopping. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable as well. read more

I brought my bible here to get engraved and they did a good job. Maryann at the front desk was very helpful and considerate. It only cost $3! And there are several choices available (different fonts, symbols and colors to choose from). I was told it wouldn't be ready until the evening but got a a call a few hours later and was able to pick up on my lunch break! Fast service! Unfortunately, they couldn't do the accent in my name (minus a star) but other than that a job well done. Also, when I picked up Maryann remembered me and went to the back to get for me so I wouldn't have to stand in line again! read more

This is my all time favorite book store! They always have sweet deals going on! I got Chucks Smith Wisdom for Today for a sweet steal! Around the time of Black Friday they had several books on sale! Some were even for $1.00! Who can go wrong with books on biblical study?! I sure got almost a full library of books on the Psalms, John etc. They are usually quite friendly here! Called this business to see if they could ,emboss names on four Bibles. They said come on over. After driving from 25+ minutes away I was told "we only emboss Bibles that we carry and this isn"t one of them". Well of course not ..they were free! Kind of rings a bell:you receive free you give free! At least when it comes to God"s word. Hard to imagine Jesus turning down work on a Bible he didn't like!
