My son comes home singing new songs and teaching me all he learned at school. He absolutely loves it there and so do I. Every morning when I drop him off, i get the best vibe from the place; they have soothing music in the background and tons of play areas for the children. There seems to be structure and freetime which I believe is so important for them at this age especially! This school offers preschool and pre k and they really go above and beyond. At that time when she started, she was 4.5 months old. I was scared at first due to COVID, but quickly noticed that they were taking great precautions. I felt safe knowing she was in good hands. Since January, I am truly impressed with the outstanding care she is receiving from Miss Lorie and Miss Angela. The teachers keep me up to date with how she is doing developmentally all the time. I introduced the sippy cup recently, and the teachers were very happy to continue to help her practice using it while at school. They figured out a nap and feeding schedule that I can adhere to on the weekends. Everyone has been very responsive to my questions, and get back to me in a timely manner. My daughter comes home clean every day. I am very impressed that everyone knows my husband and I by name. I see how everyone interacts with my daughter and it warms my heart. I feel comfortable leaving her here knowing she is going to be well cared for. Not to mention, they still do a lot of activities with families after school despite COVID. Right near Valentines's Day, they had a Sweetheart Dance that we attended on Zoom. It was so nice to see families dancing, singing, and listening to stories. I am so happy to have chosen this school for my little one. They have become my second family. If you are considering sending your little one to daycare, please consider this school. If you live in Pawtucket and have a child who would benefit from having a 504 plan or IEP in place, you should consider moving to a new city or town, if you have the ability to do so. Pawtucket Schools can not offer adequate resources or enough support to enable your child in to be successful in a special education setting.

It is large enough that each daughter is able to find her place academically, socially, spiritually, athletically and is able to develop a healthy sense of self. MB is unique in that the Quaker values provide a calming, quiet powerful start to their day and help to build a partnership with their teachers. Our world is changing fast and we feel that Moses Brown is focused on the world that our girls will thrive in bc of their experiences and problem solving skills. No school is perfect but from our experience we feel that MB partners with us as parents to help mentor our kids to be the best they can be, to help make the world around them a better place and to feel Confident in their abilities. It is a challenging school but large enough to accommodate different learning styles. When there are tough issues that arise the faculty addresses them immediately. Child's Play is such a special community because of the parental involvement. It's so comforting for me to know that my daughter has both incredible teachers and fellow parents in the classroom to support her when I am not there. I cannot stress enough how truly dedicated and experienced our teachers are at Child's Play. My child requires some additional support. Between offering additional resources for her in the classroom to attending IEP meetings on their own time, the teachers at Child's Play have played a vital role in our daughter's growth and development. A maximum of 5:1 child:adult ratio has allowed her teachers to take the extra time with her when she's needed it. We are very grateful for this very understanding, knowledgeable and autism-friendly community.
