The interior always seems clean and well-run, although lately the area by the cheesecake counter has smelled like sweat, not sure why? Maybe the mats by the door need to be washed. Stopped by tonight for a little sweet treat. We used the walk-in dessert bar for pickup, which was really nice and convenient. The service was quick, and they even had a small waiting area that made the process easy and organized. I grabbed a slice of Linda's Fudge Cake and a slice of the Original Cheesecake. This place almost ruined my wedding anniversary! First off, you couldn't hear anything the hostess said. Either turn the music down, or have them speak up instead of whispering. A 15-20 minute wait took 30 minutes! Then it took around 5 minutes for the hostess to get a baby car sling when we told them we needed one when we walked in. Still no waitress in site. Saw a female manager walk by and didn't even notice the car seat on the table. After we got the car seat sling, it was another 5 minutes before Michelle came up. Introduced herself. Looked like she didn't want to be there. She took our drink order and disappeared. After ANOTHER 5-7 minutes we finally just got up and left. Zero wait which was nice. As always Cheesecake has incredibly consistent recipe preparation and the food was excellent all the way through cheesecakes. By now everyone realizes it great value for the price for the most part. We waited about 4/5 minutes before our waitress took our drink order, asked if we wanted bread, of course CF has great bread. Brought our drinks and told us, waiting on fresh bread, totally understandable. Came back and took our order, waitress was very attentive, telling my wife about a particular dish and told her the sauce might be too hot, but everyone has diff palates, again totally agreeable. This is when the service went downhill immediately It took 25 minutes to get bread, other tables around us got bread before us, we were seated 30 minutes before we got bread, that's crazy. Another server brought our food, it was hot and the food was amazing. Our waitress walked bye our table 4 or 5 times and never acknowledged us, ie; the food ok or do you need refills. I flagged another waiter down and I explained the situation, he was more attentive to our needs than our server, asked if we needed to speak to a manager, we said no, just making him aware of the service. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience tonight. I arrived at Cheesecake Factory about two hours before closing to place a to-go order. When I walked up to the host stand, several staff members were standing there chatting, but no one acknowledged me until I specifically asked for a menu. That initial lack of basic hospitality immediately set the tone. After reviewing the menu, I went to the to-go counter where I was helped by a very friendly employee. He took my order, gave me an estimated wait time, and even offered to bring the food out to my car if I pulled up front -- which I appreciated. However, that's where things went downhill. He brought an order out to the car in front of me, then came to my car and remembered I had just placed my order, letting me know it would be another 5-10 minutes. I waited. And waited. Eventually, I went back inside to check on it. When I approached the counter, a server and hostess were talking across the counter while I stood there for several minutes without being acknowledged. Only after they finished their conversation did someone ask if I needed help. When I asked about my order, they requested a name -- but no name had been taken when I ordered. The employee then looked down and read the receipt off a bag sitting right next to him. My food had clearly been sitting there for who knows how long. To make matters worse, when I got home, I realized the two desserts I ordered were missing entirely. On top of that, the food looked nothing like what's advertised on the menu. Between the lack of acknowledgment, poor communication, my order sitting unattended, and missing items, this was a very frustrating experience. Went on Mother's Day without a reservation so it was very busy! Despite the crowd we were able to be seated within about 25-30 mins. Our server was nice and helped us make accommodations to our meals with ease. We got three diff pastas, honey chipotle chicken, Louisiana chicken and spicy sausage and rigatoni. It was graduation day for my granddaughter and she wanted to go to the Cheesecake Factory. We waited for about 45 min for a table we were seven and the Hostess told us that it would be a 15 min wait and we were fine with that, so we went to the bar to get a drink and the 15 min went by then 10 min went by, so my daughter went back up to the Hostess and she said they were waiting for someone to clean the round table and it would be a 20 mins more wait, my daughter said fine. Meanwhile there was a table right in front of us by the bar that could seat 8 people, no one was at this table for about 30 minutes, and I told my daughter but she said they were cleaning a round table for us. We see all these families coming is and being seated and by this time we were very hungry finally my daughter went back and they said they were ready to seat us and what do you know it was the table by the bar that we saw 40 mins ago we were like what happened to the round table? Finally we were seated the they took our drink and appetizer order, he said he would be back with some bread we were like good finally we were going to eat something till we get our food came. He came back with our drinks but no bread, so we asked where the bread was so he said he was gonna go back and get it. Not gonna lie - I'm not the biggest cheesecake factory fan in that many times I've gone there the food was meh. But this time I had a really incredible food experience! We ordered simple things, but these things really hit the spot. First I ordered a caramel latte or caramel macchiato? I can't remember which one but it was amazing! Lots of whipped cream that they readily refilled when I needed more! The drizzle too! I also ordered the chicken tortilla soup. soup was amazing! I wasn't that hungry but it really left an impression. Definitely something I would try again in the future. Tasted fresh and the ingredients blended well together. Tortillas were nice - they got soggy pretty quickly, but still went well with the soup. My friend ordered the sweet corn tamale cakes. I got to try some of this and wow it was really good! The corn cakes had a nice consistency not too hard or grainy but just really good. The sweetness of the corn went well with the savoriness of the salsa and sour cream. Overpriced, underseasoned, hard bread. I have not been here for months, but I'm writing this review while eating Fish N Chips at a state where prices are significantly higher than Texas, and I'm eating fish N chips here that are cheaper, and tastier than the ones at cheesetrash factory. The Garbage Factory's fish is smelly, costs like 20 something bucks for frozen garbage, when you can go anywhere else. The bread is so hard you'd think you'll have to use it to beat your loved ones for bringing you there. Servers are always very nice, and it is never their fault. I would rather give them all the money spent on my bill than pay the restaurant. read more

This is my second visit and holy cow the food is spectacular. I could believe all the flavors I got from my plate. The chicken was perfect, the salad with a balsamic taste, the prosciutto and finally the pesto angel hair pasta. The atmosphere is truly awesome everyone having a good time. Takeout was disappointing and unacceptable. We live quite close by, but everything was cold, soggy and hard. We had dinner there recently and the food was decent, the service warranted a 25% tip. So, We decided to try dinner takeout, a huge mistake. They shortchanged us on pieces of fish & the cod was 2 inches long with a hand full of old fries. The Nachos were piled high with almost no sauce, a tsp guacamole & sour cream. The meat chopped on top was a joke. I found the cold nachos inedible. We haven't been to cheesecake factory in at least 10 years but were given a gift card recently so visited them last week. Let me just start by saying that this visit reignited my love for The Cheesecake Factory! As I remembered their menu is extensive with truly something for everyone, at various price points. They also had a menu of specials which all seemed to be priced lower than the regular menu. Two of us ordered burgers, and the other ordered the chicken Caesar salad. All of them were huge portions, the food was fresh and hot, and really delicious! Someone suggested that we join the rewards club, which I did ahead of time, and we got a free slice of cheesecake. The place was normal Cheesecake Factory style. The table was gritty with food residue stuck like concrete as if the cleaning had been cursory for a long time. My party was four adults and two children. None of the dishes were fantastic, but mine was awful. It was a chopped salad with chicken and the lettuce was a dull green color like it was old or had been frozen. I have had Wendy's salad that was better than this. We asked the waiter for some Parmesan for the fettuccine which never came until we flagged down another server. The calamari appetizer was actually quite good. Overall my rating is a solid 3. However, the spicy rigatoni vodka is a fantastic 5. Unfortunately hubby's shrimp and chicken gumbo fell short and only gets a 3. The sauce was watery; the shrimp were rubbery and tough, and the chicken was either tender or chewy. Hubby ate half so it wasn't entirely inedible. The restaurant is huge and quite cool; all the women had sweaters. Our server, Oshay, on the other hand, was welcoming and friendly, and apologetic when we told him about the gumbo and immediately told the manager who came over and also apologized, took notes and mentioned he would speak to the chef.
