They changed the Hawaiian BBQ chichen to all dark meat and I hate dark meat. If you want white meat, you need to actually ask for it. But how would you know that since it's not on the menu.

Excellent fish cooked to order. The French fries are to die for. The chicken wings are always fresh with real containers for your food

Seating at the bar is pretty spacious and has great service; they also expanded their outside seating that is covered. For food, I suggest trying the naked, smoked and flash fried wings. You can always get the sauce on the side. If you like bleu cheese, it's a little different here but I enjoy it even though I've never really liked bleu cheese. Also, you can't go wrong ordering the brisket eggrolls or the brussel sprouts.

The covered patio with string lights looked especially inviting and would be a great spot to hang out when the weather cooperates. To start, I tried the cornbread with a flavored butter spread. The bread was warm, moist, and had a nice sweetness that paired well with the savory butter. The collard greens were tender and flavorful with a comforting homemade taste. The space has the feel of a local sports bar where regulars gather to catch a game, grab a drink, and enjoy some comfort food. There was plenty of parking, and the service was friendly throughout my visit. If you're looking for a casual neighborhood spot in Odenton with Southern-inspired sides and a relaxed atmosphere, The Hideaway is worth checking out.

Attended the Dueling Piano event this evening which I paid roughly $45 for two tickets. The event…read morewas said to be high entertainment, audience participation and a fun filled evening. The two pianist did no dueling at all; they did mostly duets or took turns taking requests. I was hoping to witness a musical battle. In addition the food was horrid. I ordered the stuffed shrimp with the mushroom risotto but twice my shrimp were undercooked literally gray lines still on the shrimp. When I asked for melted butter for my broccolini I was given cubes of cold butter. I then ordered the short rib having given up on the shrimp and the short ribs slow cooked would surely be done and savory however the carrots could not be cut with a knife at all. I returned the dish and decided to give up. My partner ordered the fish and chips but the fish and chips had a charred old taste as the grease was old and therefore the food had a Smokey taste. I looked at my surroundings and everyone pretty much ordered sandwiches and fries of which they left ample amounts of food untouched. As for the drinks the holiday margarita was mostly ice, very thin small glass and there was no edible glitter in it as promised per the menu. No beers on draft. U had spoke highly of this place after my experience with Chef Ahmad but since I regret I can no longer speak highly. Last but not least the grinch and Santa were the personality for the evening and carried the energy. The waiter due to me not having any food did not comp, send over a manager or right the wrong. I will not return nor recommend. Either do events well or food well; this event was a miss on both. We left early as the event was mediocre at best but also I was hungry and in need of food.

I was seated immediately, and the wait staff was personable, attentive, and made the whole visit feel easy and enjoyable. The food was excellent--fresh, flavorful, and very reasonably priced. I was especially impressed by the variety on the menu. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, or a devoted meat lover, there's truly something for everyone. It's rare to find a place that caters so well to different dietary preferences without compromising on quality. I didn't order any alcoholic beverages this time, but their beer selection looked great, with plenty of appealing options for a future visit. Overall, Oscar's Alehouse delivered a wonderful lunch experience, and I'll definitely be returning.

My server, Travis, was very friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right throughout my visit. I started with a cup of French onion soup, and it was so good that I came back today just to order another cup. That alone says a lot. Yesterday I also ordered the Eldersburg Burger, cooked medium-well, paired with their hand-cut fries. This burger was juicy and flavorful--honestly tasted like something you'd get at a family cookout. The fries were delicious and complemented the burger perfectly. I also have to mention the sweet iced tea--it tastes fresh-brewed and has the perfect balance of sweetness. Today, even though I wasn't very hungry, I tried the crab dip. While it wasn't my absolute favorite, it was still good. I also sampled the carrot cake, which unfortunately was a bit dry for my liking. That said, I'll definitely be back--especially on Mondays, when burgers are $8 (with toppings at $1 each, and totally worth it). My server today also let me know about Wing Wednesday: 1 lb of wings for $8, any flavor. Say less! I'm already planning another visit so I can finally try the cream of crab soup, which is made daily. Can't wait to see if it lives up to the hype. Overall, Oscar's Alehouse delivers solid food, great service, and awesome weekly specials. See you soon!
