Great place to go to for lunch or dinner. They have mainly Italian food here but there are also other dishes that they make such as chicken and seafood dishes. I decided to order the Chicken Supreme which is what I usually get when I come here. It came with two side dishes so I picked the oven roasted potatoes and since I did not like the selections of vegetables that they had at the time my server allowed me to switch out the vegetables for some onion rings which was a good thing. The server that I had, Mounir, did a great job and was very nice. He was very friendly and provided fast and efficient service. He also was very attentive and came by our table a couple of times to see if we needed anything and to make sure we were satisfied with our meals. The inside desperately needs an update, and if your restaurant has a keno, you shouldn't be the type of place charging $27 for a chicken parm. Stoughton restaurant has extremely RUDE customer service. Called today to find out information about bereavement catering. The woman who answered was curt, unhelpful and acted like I was bothering her because I had questions. She lost out on at least a $2,000 catering deal because of her rudeness. Suggest she (perhaps the whole staff if this applies to all) get some customer service training and realize that we clients are the reason why the restaurant exists and to treat us rudely only makes us take our business elsewhere. The ravioli were clearly the ready-made kind, the primary seasoning in the sauce was salt, the chicken Parm was thick and leathery, and the fettuccine - which were egg noodles, not fettuccine, cooked till mushy - tasted like nothing more nor less than ricotta - not even a hint of parmigiana. One drink and that was it. The food was good. Just average. Atmosphere was old. Very few people in the restaurant and same for the bar area. Staff not the friendliest. I recently got the fried chicken dinner with artichoke dip as appetizer not only was the artichoke dip like no other made. It was beyond phenomenal, and then the dinner itself was amazing. Whoever came up with the seasoning and creamed corn knew what they were doing even down to the bread that was served with the dip. I have been coming here since I was a kid. Had birthday parties here and many dinners. We get take out family dinners at least 2 times a month. Chicken supreme and chicken parm are a favorite at our house. Great value to feed a family of 4-5 and you can add an extra piece of chicken for $5. I love the sauce and love the Chateau. read more

I have been eating here for many years , I recently found out I have Celiac disease but saw they have gluten free pasta so I was exited to get some chicken Parmesan , the chicken was tiny grilled chicken and about 28 cents worth of pasta and a little sauce, they charged me $27 DOLLARS for my meal , my food was way more than everyone else's, I don't mind paying for a good meal but I'm still hungry and now I'm poor, I feel like I just got robbed , i revived about $4.50 cents worth of food, not cool , way to price gouge the sick! read more

Nope not a fan. I ordered a create your own combo thinking Chicken Parmesan with another item included pasta. It did not. The toasted ravioli had a solid cheese inside. It was not even melted. It came with meat sauce which I was unaware of. The Chicken Parmesan is one of the worst I've ever had. The little sauce it did have just tasted like tomato purée. Forget the garlic parmesan bread because it's just a big thick piece of sesame bread with cheese. You need to provide sauce with that. I ordered through Door Dash. I ordered the Chicken Supreme with an extra side of gravy, the chopped salad and the Red Velvet Cheesecake. As you can see the cheesecake is questionable, I got no extra gravy and there was very little in the chicken. Chicken was tasteless and the potatoes tasted old. Baked scrod, very small piece swimming in oil or butter, taste just OK. Chicken parm sandwich, very small pieces of chicken, again taste just OK. Portion sizes are extremely small, quality is very low, and very overpriced for what you get. Bread was always great. Not anymore. Today's bread had been frozen and was still thawing when brought to the table. Butter was hard as a rock. The tarter sauce helped cover up the bland, oily flavor, but it didn't come with the dish when it was initially served; I was almost finished with the meal when the waiter finally returned, giving me a chance to ask for tarter sauce. He apologized and said it should have been put on the plate by the cook, but he didn't offer anything to compensate for the mistake. I was also just about finished with the fries and hadn't been given any ketchup. The place was empty, so there weren't any other customers there to compete for the waiter's attention. Given the poor quality, I thought the prices were very high. My expectations were low to begin with because the reviews I had read didn't seem very good. My family is all over the place. We like to meet up, from every direction. The Chateau in Stoughton is the best place. They have a menu you'll drool over. There were six of us. Plenty of table room. All loving the appetizers and those Toasted Raviolis. The menu has so many options. The men liked the plates with the three different options. I had the baked stuffed shrimp..some had the specials. This place was so good. I wasn't expecting much so I was pleasantly surprised. The younger hostess mastered the RBF but we looked past her the adult woman was pleasant. Dined here a few days ago. The Chateau is an institution and although it is not a go-to place for me, when I do go, I am usually very satisfied. This past week, I had the Broiled Haddock and my companion had the Broiled Scrod. We had the same sides: butternut squash and broccoli. The broccoli was perfectly cooked, not mush and not barely heated. The squash was delicious, not overly seasoned; it had a light and subtle hint of the cinnamon/sugar/pumpkin pie spice --- whatever it may be that the restaurant uses. The spice/seasoning did not overwhelm. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. The dinner portion was fine, not huge, but quite filling. The ambiance leaves something to be desired. It's always a little depressing to me to walk into the brownness of any of The Chateaus and the Stoughton Chateau does not disappoint. The staff is pleasant and there is plenty of parking. Would it be my first or fifth choice for dinner? Probably not. But does it do the job well. Yes. I was not disappointed or dissatisfied with any part of the experience. I would certainly go back for the Broiled Haddock. I forgot to mention the garden salad we had with out meal. It was very fresh, crisp, plentiful. It was largely Iceberg lettuce of which I am a fan; I don't like the baby greens that I fear restaurants dump out of a plastic bag directly onto a salad plate without a stop at the sink for a cleaning. read more
