Lots of TVs were on showing games, but the place was pretty empty for a weekend lunch. The beer was great of course and the flatbread had some great meats on it and not too greasy. My wife thought the pretzel was too greasy, but I thought it was fantastic. I was thinking they probably use cornmeal in it, since it had a different pretzel flavor than normal. Their beer singles cover a good range of Florida breweries, mainstream craft brewers, as well as lesser-known ones as well. I am just really impressed with their selection - they do an awesome job at stocking. With that said, some of these specialty beers they offer are not cheap - but, there are options in a wide range of prices. With their renovations a couple years ago, Beer Stop now houses 2 walk-in coolers and a much larger center area. We ordered drinks around 1:50 AM and were peacefully enjoying them when, at 2:00 AM, a security guard aggressively demanded that I leave--even though I clearly explained I was waiting for my wife. Despite my calm explanation, he became confrontational and even violent. I immediately brought this to the attention of Matt, the manager, but to my surprise, he said nothing to the security guard and took no action whatsoever. We were left feeling unsafe and disrespected in what should have been a simple and enjoyable night out. This situation was completely unacceptable and potentially dangerous. I would strongly advise others to steer clear of Township. There are far better places in town that prioritize the safety and dignity of their guests.

At first I thought it was a little hut for local home owners, but then realized it was open to the public. Plopped a seat and had the best time for a couple hours. The Tiki Hut is spacious and wide open with both views of the water. Had the local Oyster City Brew and talked to the bartender that I unfortunately forgot his name, yet have his business card where he started the Alligator Point Gift Shop.
