Hummus

Wow. The veggies on this hummus plate were rotten and disgusting. The texture of touching the carrots was like silly putty. The fact that they aren't violating health codes or standards serving spoiled produce is beyond me. Yuck. This picture is actually generous for how gross the carrots / cucumber and peppers looked

I stopped by for a quick bite and ordered the Thai chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. The chicken was good especially the flavor but the bread wasn't the best and the slaw was good but the sauce however made the bread soggy which wasn't great. The sweet potato fries were a miss, they were salty and didn't seem fresh. My server was great and that's the reason why I gave a 3 start versus less. The ambiance was that if a sports bar.

We stopped here for lunch while visiting our son. We were seated very quickly and the restaurant was a bit busy. We enjoyed the food and our server was great! The food came out fast and hot which is always a win.

Good spot. 3.7 so rounded up. Service very slow but good was pretty good food ( even though they ran out of a bunch of menu items), ambiance what you'd expect from a nicer college bar/restaurant.

Yummmm!!!

We went to Madison Social for breakfast after dropping off our son for summer B. Was there for lunch, which was great, and was extremely impressed with their breakfast!! As always service did not disappoint! And the look and feel of this place is on point!

You absolutely have to try their BLT dip! Even though this is in college town, I've never had a bad experience or food or drink from here.

Township's flip my ship is the perfect happy hour spot in Tally for upper undergraduate students looking to have a good time. The ambience is great, because if you want to dance then you can go to the beer garden but if you want to sit down and enjoy your drink then there are tables inside. Simply the best of both worlds. The bartenders are experienced, their signature cocktails are well balanced and well known all around Tally. The service for the most part is friendly as long as you're not causing a disturbance. To be honest I don't think I ever ordered food at Township, so I can't really say much about it's dishes but what I can say is that the bartenders make pretty good drinks.

Disappointed and Concerned - Avoid Township…read more I visited Township near closing time with my wife, daughter, and her boyfriend. We ordered drinks around 1:50 AM and were peacefully enjoying them when, at 2:00 AM, a security guard aggressively demanded that I leave--even though I clearly explained I was waiting for my wife. Despite my calm explanation, he became confrontational and even violent. I immediately brought this to the attention of Matt, the manager, but to my surprise, he said nothing to the security guard and took no action whatsoever. We were left feeling unsafe and disrespected in what should have been a simple and enjoyable night out. This situation was completely unacceptable and potentially dangerous. I would strongly advise others to steer clear of Township. There are far better places in town that prioritize the safety and dignity of their guests.

R&R at Hotel Indigo in Tallahassee, FL…read more Stayed a couple nights at Hotel Indigo on a work trip and naturally ended up at R&R more than once because: location, location, location. Easy access plus a bar meant repeat visits. Let's start with the GOODS the drinks! I stopped in to the bar multiple times and the cocktails are where they shined for me. Ryan the bartender - WOW next level. Superb! Knows his stuff, and made every drink a hit for me. My top pick? The Juju, hands down my favorite. But I also got a sneak peek of a new drink coming to their seasonal menu called the Lily Pad, and OMG mmmmmm. So good. Bright, refreshing, well-balanced. Totally check out my photos for that one. Now... about breakfast. It's a No for me. Enough. I had the Nashville Honey Chicken Biscuits and they are a FAIL, a No. Dry, sad, biscuits with fried frozen chicken nugget in it and not worth $16. It's an embarrassment to the establishment. The Cortado, also a miss!... but it was coffee and I needed to get going to work. R&R, please rethink breakfast: 100% did not meet the price point. Skip breakfast or walk across the street, there's a bagel shop. The hotel indigo is really cute and I'll probably write a review about that on a separate, the place is overall cute, but there's very limited food places around the hotel. So in conclusion, I will give you an extra star for the convenience and the bar. After my experience for breakfast, I did not care to come here for food at all anymore. Expensive cheap food. Just because they're helped by a great bar and a beautiful hotel and a great location..

I had recently heard that this place is a Michelin notable and now I know why. Don't be fooled by the nondescript, gray exterior, the inside is adorable and cozy. Valet is complementary which is a nice touch. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Service is incredibly quick from the time you order to when you receive your meal. Food was absolutely delicious. Hubby and I ordered a few appetizers as well as the chefs tasting menu and it did not disappoint. The appetizers we chose were the charred octopus and the fire roasted oysters. Both were wonderful but the octopus was a standout. For the tasting menu, it changes daily and is 4 courses with a dessert course to round out the meal. Ours happened to include: Sausage w olive tapenade, Filet w tomato and veggie chow chow (so tasty), Duck tostada w avocado crema, Elk filet w hasselback potatoes and asparagus (show stopper), and Orange rice pudding w pistachio cookie crumble which was such a nice, light way to end the meal. One thing to note: they automatically add 18% gratuity to your bill which is split between all front of house and back of house staff. Anything you leave above this will go directly to your waiter. There is a card they leave when they drop off the bill that explains this more eloquently than I am but I found it to be unique that they openly discuss it instead of adding it to the bill with no notice or explanation.

There was no distinct flavor profile... it literally just tasted like sour mix. Wouldn't get that again; however, this is going into one of my favorite restaurants on the east coast !

My two food items were the Thai Peanut Cauliflower and the Mafaldine Limone Pasta. Devoured separately, of course. Both were high acid and beautiful. My favorite dish was the pasta which was crisply bright, creamy, and nostalgic of a cozy home cooked meal with a crisp bread crumb that was to die for. Would come here weekly if I could.

Otherwise have at the several choices that may appeal to your taste. I doubt that you won't like it. The location is a converted mini market. I am remembering that the first restaurant conversion was a classic diner that was good for breakfast but Kool Beanz has been here for a long time and thriving. Some of the best seats in the house can actually be on a stool at the counter watching the chefs ply their trade. There's an additional large dining room at the end of the building and they have created a nice outdoor space as well. What may be hard to come by when they are busy is a parking space. Service has always been friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable considering the creativity that is involved. You will pay more at dinner which is why we love to catch them at lunch.
