My family and I spent over $200 on a late lunch here. I ate their food once a few years ago and it was delicious. So I ordered here with confidence, also it's rare that anywhere REALLY messes up Chinese food too much. But oh my goodness, every single thing we ordered was not good. The pork fried rice and ribs are everything they should be: the rice is flavorful and meaty, with the perfect amount of soy sauce and a soft bite. They used day old food and just ran it thru the fryolator again. A trick they used to do in military to us, so I know what it tastes like. My best friend came from Orlando so we decided to order something around the area and I found this I thought maybe it would've been good. I ordered it by Uber Eats. It took like an hour and a half to get there and the rice was the worst for I ever eaten. It was the chicken fried rice. It felt like it was burntand she had a wonton soup which everything was just splattered in the soup. on 4/24/25 at around 3:00 pm I ordered to go honey chicken and vegetable fried rice. The restaurant was pretty empty. The honey chicken was extremely dried, hard and no flavor whatsoever, every single piece went in to the garbage. Couldn't even eat one piece. The veggie rice had a terrible burnt smell and also no flavor. Smell was so bad I could not eat it. I have eaten their food before many times and was good. This time both items went to the garbage in the entirely. Had to order pizza! I also called the restaurant and the lady that answered the phone all she said was that she will tell the boss. Two years ago, I reported that I found a dead fly in my sweet n' sour sauce. Today, I discovered a piece of fingernail in my fried rice. Restaurant eventually compensated me for the meal after first trying to convince me it was part of a shrimp shell. I've seen this Chinese restaurant every time I drive by the area. Today we decided to give it a shot. We opted for take out and ordered beef fried rice, honey shrimp, lemon chicken, beef Mongolian and beef chow mein. The total bill was $50. After 20-30 minutes, our order was Freddy for pick up. Overall it all smelled good! My favorite and would order again is the beef fried rice and honey shrimp. My husband said it was the freshest beef fried rice he has ever had. I agree. The only reason I am rating 4 stars is because I wasn't a fan of the lemon chicken. Not only was it covered in sauce for my taste, the chicken was a bit rubbery and hard to chew. My kids didn't like it either. I had to throw the entire container out. The beef chow mein was not my favorite. I prefer Lo mein, but my husband preferred chow mein. I placed an order through Uber eats and it didn't took long for delivering. I ordered three orders of the Crab Rangoon for a friends come over .i was so disappointed when we started eating them , they where very dry inside and the corners where extremely hard to chew, looks like they were done days before, not fresh . Also i never saw the crab meat , it was just cream cheese . Or not sure it was a white paste . Not sure I will order from here again . This is how my kids who like chinese food left their plates. Ordered before getting there and was told 40 mins. Ended up being close to 50 mins. Don't get me wrong they seemed to be pretty busy, people walking in and out, but their quality is not good at all. Normally we dine-in. There's always a table available and the server is friendly, but she can be busy and in a hurry sometimes...but she's always friendly. She knows what we like to order (because we go there at least once a month). Typical Chinese decor. Huge seating area. They have a big tv to watch while eating dinner...but it's usually on a channel most people don't understand. haha. The best item on the menu is the Honey Garlic fried wonton appetizer. We order it every time. DELICIOUS! They have the best Honey Garlic Chicken in Kendall. Huge portions. Other items worth mentioning are the Spare Ribs, Schezwan chicken or beef....all delicious! NOTE: If you ever order the MuShu...they don't have the pancakes for it and I guess they never will. Good for cutting calories, I guess?!?! hah! Also, another thing to check for...if you order take out/delivery....make sure you get your appetizers (rib/egg roll) that comes with the combo meals. They tend to forget to put that in. Do not order from them on uber eats. One day, I order and no issue asking for extra shrimp. When I called, the young girl was able to figure it out and added the charge. I called the other day, this girl didnt even want to attend me. Too concerned with notifying the kitchen of the orders. My latest order was on Thursday & I meant to take some pics to share, but the food was so good it was gone as soon as I served it. My favorite thing about this spot is how fresh the food is. We added Beijing beef to this order which was delicious too, but was more veggies than actual beef. With that said.. the reason I give them a 4 instead of 5 was the customer service. Now this time was the first time I had an issue with my order. We wanted noodles ( Usually we get lo mein, but my husband wanted the other type. We looked it up & it's called chow mein ) now apparently in this restaurant the only noodles are lo mein & chow mein is just veggies or chicken / beef with veggies. I wasn't aware until after the fact. Now, I asked for chow mein noodles & was asked if with chicken or beef I said chicken with noodles & vegtables is fine. They didn't correct me that this would not come with noodles. It was a misunderstanding & no biggie. I picked up my order & saw the mistake. I called back & the Hispanic girl up front she is awesome she immediately tried to clarify, but it was evident the management had push back. They didn't seem to want to rectify the issue. I had just spent $45. They wanted me to pay $7 to get plain lo mein & I said "no. I am a frequent customer, & I just spent $45 it was a misunderstanding. I'm not driving back to spend another $7 on top." After about 3x of going back to the owners they finally said they would offer me plain lo mein which was fine with me. I went back to get the noodles & while I did have to wait sometime for them to be made, they were fresh & the rest of the meal was excellent. This is still my go to Chinese spot even though I think management needs to work on tact when handling situations with customers. I am very understanding to language barriers, but if your customer has an issue & is being respectful & truthful about the situation after spending a good amount on their restaurant regardless of the years in business customer care should still be important. read more

I have been living in the vicinity of the crossings shopping center for many years and many times have ordered to go from the Chinese place. The food is good and tasty but unfortunately because the inside of the place looks so rundown and dirty, I can't really enjoy my food. Think about it, if they restaurant is dirty and it's what their patrons are able to see imagine what the kitchen looks like as this is the area that customers are not able to see. I just wish that the owner would take care of his restaurant by updating, fixing or showing some TLC. While Waiting yesterday for our to go, I looked up and saw cracks in the ceiling, homemade patches on the wall. The same old couches that have been there ever since I started coming there and I just couldn't help thinking what's lurking underneath the seats. Again the food is good and customer service is ok, So this is my personal review and not meant to deter anyone who hasn't been there to try it out. I go here mostly for takeout as it is convenient.
