Despite the holiday season, the store was stocked full of things from pajamas to gym equipment. The only part of the store that was a little bare was the snack section near the front. Checkout lines were long but moved quickly, and the cashier that rung us up was all smiles. It wouldn't hurt to stop by if you're in the area. You may find something you need at a discounted price!

One hundred percent of the proceeds of items sold at this shop funds the Helotes Humane Society located right next door. The old house is the thrift shop. A driveway with a sign for drop off will direct you to the back of the house. A large sign is posted on the fence of items they do not accept. All the items sold at the thrift shop are well organized and labeled nicely. There are so many good finds! Lots of antiques and vintage items too. The ladies that work at the shop are very kind, friendly, and helpful. I bought a vintage knit nativity scene that I absolutely love, Christmas lights, coasters, and a tree skirt. They offer military discount on Thursday and senior discount on Friday. I had a blast at this shop and will be back. Besides the Helotes Humane society next door, there's also a small dog park behind it.

My wife and I came here to exchange some pants that were bought online because the size wasn't correct. They did give us a few problems at first, but the manager said they would take care of it and he did. Took a few stars away because other old navy stores do exchanges all the time without hesitation. The children's clothing section is pretty limited compared to other locations. Parking is decent, but for some reason they have several speed bumps which is unusual as no other Target has quite that many. Wondering if it's an Alamo Ranch driver problem that requires so many speed bumps in such close proximity. The value for what you get is comparable to other places - some groceries are only a few cents difference from our local three letter grocery chain. It doesn't draw me to purchase Target foods, but it doesn't deter me from buying stuff if I'm there. I'm anti-social so my favorite thing is that staff doesn't really acknowledge you unless you make direct eye contact in which case they usually smile or nod, occasionally asking how it's going. They don't offer help unless you ask which I'm honestly okay with, because all too often stores bombard you when you're familiar with the set up of the store or when you don't want assistance.
