Absolutely awful AGAIN! I gave it I think a good two years before coming back to give it a shot. The service was horrible. Our bartender was also our server and she was clearly spread thin. Meanwhile other servers are meandering around looking clueless. The skinny cosmopolitan drink was good. The skinnylicious salmon I ordered dry. It arrived swimming in a puddle of oily water. I couldn't even track down our server to rectify it so I just went up and found a random server for some paper napkins in an attempt to mop up the excess. It was just a disaster. Under seasoned and overly oily. To top it off the utensils were gross again! The last time I came I didn't even eat because you could see smeared food on the "clean" silverware. There is only so far of being busy to being service negligence. When you politely say something about it, they are very polite and respect return but they act like they have no knowledge that there's even a problem. They just smile at you and say, "OK." Are you serious? It's took 45 minutes to bring me my appetizer and all you can do is smile you don't even offer anything or say you're gonna check on my entrée? We have been eating at the Green Hills Cheesecake Factory every weekend for 3 years straight. This specific one is our favorite. We always get a reservation so that we can sit at a booth. The food is so good and fresh, and I've had almost all their cheesecakes with the exception of a few, and their carrot cake is phenomenal! The ambiance is casual and clean. Also a quick mention that the female manager with the very short hair is fantastic. She does a great job with her crew. I can say that typically we love the Cheesecake Factory and frequent various locations, even when traveling. This location near our home has consistently been on the bottom of the list. It suffers from very slow service time, with today being approximately 45 minutes to receive our meal. The food was lacking in presentation and taste. Typically the servers are marginal, but the gentleman we had today was excellent, despite such a poor back of the house. The location in Cool Springs does everything better, and we obviously need to dine there exclusively. There needs to be a hard look at this location, as it has been subpar for so long, with so much promise but no results. read more

Decided to give them another chance after a bad experience 9 months ago. At that time I contacted Corporate with no response. For years we lived near the Corporate office in Agoura Hills CA and always had great experiences there and other locations across the US. Our experience today was made marginal only due to our server who goes by the name of "Nicky". She made the experience wonderful in spite of the chaos. She has been employed here for 10 years and she expressed that things are chaotic. I noticed that the manager was on duty today as last time, and again he made no effort to stop by and ask how things are. The entire staff seems to running in circles. The food, however was very good, only due to our server taking control. The condition of the store also looked under par compared to other Cheesecake locations. All of the food is solid, the burgers, sandwiches and pasta are always a good choice. The service can be hit or miss, but when the server is attentive then it's great! As my last review for this location was over a decade ago, it seemed worth an update particularly given my recent visit and the fact that--nothing has really changed either for the good or bad aspects of this location in particular? Service is still pretty friendly and good, the food is still of good quality--for a chain restaurant with an enormous menu, it's usually a solid bet for a better than decent meal. This time around, I had the steak diane and my wife had the orange chicken. We also tried the baked brie appetizer that is new, and (what drew us to make this reservation) used our "Cheesecake Rewards" to split a slice of chocolate tuxedo cheesecake. However--cleanliness is still an issue here. I've been here 2-3 times a year for the past decade. It's a convenient location when you're catching a movie at the GH Regal and/or for many other stops. The Rewards program is solid. The food is usually dependable. But no matter what time of day or night, the bathrooms are dirty or unstocked, the menus need a wipedown, and often the counters and tables/booths do as well. This time--there was a horrific stench wafting across the front of the restaurant as you entered the door. When my wife attempted to wash her hands she found the women's bathroom completely closed "for maintenance" and was directed to another restaurant two doors down if she wished to care for her own hygiene. This was a Friday evening. Pretty full(ish) restaurant, so maybe they're right in that people will overlook these things. But it made us pause and wonder if we should go elsewhere if something that blatant and on the surface was lacking in cleanliness. Ultimately our appointment in the neighborhood and our reasoning that surely there was clean water and soap for employees in the back kept us there. But we shouldn't have had to have this deliberation before a meal of almost $100. This location should have closed earlier in the day and gotten a plumber out--are you even supposed to stay open without granting customers a bathroom and/or sink to clean up? Our food was good, we did not get ill, and are server was friendly. But taking an interest in the cleanliness of your location is well overdue here. read more

Cookie Dough Lover's Cheesecake with Pecans: Dessert is arguably the best part of a meal, so how can one not be excited by a restaurant with a name that implies large quantities of cheesecake are manufactured there!? I've tried most of the Cheesecake Factory's cake flavors that I intend to, as a few just don't appeal to me (mostly the fruity ones, yuck!). It's a slow process since I like returning to my favorites rather than risk trying a new one every time I go. Plus, they offer over 30 varieties. Cookie Dough is a relatively new member of their menu as it was added in 2023. It's a creamy cheesecake loaded with chocolate chip pecan cookie dough and topped with cookie dough frosting. Initially I had some trepidation about trying it as I'm not a huge fan of nuts in my desserts. Thankfully, I didn't feel that the miniscule amounts of pecans made much of a difference. Great for me but might not be for you if you're getting it for the pecans. This is in contrast to the chocolate chips teeming on and within the slice. The chips add a magnificent texture contrast to the creamy cheesecake. Speaking of cheesecake, the actual cheesecake portion is just what I've come to expect, creamy, sweet and tangy (but not overly so). Possibly the most unique aspect is the crust. There's no official description on the menu, but I swear it's like an actual cookie! Lastly is the phenomenal cookie dough frosting, which my only complaint is there's not enough (probably a good thing though considering the slice is already 1,550 calories). I am someone who likes a bit of a burnt taste but they were fully charred and inedible. Our server took them off and she was very understanding about it. My pasta was ok but that's that. Less than pleasant guy behind bakery counter, waited for curbside and never received a text and went inside, no utensils given, I'm giving this location two stars without even getting to my cheesecake because I'm sure it will be delicious. When I placed my order online the instructions said I would get a text when my order was ready, so I ran into a store right inside the mall while I waited. At 7:20 I had not received any text, so I headed over to the restaurant to walk in and check on my order. The hostess directed me to a bakery line and I waited for another five minutes or so. My food was sitting there ready. At this point 45 minutes had gone by. When I got back to my hotel to eat - no utensils. Not only did I order a meal that included beef medallions, I ordered a slice of cheesecake and an additional piece of a different kind. My job consists of weekly travel and eating out. This happens all the time. Should I have asked for them? Maybe and I ALMOST did but I figured it wasn't necessary at The Cheesecake Factory. My takeout order - left a 20% tip of $5.04. Paid cash for the cheesecake add-on (cost $8 and some change) - $5 cash tip. Hopefully dessert will make up for this disappointing experience. The food came out hot and fresh. I had the pasta and my hubs had the chicken and waffles. The pasta was a great Smokey flavor with the bacon, but the peas seemed a bit like frozen peas. The chicken and waffles were great, the tenders had a sort of semisweet batter and the Belgian waffle was crispy. I also got my favorite, the pineapple upside down cheesecake to go. Normally I'm not a fan of chain restaurants, but this was for a family members birthday. We had great service all night long, and all the food we tried was pretty impressive. The avocado tacos were a perfect size for an entree (4 smaller street tacos) and packed a bunch of flavor. I'd highly recommend them if you're a fan of fried avocado. The spicy crispy chicken sandwich was what impressed me the most. The chicken was incredibly tender and the chipotle mayo gave it the perfect amount of spicy kick. Fries were mediocre. The Reese's cheesecake was delicious but I recommend sharing due to how rich it is. You can color me surprised with how good all the food was, albeit you're paying a premium for it. I was actually pretty excited to have the chance to come eat here again. I remember I used to come here all the time. This mall stays packed so parking can be a little difficult at times. We usually just park in the garage when we're at this mall. We were here on a weekday and got right in without a wait around 5pm. It wasn't very packed for dinner time. Food wise: we started off with the crab wontons. It wasn't bad. I liked how the wonton sheets they used were thin and they also used real crab meat, which is really hard to find crab wontons at places where they actually use real crab meat. i I prefer mine a little more sweeter than these ones, though. It wasn't bad at all though if you don't prefer them sweet. I also tried their fish n chips. Their fish n chips wasn't bad, either. I also tried their club sandwich. This location is in the mall so all mall parking is available for customers. Of course, Cheesecake Factory is a bit on the fancier side but on a weeknight, I was pleased to find people in casual wear much like myself! To start, they gave us free bread and butter. The bread was fresh and the butter was at the perfect room temperature. For my main dish, I got the veggie burger with french fries. The fries were delicious and fresh. I loved the burger itself. The outside was crunchy and the inside was generously filled. The garlic sauce complimented the burger well! Honestly, I would've given Cheesecake Factory 5 stars but upon seating, we realized we had dirty silverware at our table. I've tried many orange chicken meals from many different places, but the cheesecake factory orange chicken is on a whole different level. It tastes sooo good and very flavorful. The guava sparkler was extremely sweet. I couldn't finish it only because it was a little too sweet but some people might like that. Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed because it was a lot of us. He gave us fresh bread which is my favorite, and refilled our drinks when needed. It was pretty quiet with faint music in the background which is nice because we could hear each other talk. The parking wasn't bad only because we came on a weekday, but during the weekends it can get very packed and hard to find parking if you want to park in front of the restaurant. Firstly, when we approached the receiptionist, the young boy seemed to have expected us to greet him first as if we were working there and just looked at us until we said something. After we said hello, he gave a rude hello back with a snobby attitude. The wait for our seats weren't terrible, felt about 5-10 minutes. Once seated, it took about 10 minutes just for our server to greet us and give us napkins for our drinks then proceeded to say that he needed to go take someone else's order which took another 10 minutes for him to come back. After he finally came back with our drinks, he took our order and everything was fine. However, the time for our food was almost an hour and thirty minutes for 3 dishes. We had no issue waiting but when we tasted the food, it was probably below average in our opinion. We ordered two pastas which were bland and a pizza which tasted very underwhelming as well. Probably better off going to an Olive Garden. Overall, save yourself some time of not coming here. I've had a couple of different slices but I really like the Carrot Cheesecake, the Lemon raspberry cheesecake and the red velvet cheesecake. I recently tried the Tiramisu and that flavor was delicious. Not too sweet and not overpowering. My biggest issue with this place is time to receive your order. I think it's contingent on how busy the restaurant is. The first time I came, it took almost 20 minutes for them to get me two slices. For something right in front of you, I wouldn't expect it to take that long with no line but I think they have to prioritize the customers sitting in the restaurant.
