I've been going to this place for years. It's a Scratch kitchen and I believe they have other locations in other states. I used to go there on Sundays and sit at the bar and watch Nascar. That was 15 years ago. Anyway--- It is consistently good and the food comes in Big Portions so bring your appetite. The server we had today was super nice and she provided great service. All of the staff were friendly. They have a full bar and plenty of free parking. The menu has a large selection of dishes such as Apps, Steaks, Chicken , Shrimp, Chops, Handhelds, Salads and Chef's Specialties. My favorite lunch stop. I have lunch there on average 2 times a week. Normally great service and always fantastic food. Well today was not good. My server Amanda was not attentive at all. My salmon was a little dry but still good. When I finished my lunch it took Amanda over 15 minutes to check on me. She never checked on me to see if I needed a refill on my ice tea or how my meal was. This is very much not like the other servers I have had in the past. Everyone has a day that they are not on top of there game I understand that but Amanda did not do her job. I did have a good lunch and yes the banana pudding. I could not help myself. We LOVE Rafferty's! When my husband and I go there, we always ask for Ali! Our first visit there, she was so kind and warned me that the fried mushrooms come out really hot temperature wise, so she always warns her customers, so they don't burn their mouth. I honestly can't remember a time where anyone has ever done that. I'm in the service industry, so I always warn parents with children, so their children don't get burned, but this was above and beyond in my opinion. We LOVE their potato soup! We always get some to go when we leave because it's just that good. The Buffalo chicken tenders are my hubby's favorite because they're made fresh. The salads are HUGE and a meal for 2-3 people. The Backyard BBQ burger is so good, but I recommend getting the BBQ sauce on the side, so your napkin doesn't look like a crime scene. At the last minute a group of about 30+ decided we all needed a late lunch. We arrived about 2pm on a Friday afternoon. The restaurant was still pretty full at this time. However in a matter of minutes the full staff cleared tables and sat us all in small groups but still together in the same space. Our server was quick and expediant with our orders. Even took immediate ownership of bringing the wrong beverages which were quickly replaced. Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed their food options. My friend and I both ordered this same dish. It wasn't what we had expected but neither of us didn't want to be a bother being part of the larger crowd. Our server addressed the issue and almost immediately the manager appeared without being asked to be seen. After a brief and courteous conversation the issue was resolved. Told my waiter the chicken on my sandwich was a small piece (like a tender). He said he couldn't tell because he couldn't see the part I ate, and that he didn't make it."I can take it back". We went to the Rafferty's at 100 Oaks on Friday July 21, 2023. It was my nieces going away college dinner and we walked in around 4:30, and stated we had a party of 10. The host said perfect we can't seat you until your whole party has arrived. It being a friday night, made 100% sense. Upon everyone arriving, they tried to sit us at two different tables which I was upset about as again it is my nieces going away party a little family function. The manager came over and we were upset and we started to pull two tables together and they advised us to stop. Tensions were high, so the manager asked one of us adults to come over and talk. I thought he was going to ask me to talk like a grown adult. Instead, he said to me "can't you read" we can't seat parties of 8 or more at one table. The sign isn't at the front of the store, it's off to the left and on a booth that you would have to look down at. So, no, i never once saw the sign, and if we had, we would've left. Again, when we walked in, not only time in the five times I told them I had a party of 10 did they not tell me you couldn't sit together, but they were rude towards my entire family. So let me tell you, I have a mother that can't see, so to insult someone for not being able to read is distasteful, on top of that, one of our party is deaf and another is handicap. So again, his words weren't welcomed. Now, as we were getting ready to leave, tensions were high and the manager kept on saying "cant you read, can't you read?" One of the managers name was Andre Richmond and the other was an old white man. The latter on the way out the door called me a PEASANT, yes you read that right, he called me a PEASANT. I have never in my life been treated so poorly at a restaurant and disrespected. Just want to preface by saying my partner and I love rafferty's and definitely will be returning. However, we had an experience with a server last night that has never happened to us any other place we have dined. Our server started off nice. While she was taking our order she was rushing us and seemed as though she wasn't really paying attention (repeating order back to us 2-4 times, each time needing a correction & ultimately our food was wrong) I asked if our cokes could be replaced with teas, since my boyfriend is a little more shy than I am. She acted as if it was no problem and took our drinks to the back. After receiving our appetizer, we waited a few more minutes hoping she'd bring our drinks. I ran to the restroom and while walking there, I spotted her in the back. I came back out of the restroom, made eye contact with her, and returned to my table where I noticed we still hadn't received our drinks. At this point, we had an uneaten appetizer & our meals at our table, so I decided to approach the server (not entering the kitchen, still by tables) and kindly asked if we could get our drinks soon. She was super snappy and said she was working on it. I figured, since we asked for teas, it was still brewing and honestly I felt like I may have been the a****** in the situation as I've served before myself. Once I sat down at the table, she came around the corner with our drinks (this was about 20 minutes after initially taking them.) She stopped at a table near us and talked with them for a few moments, then dropped our teas off (ice cold, not freshly brewed. Which wasn't a big deal at all, I just had already made excuses for her in my brain and figured it'd be fresh lol) We began to eat and before our drinks were halfway empty, the server came back with more drinks and said "I know how you are about your teas." I was shocked. During all the interactions we had, I was still super kind. I still had my manners when I was asking for our teas after returning from the restroom. The server did not return back to our table to check on us at all, even though she was checking on all tables around us. We had to flag her down for our check, and when she gave my partner the check, she decided to look at me and call him a baby name. (I grew up in the south, had she called him love/baby/sweetheart prior to the interaction I would've never thought twice, but this was clearly a dig) Like I said, my partner and I love Rafferty's! Every other server we have had was phenomenal and truly so kind. We weren't comfortable saying anything to the manager in the moment as we just wanted to go home, date night vibes were really low at that point. If you're the server reading this, I hope today is better. We have never NOT tipped before (we only tip 20%+) and I think that speaks volumes to the service we received. Rafferty's we still love ya! My wife and I try and eat here anytime we are in the area. The ambience is great, if you are a sports fan there are multiple TVs in the bar area but it is still quite enough to hold a conversation without shouting. Bear in mind it stays extremely busy for lunch so get there early. I hadn't been to Rafferty's in 10 years or so. I went with two other adults and a child. It was Friday night so I thought we'd have to wait, but it was not crowded so we were seated at once. Oh, it was cold! The air conditioning was on full blast and other customers were cold. We asked to waiter to see if it could be turned down; he said he had and soon it began to warm up. Soon a manager came by to see if we were comfortable. Service was quick and the waiter checked on us several times. I had the California Burger with bacon. Fried were my side. Food was good and plentiful. There was a child's menu and the grilled cheese sandwich sounded good; I would have liked it. The place is a bit tired. The men's restroom was not as well taken care of as I hoped, but acceptable. I didn't have an alcoholic drink as I had sweet tea which was fine. The manager checked on us several times. Good spot for a meal with good customer service. I went with a client at his recommendation and I must say that I found it an overall positive experience. I went with the club sandwich, which was a huge lunch. You get a side and I chose french fries. If you are hungry, this seems to be a good option. My client had the chef salad, which was pretty big, as well. If you recall a particular "Seinfeld" episode where Elaine asked for a big salad, well, she would have been pretty impressed with the size of that salad. You can sit inside or outside, since it was a great day, outside it was. The table and chairs made for a comfortable experience. I will give this establishment an enthusiastic thumbs up and strongly recommend it. My only complaint was that the open faced prime rib ssndwich sounded good, but was only available after four and that the menu is a bit limited. With all of the great dining options in Nashville, I can't think of too many valid reasons to go to a restaurant like Raffertys-- a mid-range family fast casual chain. However, there aren't a lot of options in the immediate vicinity of the Regal Hollywood 27 which is how I ended up here some time back. The service was super friendly and efficient and the place is clean. The food is by no means bad, but it is pricey for what it is. For example, there are chicken tenders on the menu (with fries) that cost as much as (and more than some) of the steak options which is inexplicable. You can get quality fried chicken and/or chicken tenders at 100 places in Nashville for half the price. The burgers are about what you'd expect from a place like this--better than fast food, not quite as good as some gourmet spots, but 1.5x the cost of what they should be. So--it'll do in a pinch, but it's not something to go out of the way for. read more

Ordered my steak medium and it literally came out raw. Had it recooked, came back with burnt outside and still raw on inside. I ate the burnt parts because I was so hungry & had about 6oz of my 8pm steak I couldn't eat. Asked for check and the server threw it on the table and didn't talk to us again.
