Updating my negative review from 7 years ago and changing it back to the original positive review. After reading the newer reviews on here (within 8 months....2026 just started)...I have read that the original owners are back and that they brought back all of the old amazing recipes. I have always gone out of my way to buy their eggrolls. Their eggrolls are like no other Chinese Restaurant. They are full of pork and have a super crispy crunch. Fast forward to today I ordered two egg rolls...lo and behold those fantastic eggrolls are back. Please don't ever take these away. They are the best in Miami! read more

Chinese food is and has been a staple take out food in American households. It's always a matter of preference of your neighborhood restaurant. For us , Lee's was that restaurant for many years , until our world stopped during Covid and for some reason nothing was the same. Fortunately, for us and many Lee's patrons the delicious magic is back. The food is fresh, prices are still affordable, and delivery is still courteous and friendly. You can tell they are under new, better management, because they had really gone downhill for some time. But no longer! Got my Father's Day feast there, the fastest delivery I've ever seen. Our large order was accurate, portions were generous, and everything was delicious. Their prices are better than most too. I highly recommend Lee's! read more

This has been my family go to Chinese Takeout restaurant my entire life. I would look forward to having the delicious wings, honey chicken and fried rice and it never disappointed. I was so excited today when I learned that Lee's is back under its original management. The food, which had declined, is back to its original quality. The husband, who cooked, and the wife, who worked the front counter, got bored with retirement and returned. AMEN! My Chinese food prayers have finally been answered! This is the best option available on Postmates to the FIU area. I placed my usual order just to see if they can handle the basics so I can decide if I want to order again. This order consisted of the dinner special that included: -wonton soup: pretty standard, strips of pork and fresh greens in the broth -egg roll: yassssssssssss this is the best one I've had in south Florida most resembling Chinese food from up north -fried rice: tasted great with lots of meat and no peas or carrots (I always pick those out) -sweet and sour chicken: large chunks perfectly battered and fried with the sauce on the side I also placed an order for krab rangoons which tasted mostly like cream cheese and not at all like krab and I prefer the kind that is pinched into a little purse but these were ok. The order came to about $17 and I have a TON of leftovers. This is my new go-to for delivery, for sure. read more

This used to be the best Chinese spot in town!! I mean you could ask neighbors all around the area where they get their Chinese food and it was always LEES. The thing that kept most people coming back is the amazing egg rolls, however, they have been getting some other brand lately and it's been terrible. They are now using store bought frozen egg rolls.. what a disappointment. The only reason I order from here is because of their hand made egg rolls.. I guess is time to find a different restaurant... For these just go to BJs and get the same ones... read more

It's been a while since I've had Lee's but I have nothing but fond memories. Up until tonight, they held the top spot in my Chinese food list and were strongly recommended to any who asked. I talked a big game tonight and was left hungry and embarrassed. Lee's - what is you doin' baby? I should've known something was up when the Singapore noodles were no longer on the menu. Where do I start? The egg rolls were tiny and stingy in their filling; special fried rice... nothing special about it, dry and lacking in flavor. There was 1 shrimp. ONE; sad honey chicken with no honey; general tso's was a bizarre shade of orange one can only expect in a food court; and the wonton soup... inedible, wontons tasted unsanitary. I can only assume they are under new ownership or highly affected by shrinkflation. Unfortunately will never order or recommend again. read more

This place WAS GREAT once upon a time but it has turned into a dump. The owner is rude as all hell and the quality of the food served has take a plunge for the worse. Not to mention that they used to serve a pretty big amount and the last few times I've ordered they barely serve half of what they used too. Unfortunately this take out place has gone really downhill. The spare ribs were tough and hardly any meat on them. The honey chicken was tough, the wanton soup was awful, the egg roll was chewy so basically nothing was good! Won't be going there again!! read more

I was yelled at, AGAIN. The older lady taking orders over the phone messed up the order, AGAIN. She took back the food that I had opened in front of her. Got home and opened another little box to find out it was wrong too. Called and went back. Got yelled at, AGAIN, and they demanded the wrong order back. I told them if I gave it back the health department would receive a call. I believe new people run this now because some of the items taste different. And the portions have gotten smaller. Bad customer service and rude ladies dealing with customers. I normally tip, but didn't this time. They have lost me and my family as customers. AND whenever someone mentions them I will speak on my last few experiences. There are plenty of other places to get fake Chinese food at! Stay safe and alert everybody! read more

Was about to place an order for several things... decided to call the restaurant to find out if the original egg rolls were grub made, if not, I just wouldn't include it in my order. What I got was a screaming woman on the other end telling me they are "no more" making them. I totally understand the language barrier, but no need to get screamed at, as love their food, regardless. They just lost myself, my my parents, my brothers, and neighbor's business. Extremely rude, inconsiderate, to a loyal customer. Recently moved down south and was looking for a good Chinese place. Lee's was recommended to my wife by co workers. We checked out the yelp reviews and thought man this place cant be THAT good....oh yes...it is. And yes...the EGG ROLLS...ARE THAT GOOD. Wow, best egg rolls I have ever had. They are huge and stuffed with pork. With a little spicy mustard...perfect. We ordered the honey chicken, it was....alright. Just chicken with honey really lol. Another day we orders the orange chicken and it was great!! Pork fried rice is a MUST. some of the best Chinese rice I have ever had. Recommended this to some friends and family and they loved it when they went. The place is tiny, but its your everyday Chinese take out, with exceptional food. MUST TRY! read more

For years this has been my go-to Chinese takeout place. The two people who ran it for years have retired and, sadly, the quality has left with them. They used to have the best egg rolls in town. Now they are no better than you get at a Chinese food court chain. The fried chicken wings are still good, but smaller. I ordered one of my favorites, garllc eggplant with pork, and the lady taking orders never heard of the dish even though it is on their menu. When I went to pick up my order, the lady in the front had a mask on but the two men in the kitchen did not. I will probably try them again, but not until the pandemic is over. read more

So this is hard to write because I have been a customer of Lee's for over 20 years. In that time I've seen it change hands, unfortunately not for the better. While the food has always been good, as well as the prices, I cannot say the same for the service. I stood at their window during the pandemic when you couldn't go inside and saw a woman be so rude to an older couple who were evidently ordering too slowly for her, and god forbid asking too many questions that they eventually walked away. I let it go. Maybe I should have said something...but last night we placed an order that never showed up. There must have been some confusion somewhere idk but this morning I called to find out what happened. I'm 62. And I've never been screamed at like that before. This woman went nuts! Then she hung up on me. So I called back. A man answered. I explained that I have been a loyal customer for many years and that I'm sorry if there was a misunderstanding but that the woman's rudeness was unacceptable. I apologized for any confusion on my part but said that I believed I was owed an apology for the way I was spoken to. Crickets. Nothing. I said hello? He said yes. I said that's it? He finally begrudgingly said he was sorry. I said thank you and hung up. For what it's worth I will never go back. read more

There are certain Christmas traditions that you look forward to each year... baking cookies for Santa, waking up to presents under the tree, catching an afternoon movie, Diehard and an order of Chinese food for dinner. If you wanna keep the last one a favorite, I would reconsider ordering from Lee's. Things got off to a bad start when my order of crab rangoon was missing. It didn't get much better when I was completely underwhelmed by the watered down wonton soup with minimal flavor which after 2 spoonfuls I realized the only extra seasoning in there was a small gnat. Honey chicken was your basic overbreaded chicken lumps, nothing crispy or special about it. The only reason there are two stars is because the egg roll was decent. Old frail lady is rude. I had an Uber eats order , I picked up the food and the old frail lady didn't properly close the lid on the soup . Some of the soup spilled on the package and on my car . I came back to tell the old frail lady what happened. She gave me a rude attitude, she was blaming me . But it was her fault , she didn't close the lid on the soup . read more

I have been buying Chinese food from the place at 107 & Sunset for 20 years, someone told us about Lee's and WE fell in love! The food taste better 100 percent, in the special fried rice there is shrimp all over the quart not just on the top to fool you. Szechuan Chicken is Fantastic, Chicken Chow mien really good. Great Chinese food but the owners are Rude and not unfriendly! They make you feel like they're doing you a favor and unlike other Chinese Restaurants like Canton for example, Lee's (which is a very small take out counter) charges extra for the chili hot oil.... And don't even think of asking for extra soy sauce packets, they look at you like you've just insulted their mother. Are you serious?! No extra Soy Sauce?!! It's too bad, because their food is not bad, but who needs to pay for attitude with as many Chinese restaurants as there are in town? read more

I give this a 5 star "for a Chinese delivery" understand??? Ok, let's go. Great pork fried rice. The beef in the beef dishes is tender and not chewy and gross. The grills are super crispy and fresh in the middle. Solid won ton as well. Haven't had chicken but I would bet it's solid. read more
