Enlightened Strawberry Fields Salad With Chicken

I was excited to try BJ's for the first time, but I don't plan on coming back. It was a Sunday night, and we were quickly seated. However, I feel like there was a shortage of servers because we sat around for about 20-30 minutes, wondering when our server would come. He was a nice guy, but he seemed preoccupied with other tables/tasks for most of the time. It took a long time to find him for water refills and the check. I got the $13 pizookie meal deal and went with the strawberry fields salad with the strawberry shortcake pizookie. I also got a side of the honey sriracha brussel sprouts. The salad was decent, but I had to flag down our server because it didn't come with dressing. He told me it should've already been in the salad, but it was definitely just dry lettuce haha. My friends who hate brussel sprouts were actually surprised by how good they were, but personally I'd rather just make them at home since the side cost $6.99!! The personal pizookie was the perfect size for me. I don't plan on coming back because of the slow service.

My first visit to the Sugar Land location was with a party of seventeen. BJ's Staff did an excellent job of taking a late reservation and accommodating a large party with a single server. We were spilt into two tables yet no one had lengthy waits during the entire event. The food had mixed reviews from the members of the party. The most frequent complaint, the food was not warm or hot. However, my Hickory Brisket burger and fries were four stars. I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea that fell short of expectations. I am a BJ's fan and will return without the challenges of a very large party.

Atmosphere/Service: It's ok for a casual, chain dining sports bar type experience. We had a party of 15 and they did a good job accommodating us with service. They had to set us up in 2 side-by-side table groupings which we didn't prefer but I understand the space constraints. The food actually came out pretty quickly once we ordered. Drinks: Drinks are pretty watered down. Margaritas & long island iced teas were very light on the alcohol as stated by numerous people at the table. It's a chain. So again, I get it. Food: The food received mixed reviews. Some people enjoyed they're entrees, others did not. Thumbs up for the shrimp power bowl, brisket & bacon burger, broccoli & cheese bread soup bowl, chili, & jambalaya. Thumbs down for the deep dish ziti & brewhouse bite sampler. The consistent complaint was those food items were dry, overcooked & lacked flavor. As for the tomato & mozzarella salad, I was expecting a traditional caprese salad because I didn't read the menu very well so it surprised me that its really a green salad with tomatoes & mozzarella drizzled with balsamic dressing, not caprese style. Nonetheless, it was actually good & had the caprese taste. Summary: BJs is a nice big space, TVs on the walls & nice upbeat background music. It's a sports bar chain. Some dishes are better than others so choose wisely. Come because it's convenient not because you are a foody.

Nothing like drinks and food before a movie. Our waiter was nice and always check on us. We also got to speak to the manager and he was also nice and joked with us for a minute. The men loved the hard root beer. They said it had the root beer flavor minus the fizz. My mini pizza was delicious and the perfect size the finish in one seating. My husband only complaint was they didn't have enough spicy/hot wings flavors on their menu.

    Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Pizookie

We came in on a busy night without a reservation and took an open high-top. Service felt a little stretched, but we don't point our 3 star to this. We didn't have the best experience ordering with our waiter. Despite a gluten-sensitive menu and clearly marked items, our server wasn't familiar with gluten intolerance, or kitchen processes. At this time, we weren't given the gluten free men, but we frequent here. My wife asked about the bottomless soup and salad limited time deal in a sleeve of the. Normal menu and ordered the chilli, and we asked for baked wings with two sauces. When the wings arrived only half of the wings had sauce and the other half had no seasoning at all . This is where my issue with the wait time comes in, but reminder we didn't have a reservation. Once we got his attention after they brought out our entrées, he then says that he could bring a side of sauce without offering something else because that wasn't what we ordered and he didn't stop by the table for quite some time During this discussion, he also made a comment about the chili being made with beer and asking if she was OK mind you he knew she was gluten intolerant before she ordered chili yet we ordered off the normal menu could go both ways. I think training needs to be enhanced. On the plus side, my BBQ burger was solid. Unfortunately, we gave the gluten-free chocolate chip Pizookie another try and it was overbaked again, similar to our last experience. If quality improvement is your goal and you have the ability to make changes in the process then I suggest decreasing the temperature or bake time if it's premade dough or adding more moisture to compensate for gluten-free dough dryness by increasing the butter or eggs

Pizookie was so soft, gooey, chocolatey heaven. One bite and you're hooked. Nice little dessert!

What a great dinner with a friend. I had the Surf & Turf Stack Tender 8 oz. filet mignon* + savory steakhouse-style rub four jumbo cajun-spiced shrimp sauted in Brewhouse Blonde garlic butter | served on a bed of white cheddar mashed potatoes | side of asparagus | fresh parsley Pre-cooked weight. Delicious. My friend had the Santa Fe Salad Blackened chicken breast crisp romaine | red onions | fire-roasted red peppers | jack + cheddar cheese avocado | sweet corn | tomatoes | crispy corn tortilla strips | santa fe dressing. They said it was delicious. I give the presentation and food ten stars.

Deep dish pizza comes with no toppings and hardly any cheese 2025. It wasn't like that back in the day... i will definitely never be back. Absolutely horrible unless you enjoy just dough. Also water never will be refilled

They need to put a sign up on the tiny road so you don't pass it up. First I will say I came here for a baby shower in one of the private rooms they offer. I cannot comment on the service because I did not need any. I also cannot comment on the food; it was provided by the party. What I can comment on is the parking - it was absolutely horrible! And that is being kind. They had a few spaces available in a field but to get to those spaces you had to drive through a 5 foot hole that was at least 4 feet deep! Thanks but no thanks I don't do off roading! At 2pm this place was packed! There was a DJ, people everywhere, small children everywhere and quite a few dogs. All in all, I am giving the stars for private room because that is what my experience consisted of.

The semi-off-roading experience driving up the long driveway did not reassure me that I had found the spot either. Limited parking spaces were even more limited due to giant potholes filled with water. I had to move my car because once I parked I couldn't get out without getting my shoes soaked. Venue itself is a huge warehouse space. Large shaded deck spans the building. Tables are picnic tables. Great airflow inside with large fans. There is a separate room attached to the large main hall with some high tops and foosball table. Live music this evening with local youth bands from School of Rock. Other touches around the room reinforced their community support (local art on the walls, silent auction for a charity). Great beer selection- B52 beers ranging from IPAs, Pils, Ale, coffee porter. I tried the Bishop Crackberry Cider- just enough sweetness and perfect for the summer night. Service was nice. Food is served outback from a food truck: They give you a buzzer so you don't have to wait around outside waiting for them to call your name. I shared a Chicken Vindaloo pizza with one other person. Portion size was perfect for 2 adults. Although it promised "tongue searing curry" it totally lacked spice. The Indian flavors were there though. Just don't promise me tongue searing- and it's ketchup level spicy. Thin crust was topped with chicken, Black Truffle Ricotta, Mozzerella, Basil- it was an unexpected exotic flavor to find at a traditional brewery.

It's built inside a historic garage, and you can still see the brewing equipment from the taproom, which gives the place a cool industrial feel. Plenty of indoor seating, a nice patio, and it just feels like somewhere you could hang out for a few hours. I ordered the SMASH Burger and made it a double. That was my mistake. The burger itself was excellent, hot, fresh, juicy, and cooked just right, but my eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach. The single would have been the perfect size for me. No complaints about the food at all. The beer was delicious too. They had a wide variety of lagers, IPAs, sours, and even a barrel-aged stout, so there was something for just about everyone. I appreciate breweries that don't make everything an IPA. Overall, I was really impressed. What started as an unplanned stop because of a billboard turned into one of the highlights of the drive. If you're passing through Columbus, Hound Song is absolutely worth pulling off the highway for.

Today, I had the Butter Beer. Yes, Butter Beer. It tastes like beer with butterscotch, and it's exactly what I imagine the stuff at Hogwarts tastes like. Dalton recommended it with salt, and I gave him a look but tried it both ways - turns out he was correct. Do try it with salt. Speaking of salt, don't sleep on the food either.
