Excellent stop if you are on your way to or from a show or if you happen to be near Mandalay. It's worth it as a snack when most of the year is pretty hot in Las Vegas.

Since I didn't get a chance to try the gelato @ Il Gelato at Eataly Las Vegas earlier in the evening, I said this was my chance to get my gelato LOL. And so I did and so glad I did. They offer gelato, sundaes, and milkshakes. You may build your own (BYO) milkshake creation. Don't forget to add your toppings for an extra charge. There weren't too many gelato flavors to choose from, but it was good enough. They had two of my favorite bright colored flavors, orange cream and mango. I've never seen orange cream in gelato form so this was a nice sweet treat for me. I got a small cup that comes with two small scoops. Wished the scoops were bigger and more rounded though especially when it costs $8.95 plus tax... almost $10. Knocking off 1 star for it. But then again it's gelato not ice cream. Cost justified? You be the judge of that. Wow, both flavors were amazingly good! Sweetness was not overly sweet and not underly sweet... just perfect! Texture of the orange cream was a lot smoother than the mango IMHO. You can tell just by looking at it. Nevertheless, both flavors were gelato-ly on point! The lady staff was friendly and nice. She was by herself. It was at a very late hour so no lines at the time. It was a quick visit for me. There aren't any seating at this gelato stand. However, you may sit at the New York New York food hall dining area (if seats are available) to enjoy your gelato. I will definitely return here for more OC and M the next time I'm at NY NY. My friend got their medium frappe which was coffee with a bunch of whipped cream on top. Essentially tasted like a mocha but nonetheless was as advertised. Friends and I were hesitant for donuts since we already had something heavy prior. On a second visit here I got their raspberry dragonfruit refresher which was exactly what I needed after a long day out. Maybe on a return trip I'll try one of their donuts before leaving Vegas!

Maybe the nicest human I've ever met? He gave us some samples and recommendations/insight that seriously felt more like a wine tasting then it did an ice cream sampling. For example, I did not know the vegan flavors were hitting that hard. If anyone from Ben and Jerry's corporate is reading this, just know that the gentlemen managing this establishment (wish I caught his name) took what is normally a very ordinary experience (buying some ice cream) and turned it into a fun, informative, interactive journey as if I was at a Ben and Jerry's factory enjoying a tour of the premises. After so many customer service interactions at other establishments in Vegas that were a mix of snooty or disengaged this manager was an unexpected breath of fresh air.
