What an absolute gem of a place to find for a weary traveler. Decided to drive down to Alligator Point as I made my way down from Tallahassee and eventually over to Panama City. Wanted to see the beach here at Alligator Point and was ending my drive when I came this hidden oasis. At first I thought it was a little hut for local home owners, but then realized it was open to the public. Plopped a seat and had the best time for a couple hours. The Tiki Hut is spacious and wide open with both views of the water. Had the local Oyster City Brew and talked to the bartender that I unfortunately forgot his name, yet have his business card where he started the Alligator Point Gift Shop. Even if the food was bad, I would give this place 5 stars on great vibes alone. However, the food was not bad, it was extremely delicious! I got the grilled chicken sandwich, and it was one of the best that I've had in a very long time. This was one of the best cooked veggie burgers I've had in a while! However, It was a beyond burger but was on the menu as "black bean burger" so that definitely needs to be updated because I did not find out until my food was brought out to me, luckily I prefer the beyond. Came with so many fries and they were delicious! I also got a strawberry margarita and it was tasty. We did have to wait over 30 minutes for our food and the people who ordered after us ate and left before we got ours, but there was live music and a great view to keep us entertained while waiting. read more

For those that see the 1 star review. A place being closed is not a good reason for a bad review. Call ahead in these seasonal areas. We were the first people in...we had a drink in hand shortly. Great little outdoor tiki bar with quality drinks and very good bar food. While there last week they were serving oysters on the halfshell. The food is tasty, good portions and you will find a great beverage menu. Outside seating, live music on the weekend and dog friendly. read more

What a great little spot. I was enjoying a chilly day at nearby Bald Point beach when I wanted to grab lunch. Headed down alligator point to the Tiki Hut. It's an iconic looking building next to the Marina. The owner, Corinna, is delightful, friendly and welcoming. The menu is just what you'd expect: fried, grilled or blackened fish baskets, a bunch of apps, and burgers. I was feeling traditional so went for the fried shrimp basket. While the shrimp was frozen, it was really good fried shrimp. And the seasoned fries were delicious. Washed it down with a Proof 850. But I'm tell you: a couple was enjoying the conch fritters and I'm so sorry I didn't get some. They looked great and the couple was raving about it. This was the perfect spot for a beach day lunch. Not a typical "Tiki Hut" but a fun, casual atmosphere. Fun watching the boats come in on the marina. Food was simple and delicious. My family tried the crab crabs, burger, and mahi tacos...and my kids ate every bite! Also, the onion rings were delicious! Highly recommend if looking for a laid back bite to eat in the water. read more

Terrible attitude from the bartender, don't know her name but she informed us that she had no 'cinnamon liquor' when we asked about Rumchata. You could t sit at bar or stand, not their fault and that's OK. They didn't have or no longer serve conch fritters!! It's a very convenient place to grab a beer or cocktail and some bar food at Alligator Point. The food is decent bar food, not the best but decent enough. It's the ONLY place on the island to get a drink and food so it's nice to have when your feeling too lazy to cross over the bridge. I give it 5 stars simply because I appreciate that it's there and when I go it's a good time. read more

Food was eatable what little choices they had. They were unable to cook almost half of the menu due to supply. The bartenders were fun but the sprite was out so our drink had only carbon no syrup and the bartender would not replace the drinks.. he only offered to "doctor" them. We were down to Alligator Point last week and had the opportunity to visit Carina, the new owner of the Tiki Hut at Alligator Point Marina. We had lunch there a couple of times and were very pleased with the food and service. The Tiki as the locals call it offers a surprising menu that includes shrimp baskets, burgers, chicken sandwiches, clams, and even fried pickles. Each order is accompanied by Cole slaw and French fries, which are very tasty. Of course there is a full selection of beers, wine, and cocktails, including some specialty drinks that will "knock your socks off" Highly recommend the Tiki anytime you are in the Alligator Point read more
