Chapman is one of those rare places that truly feels special and for me, that came down almost entirely to the management, especially Tamara! From day one, Tamara created an environment that felt less like a typical apartment building and more like a genuine community. She was responsive, thoughtful, and deeply invested in the residents. It's not an exaggeration to say she made the building feel like a family, especially around the holidays when she would decorate the lobby and make it special. That kind of care is incredibly rare, especially in a larger property. The building itself is beautiful. A historic property with a lot of character, charm, and architectural detail that you just don't find in newer developments. The units were well-kept, and during my 9 years there, everything ran smoothly thanks to the on-site management. That said, things did change over time. Ownership decisions started to detract from what made the building special, including alterations to the common areas that took away from the original charm and character. It was disappointing to see some of the thoughtful design and atmosphere replaced in a way that felt more generic. I ultimately moved out as the surrounding neighborhood declined during COVID, and the overall direction of the property no longer felt aligned with what it once was. Still, I can't overstate how much Tamara contributed to my positive experience there. I'm a long term resident of The Chapman, and a couple of things have kept me here as a tenant. I love the DTLA neighbourhood and the building feels special to me. In part this is because of the staff here. Tamara, our building manager, has been so hands on at creating a home for people here - there's no doubt that she really cares. Her team- from Jorge and Joel and all of the other maintenance and security people - are truly appreciated here. They work so hard and are communicative and prompt to deal with any issues.That being said, I have had minimal issues over the years. The leasing agents and managers are caring and treat you as well after move-in as before you signed the lease, which is not typical of apartment complexes. I've lived in a few lofts around DTLA before moving here and none have compared to the level of effort Jet and Tamara put into making the residence happy. Not only was the building properly maintained with amenities such as a jacuzzi, elevator, gym, laundry room but the property managers Tamara and Jet are always on it when anything is needed and always handle things in an efficient and prompt manner. I have been living at Chapman Flats now for a year and a half. I'm in love, and never want to leave. The team is just absolutely on top of it. I worked with Jet in securing my apartment over a year ago, and throughout the entire process she was communicative, helpful, and so so friendly. She's the kind of person you want to become friends with after meeting her professionally. Such a warm soul. Whenever I need help internally, Tamara and Jorge are on it. I've even called Tamara late at night, on the accidental occasion I leave my keys and Security is double checking that I live in the building (which I appreciate so much, even when it's me they're checking! Lol) I've never lived in a building with same day maintenance requests. Jorge and his team are on it, and they're helpful and sweet. I am always so happy to see them in the mornings on my way to work. Speaking of which, the downstairs staff are so awesome. Our daytime receptionist (I wish I knew his name!) is the absolute SWEETEST human being! From greeting you, to chatting with you, to getting the elevator for you, he is always so warm and helpful. It really feels like you're being welcomed home. At night, the two main Security guards are so lovely as well. I appreciate feeling safe, and while downtown is getting better every day, as a woman living alone it's nice to have that extra comfort around. The amenity spaces are humble, but they have character. The rooftop is always a crowd favorite when I have friends over. And most importantly, the team there is always in their efforts to continue to improve existing spaces. Recently the movie theater got a face lift, along with the lobby. I appreciate that so much in a building. There are always areas to improve and it's very comforting to know they care about your home life just as much as you do. Overall, this building has so much life and beauty, the neighbors I've met have been warm and approachable, and the staff are exemplary. I've enjoyed my time so much at the Chapman! Searching for an apartment downtown can be daunting. It felt like so many places we viewed were tiny and yet so, so expensive. Plus there's parking to find, the micro-neighborhoods that mean one street can be quiet and park-like while the next is dingy and loud... Within that chaos the Chapman felt like finding the holy grail. We came across The Chapman Flats while looking at another building down the street. I assumed it would be out of our price range, but it's reasonable, and there are even rent specials that help offset the cost. The building is beautiful and the flats themselves are kept up really well. The only issues I encountered during my year+ time there were a clogged drain and an air conditioning filter replacement, both of which were fixed the day I submitted the request. The management team, Tamara and Jet, are very nice and always available. I really have nothing bad to say about anything there! :) Before moving I religiously read online reviews; there's nothing worse than finding out a place is horrible after moving in, but with The Chapman I was really happy. read more

We lived in the Chapman for about five years; this is a great historic building with nice layouts for all the units (we were lucky enough to move a few times within the building) and plenty of amenities. The building has a gym, laundry room, rooftop access with amazing views, a BBQ and jacuzzi, and assigned parking next door. The location is ideal for anyone wanting to be close to everything that DTLA has to offer: from restaurants to bars to groceries and even the metro, all within walking distance. The building is old so it has its quirks and charms (the elevators, hallways and doors look like they're straight out of a detective noir film) but everything is well-maintained and kept up to date. The best part of the Chapman is the management. Tamara and Jet are there for you, whenever you need them. We never had a question or incident that they weren't willing to help with in a prompt, polite and caring manner. Jorge and his team take excellent care of the building and address all issues quickly. We were sad to move out because we knew that it would be hard to find management that cares about their building and their tenants like this team does. read more

Let me just start off by saying that Tamara, Jet and the entire staff are wonderful. They've done their absolute best to remain positive and solve problems in an area of the city that is severely mismanaged. The amenities and quality of the apartments themselves are superb for the price. However, the exterior walls and windows are paper thin; the noise level would literally be similar to sleeping outside on the sidewalk. If you are sensitive to noise or work from home, I can't in all good conscience recommend The Chapman. As I write this from my couch at 9am, given the amount of construction going on around me, living in an automobile factory would probably be quieter. Its my understanding that Tamara has done a lot to try to address the noise situation of the surrounding area. However, city officials and management of adjacent buildings (looking at you, Griffin) haven't shown much consideration and cooperation. If the building and it's staff were virtually in any other part of the city, I would give them 5++ starts. While DTLA has shown some improvements over the years (albeit slowly), I've noticed over the last few months things have been slipping rapidly due to the pandemic and riots. I would speculate that 30-40% of local, storefront businesses probably won't be reopening. Coupled with the homeless situation, abysmal sanitary conditions and ineptitude of City Hall, I'm unfortunately not optimistic of DTLA's future. FYI, I lived in Manhattan and Center City Philly for 8 years. Both are lightyears less stressful than living in DTLA. read more

You get a ton of space, high ceilings, large bathrooms, nice kitchen, and great historical charm. Tamara is amazing, literally the most responsive property manager ever, I wish they were all this great. The building is diverse, respectful, and low drama. The roof isn't too crowded and I feel like it's a great location. Close to the South Park area, but not as expensive. Feels safe, and great lobby staff keeping an eye on things. I am very happy to have found the Chapman flats while living in downtown la! Coming from a building with unprofessional landlords in a low security building we were very happy coming into Chapman. Tamera and jet have been extremely accommodating and helpful through our whole lease term. Moving in was a breeze, we toured several floor plans with many great views of DTLA. The units are nice and spacious with high ceilings and large windows that span across the apartment, our apartment also felt nice and cool with its polished concrete floors. One of the main things I enjoyed is how insulated the units are, I never felt like I could hear our neighbors (top or bottom) or make too much noise for them to hear us. Plus they have a really nice updated roof top with really nice views of the DTLA skyline. Over all I'd highly recommend. Great location and amazing staff read more

I just moved out of The Chapman after living there for 3.5 years, starting at the beginning of 2013. Don't listen to these 1 star reviews, The Chapman is a quality apartment building with extra quality management. Sure sometimes one of the elevators is down for a couple hours. Boo-hoo. Things happen in any apartment building.. The cool thing about Chapman is that they fix it very quickly. Any time I had even a clogged drain, they would fix it that same day. Or a light out above the stove? Or above the bathroom sink? Swapped out by the time I got home from work. The concrete floors are amazing, the kitchen appliances looked great and did the job, and the views and sunlight from my 10th floor west facing apartment was spot on. Also a little side note-- the walls are thick and the concrete floors allow you to be pretty much as loud as you want inside your apartment-- I never had a noise complaint from a neighbor in 3.5 years, and sometimes we were LOUD. The building is contracted very well. I can't complain a bit about my time there. Sure there were a few things here and there, but they were always resolved. I would recommend anyone looking to live downtown to check out the Chapman! read more

i've lived at the chapman for 3 years and can honestly say it's the best place i've lived in los angeles. the units are attractive and the building is well maintained. management, tamara and jet, are responsive and attentive and also pretty damn neighborly. jorge and his crew are quick to respond when something needs to be repaired. there are downsides to living in any 100 year old building, but they're mitigated by the upfront, efficient way they're handled here. any complaint i could possibly put here can be chalked up to life in DTLA. the streets are post apocalyptic, but chapman is home. read more

Where do I begin?!! I did a lot of research before moving into the building, and had looked at several buildings in the area. Parking was one of my main concerns while looking around. The Rooftop was also what lured me in. Fast forward a yea later- and the building has DRASTICALLY declined. The Rooftop is no longer open 24 hours (as it was when I moved in) and only open until 11pm. The biggest change however, came without warning. The developers (or whomever) decided to open up our private parking garage to the public WITHOUT WARNING. Anyone in off the street can now walk and drive through our parking structure in order to get to the lot located directly behind our building!!!! The residents were never warned, no notice was put up, and after numerous complaints nothing has changed. Whats the big deal you ask?! 8 cars were broken into during the first few weeks this happened!!! EIGHT. Furthermore, there was no security in place to watch over the cars or structure, creating an unsafe free for all environment (just a man waving an orange flag to attract more business who is not even employed by The Chapman) ANYONE can come in off the street into the structure, threatening the safety of the residents and our property. I have even witnessed with my own eyes people who CLEARLY do not live in the building, parking in someone's assigned spot. Although there are cameras posted throughout the parking structures- it is virtually impossible for the our doorman to watch the entire 5 floors in the structure, in addition to watching the cameras in our building, AND do his job (signing for packages, opening doors, helping residents with questions ... etc). EVERY single resident I have spoken to about this is beyond LIVID. We have tried calling, writing letters, and nothing has been done. NOTHING. The best part? None of the residents were even told about the break ins (although the perp was finally caught by the police during a break in spree!!) God knows if those residents will get compensation for the damage done to their vehicles. The developers better get ready for some law suits coming their way- because I'm sure this isn't going to be the last time this happens. I am so unhappy with this situation, as I could have easily moved into another building, had mgmt been forthcoming about the parking situation. so take this into consideration when moving into this building.... You've been warned. read more

So after beginning apartment hunting again and realizing the plethora of crap housing in LA, thought I'd gush about my old place. I lived here from 2009-2010 and had to leave because my roommate was moving out of state and I wouldn't be able to afford the place on my own. I wish I could go back! The building itself is cool, one of the better loft buildings downtown that you will be proud to show your friends, but the best part of living here is the people. Get a dog and you will meet a lot of awesome, younger creative professionals on the rooftop taking their dogs up in the morning and evening. It's also easy to become friends with Tamara and Jet, the management team, as well as all the support staff. Other notes: - Never had any maintenance issues (never needed anything repaired) - Parking wasn't an issue because people with tandem spots have assigned spaces (for single spots your parking is free so you can't complain anyhow) and they also installed a secondary gate on the ramp to the upper levels. At night, Henry the security guard is happy to walk you from the garage to the building's front door and often the night concierge will be waiting for you anyhow (security camera feeds) - Other conveniences: basement includes a small gym open all day/night with a TV that has DirecTV, a TV room, storage spaces you can rent, and a large laundry room with new machines, good location for bar hopping - Broadway Bar, Golden Gopher (and even 7 Grand) are really close. read more

I lived in the Chapman for 2008 until April of 2010. I left because I lost my job and my partner and I could no longer afford to live there. We were extremely sad to leave. The building is a beacon of exemplary architecture, inside and out. The rooftop is a show stopper. And one of the best parts is that the Chapman roof is very dog friendly, which trust me, MANY roofs of buildings downtown are not. Many buildings downtown feel that dogs don't deserve the freedom to run around without the fear of being squashed by a car. Dogs can socialize together, bask in the sun and enjoy their city life. The building attracts good people: accomplished, ambitious professionals, which believe me, not all downtown buildings do. Many building downtown attract street-urchin-needle-in-my-arm-no-sleep-till-Brooklyn addicts and "artists." Truly for me the best part about the building is the management. Tamara and Jet are the nicest, kindest most thoughtful and understanding leasing agents/managers I've ever had in my life-- and I'm from NYC and have lived in apartments since birth. The way they run the building is efficient, responsive and thorough. I simply cannot fathom how anyone could possibly say anything bad about them. One of the building drawbacks is the parking. There's no elevator in the parking structure and it's around 1/2 a block from the building. However, one spot is free with rent and an additional spot is just around $95. Try to find another deal like that downtown, believe me you won't. It does not exist. I think that if more tenants realized how much they're NOT being charged to park their cars, they'd shut their mouths a bit more. I think perhaps if some tenants woke up and realized that most buildings downtown DON'T give you a free space and charge you $150 to park your car monthly, they'd quit pissing and moaning. So this review is way overdue. I moved out of Chapman about 3 months ago and I have to say that the office management is probably the best ever! They take care of almost everything for you, whether it is just changing a light bulb to even working with you on any living situation issues you may have. Tamara and Jet are always helpful and wants to make sure that all their tenants are taken care of. I only wish the new office management where i moved to were as half as good as them two. The rooms are spacious and clean. The place is also very pet friendly. There is a small dog park on the roof where you can take your dogs to their business as well as mingle with other dogs. Now that I think about it, I really miss living at Chapman and sort of regret moving out to be closer to work. If you are looking to move to Downtown, I highly recommend moving into Chapman. Loft style apartments, great value for the location, but the surrounding neighborhood is a little rough (although seems to be gentrifying). Includes free parking (lot next door) and the property manager is very sweet. This was our Plan B, but we chose a place closer to South Park near Ralph's and Whole Foods (nicer neighborhood/feels safer). read more

Tamara and Jet are by far the best building managers I've ever dealt with. They treat all their tenants like family, with tremendous respect. It's so easy to live there! I was a bit nervous about the garage from older reviews, but moved in anyway because they don't charge, and don't charge for motorcycles! That's unheard of downtown. I own 2 motorcycles and a car, so it can add up. They have a special section on the 2nd floor for motorcycles. The only problem I had with the garage is the jerk who works days. He is always too busy smoking weed in the alley so loads of cars sneak up the ramp and take our spaces. The night watchman is a Chapman employee and is AWESOME. The situation with making the ground floor accesible to the public by day is a problem, but Tamara walks the garage often to make sure no cars are illegally parked there. Something she wouldn't have to do if the parking company would hire a responsible adult for the days. The apartment building is gorgeous and clean, the rooftop stunning. I will miss that jacuzzi more than anything. Jorge always fixes things quickly, the building is impeccably maintained. I asked him how to remove the stopper from my bathroom sink so I could clean the hair out. He said he'd be happy to do it and explained to me exactly how he likes to do it. It's so nice to deal with people who take pride in their work! If downtown LA wasn't becoming a horrible shitshow of nightclubbing bridge & tunnel retards I'd still live there. But the downtown I love has become the new Hollywood. I lived in the Chapman for a year, and have also lived at SB Manhattan and Premiere Towers in the past few years. We had originally decided on one unit but later swapped to another once it opened up. No issues with transfer to another unit. I have lived at the Chapman for 6 months now and I am really enjoying it. Before moving here my boyfriend and I had been living in the arts district for a few years. We had been considering moving somewhere in the core of downtown, but we weren't dead set on anything. I always assumed the parking would be too expensive and the downgrade in space would not be worth it. We saw and upper level 1 bedroom unit - facing 8th - and we immediately loved it. The view was incredible (looking south on Broadway at the Eastern Building, etc) and even though the unit is smaller than our previous place in Arts District it was worth the space downgrade to be walking distance to so many things. The Chapman building itself is beautiful with a ton of unique features. I love the tile mixed with polished concrete floors. I'm not sure if it is just because of the way our unit is positioned in the building but we almost never hear any of our neighbors. If they are out in the hallway we can hear but nothing through the walls. The street noise can get pretty crazy but that is to be expected when living downtown. read more

The staff is amazing the building is amazing! I have seen almost every loft in downtown and I must say The Chapman is the best! The parking is a 1/2 block away but its included in the rent (which is cheap compared to everywhere else in downtown) I have no complaints! I am usually a very picky person too. I had to leave Los Angeles to complete my education in a different city, but had I stayed, I don't think I would have ever moved out! i don't enjoy that someone was shot twice in the neck in the garage a couple weeks ago. I know this from asking officers on the scene after driving over the pool of blood before the police had a chance to rope off the crime scene. It almost bothers me more that I haven't received anything nor have I seen anything posted in the building communicating to the residents what has happened and what The Chapman is doing to keep us safe on the property. They haven't addressed it at all. Doesn't seem like normal protocol to me. A community meeting would have been nice or a letter addressing the issue at least. Nothing. I lived here for two years and loved it! It's in a great location for walking to restaurants, bars and public transportation. Friendly building with great management who will make you feel right at home. 24 hour rooftop with amazing views. Friendly doormen 24/7, lots of security cameras around the outside of the building so it feels safe. It is an old bank so the lofts have tons of character with exposed brick and concrete. After looking at nearly every loft building downtown, we liked The Chapman the best. After moving to another city, I can say that The Chapman has it all. read more

ANYWHERE BUT HERE! Like the others here, I had an agreement about parking with the Chapman Flats. I was deciding between Chapman and the Union Lofts when I found out there was NO ELEVATOR in the Chapman's 5-floor parking garage, I told them I was going to sign at the Union. No question, it was a nonstarter for me. They instantly promised me first floor guaranteed parking - IN WRITING. I would NEVER have moved into the Chapman Flats without it, and they know that. (I carry lots of stuff back and forth to work, the big bummer is that I have a knee problems and this will certainly make matters worse.) Now, I do understand circumstances change. The building owner is apparently in a pinch for money, so he's trying to make more selling out the spaces downstairs. Okay, I get it, BUT I have 6 months left on my lease and I was basically told they aren't going to do anything to honor the contract, with anyone. I've never actually had landlord or management that I thought were unethical. It's disappointing and such a hassle - do I sue? The attorney I contacted certainly thought I had grounds. It's 100% the equivalent of upping the rent mid lease - breech of contract. Do I spend time and money fighting them? Do I move because the the agreement has been broken... No one really wants to deal with this crap after the huge hassle of moving. So I say - STAY AWAY FROM THE CHAPMAN FLATS. Based on the other comments here I see that this place is taking a nose dive. The Milano was actually very clean and (I felt) honest. They simply honor their written contracts. What a concept. PS - the same muddy bootprints have been in the hallway for going on 2 weeks now - there is no cleaning crew - I have seen someone cleaning (on another floor) ONE time in 6 months. Don't bother aka you have been warned! YOU WILL REGRET IT! With the new money now flowing into gentrification of DTLA the old school gems are being laid to rest. Don't believe me? Walk into the lobby and look at the security camera display. Yup two of the three screens are not even wired up to anything and the one that is wired you couldn't tell if you were looking at an active volcano or the housewives of Hollywood. Quality is down, like way down. Like test for feces in the elevator and get positive results down. I lived in this building for a little over a year and almost every week the quality went down. Two elevators for 13 floors and one is always broken. Three hot water boilers and two haven't worked since the 1980's so the one that is running 150% needs repairs 4-5 times a year. A/C is the same way, recently A/C was out for 4 days. Someone else mentioned the homeless people in the alley behind the building, don't forget there are two clubs back there also. Often on Friday and Saturday night you need to get passed the club people blocking the entrance to the building. Good fun, especially if you have groceries. Parking spaces? Almost anyone with double digit IQ can get into the garage so often you will find someone sleep under your car, people using your car as a hiding spot to smoke. Speaking of which there is a static ghetto pharmacy located somewhere in the penthouse areas. Gentrification in the area has the noise levels way up, especially if you rent a unit facing spring street don't expect to sleep from 6 am to whenever they run out of overtime money, which could be 6 pm or midnight. From my unit I could open a window and touch my hand to a ******* crane. The Chapman is a historically protected building, so things like single pane windows from 1920 cannot be upgraded to help cope with the construction noise, dust, diesel fumes. City of LA Air quality board will not come inspect this place without being paid, I called. Reason for this was I got sick in the unit while working from home for two weeks I basically didn't leave downtown for two weeks. I checked the air quality in the room and it sometimes worse than the outside air. I had to get two air purifiers rated for 800 sq ft to cover 600 sq ft space and be able to actually keep up with the dirt in the air. After the purifiers I stopped getting sick. Asked again to replace the windows at my own cost and was denied. Electricity is almost certainly illegally billed, they have a group bill and then "someone" distributes it among the tenants. I actually had no one living in my space for two months and the only thing plugged in was the fridge. The other breakers were even flipped off. I received a bill for more than $200. Another month when I was living there I had everything on and had a small computer lab with 3 servers and some additional cooling since the building A/C likes to die randomly, that bill was $72... You cannot will not receive an individual bill or itemized explanation of usage. You will get a very raw email saying "you used ###" "you pay $######" pretty ******* awesome right? I asked around shortly after moving in and I was told if you make a fuss about the utilities billing they will evict you. I was introduced to two people who had copies of their lease, bills and eviction notices to back up that story. I knew a decent number of long time tenants who I met when I first moved to LA who had been there all the years I had bounced from the Valley, West Hollywood, Santa Monica, this past year 2015 they have all gone so I've done the same. I hope the gentrification of DTLA helps to fix Skid Row and not just waste perfectly good buildings like these building that monstrosity on 8th and spring for what? As others have said they are raising rents here in spite of the fact its becoming more and more unlivable. The best thing about the building is the attitude of Jet, Tamara and George. I've never seen three people deal with so much shit and keep a smile on their faces. I know their hands are tied as much as any of us when we are at "a job" but their commitment to staying positive and giving real effort doesn't go unnoticed. read more

Fabulous Loft Building & Top Notch management! I moved into the Chapman over a year ago and I have been happy since day one! My lease at the Chapman is up and the only reason I am leaving is because I just received a large promotion at work and need a larger space to accommodate a home office. If the Chapman had an available unit that was larger I would be extending me lease and would be upgrading to a larger unit. Upon writing the review the Chapman is currently at about 98% occupancy! My loft overlooks 8th and Spring and gets a ton of sunlight. The fit and finish of each unit is unique but includes high end appliances along with polished cement floors and mosaic tile in the bathroom and as a backsplash in the kitchen. The windows are old style windows and are made of thick single panes of glass. I get some street noise and bus noise off of spring but this is downtown LA.. if you want peace and quiet move to a nice little suburb in Orange County. Matter of fact I quite like the street noise and have gotten use to it.. walls are also made of brick and concrete so you will probably never hear your neighbors! The GYM, Laundry Facilities are located in the basement and the roof top has spectacular views overlooking the financial district and skyline. The spa and barbeques are also a nice amenity! Parking is down the street up Broadway in a secure structure about 250 feet from the front door. Jet and Tamara are also key assets to the Chapman! Tamara and Jet are friendly and are accommodating. If I ever had a problem in my unit such as needing the air filter replaced or needing a light bulb changed they always made sure the work order was submitted and followed up to ensure that the work had been completed. George the onsite handy man is also really nice and enjoys his work. Over all this is a great place to live in downtown LA. I highly recommend this place and I am giving it 5 stars!! read more

I can't say enough good things about the management, Tamara and Jet. From day one, things have been a breeze for us moving all the way from Texas into a place we had never seen in person. We absolutely love the area and even though it can get hectic at nights, it always stays outside and we feel secure in our building. We've been here for almost 6 months and have just signed another year lease without hesitation. Management really makes a huge difference and Tamara and Jet make this building worth living in! read more

This building would be a great place to live as long as you don't live on the 2nd or 3rd floor and face Broadway. I've been living downtown for a while so noise from the street and traffic is to be expected, but I have never lived above a sports bar turned nightclub before. On Thursday through Sunday you can pretty much forget about a nice, quiet evening at home and good luck if you need to go to be early. The sound of bass from the music vibrating through the concrete floor has seemed to get progressively worse and the crowds congregating outside the front of the bar can be quite unruly at times. Perhaps if I lived on the other side of the building or a little higher up I could give this place a higher score, because the management and staff are great. But I am counting the days until my lease is up and I'm gone. Oh, and to you pathetic dog owners that don't pick up your dog's shit in the alley, you seriously need an ass beating. read more

I love this place! I moved in about a month ago and am extremely happy. I looked at A LOT of places Downtown and the Chapman had the best of all worlds. The staff here is one of the best compared to many other buildings that have the same features and luxury feel. My calls and email inquiries were always returned within a day. Other places either never called me back or waited over 4 days to return my call! Crazy. Jet and Tamara, the leasing agents and management, are fantastic. They will sign/hold packages for you when you are not available and answer emails and questions within hours of sending them. I've needed various things fixed in my unit (i.e. blinds were broken, window broken, and towel rack loose), and they were all fixed within 1 day. I have been so pleased and impressed! The rooftop garden/BBQ/spa area is gorgeous and the other amenities are great as well (TV room, gym, large laundry room). The kitchens are fantastic and have beautiful design schemes with upgraded appliances. I also love that the floors are POLISHED concrete as opposed to unfinished (don't even know how you would clean those!) I live in a unit on the corner at the back of the building facing the alley (and a parking lot, so I have a great, clear view with lots of sunlight coming in) and 8th street on the side. The street noise has never bothered me, and the walls are so thick here that I've never even heard my neighbors at all!! I love it here and never want to leave!! read more
