A cozy small candy/ice cream shop, with rare candy, is how I describe this place. I do enjoy when places branch out to have rare candy not found anywhere but the internet, plus have their own brand of sweet delights. Got a few treats here, to go since it was not crowded when I was here. Honestly the stuff I got was incredible and I will definitely have try here again to try the ice cream and more of chocolate selection. read more

This place is a true gem! Every treat I have tried is amazing, and you can't tell what is vegan or gluten free! Absolutely love the selection available, and appreciate the delivery during this trying time. My absolute favorite is a tie between the strawberry thumb print cookies and the mini chocolate donuts (so hard to choose between sprinkles or orange peel on top). The thumbrprint cookie is a generous size (I split it with someone) and so delicious. The cookie itself isn't dry at all, and has little bits of almond in it. It is full of flavor while still having the perfect texture. I appreciate that while I purchased a few of these cookies they do come individually wrapped so perfect for sharing (if you aren't keeping them to yourself - I'm not here to judge at all!) read more

What a cute little ice cream shop located in Beacon! The store was pretty busy for a random afternoon on a weekday. I ordered the Coffee Choco-Donut and it was oh so delicious! The employees did offer to give samples since we were rightfully indecisive given so many choices! In addition, they have a variety of gluten free and vegan options. If you start your walk at the bottom of Main Street, this is a great way to end it right at the top. The ice cream was perfection and the girls behind the counter were so nice and helpful. Stumbled upon this shop after having a late lunch in the area. No one inside so plenty of seating to go around and one lady working behind the counter (making some chocolates as we were debating what to order). Lots of enticing options behind the glass case, but settled on the classic brownie ($2.50). She asked if we wanted it warmed up (wasn't going to turn that down); so a nice hot chocolatey treat. Rich and packed with a lot of sweetness. Probably should have gotten a glass of milk to counteract it. Quaint decor and artwork for sale on the walls. Definitely would like to try some of their other items next time. read more

The Chocolate Studio is one of my favorite places to go in Beacon. Of course I love ALL THE CHOCOLATE THINGS, but especially the Moo Moo Ice Cream - so creamy and yummy! I've been to The Chocolate Studio many times. Recently I asked Ann to make small individual gift bags for my colleagues. I provided a budget, as modest as my budget was, Ann created the most incredible chocolate, Carmel and marshmallow treats and packages them beautifully and personally tied a ribbon to each one. Everyone raved about it and were so impressed that they were individually made just for them. They can't wait to go there themselves. From the second you walk in, you know it's going to be memorable. Love this place! Delicious gourmet Belgian chocolate, great pastries and nice people! I had my daughter's birthday and it was the nicest birthday she has ever had outside our home. The kids were engaged and interested throughout and made several chocolate treats to take home. Price was every reasonable and they provide everything. I had heard that other parties did not go as well but it honestly depends on how well Your kids can behave - there's a lot of candy around and the nature of dipping chocolate means they have to be capable of following the rules! Got a brownie with maple ice cream and - after real, thorough deliberation - decided that it was the best brownie and ice cream I've ever had. I'm not messing around. They were that good. The brownie melted in my mouth and had the absolute perfect amount of salty sweet. The ice cream was from Moo Moo's and good god I had never had their ice cream before but I will go out of my way for it from here on out. The woman working the counter this afternoon was also very sweet and patient with us trying different flavors. This will be my first stop next time I'm in Beacon. read more

They have the chocolate covered popcorn....a delicacy I haven't experienced since the buxom and beautiful Anna Shea closed up her chocolate shop in Tarrytown several years ago. Regina and her lovely staff created mouth-watering party favors for our October wedding--little squares of their signature toffee, individually bagged and labeled, ready to pop into the wooden boxes we had purchased. Horrible people. I went in today around 3:45 to buy some desserts. The hours posted said that they are open until 6:00 PM. A middle-aged woman attempted to slam the door in my face claiming that they were closed and that I should read the sign. First of all, the door was wide open before I even entered the store, secondly, the sign wouldn't be visible unless the door was completely closed--which it wasn't. She then proceeded to tell me that someone down the street tested positive for COVID-19, and then closed the door in my face and said they would be closed until December 1st. If they want to close early or close temporarily for whatever reason that is fine. However, you don't close the door in a potential customers' face and then condescendingly tell them to "read the sign" when you have the front door wide open, and your hours online state that you're open until 6. I will never buy anything from here again. Rude, nasty, and mean people. read more

I don't usually eat chocolate but I made an exception today when my friend and I found ourselves in downtown Beacon. The candy at the Chocolate Studio is mind-blowing delicious! I loved the dark chocolate with chili-mangos and the "More than S'mores". The "Almond Avalanche" was terrific, too, with white chocolate, almonds and toffee. My absolute favorite, though, was a chocolate toffee with walnuts (I don't remember what it was called). Anne, the owner, told us that she and her sister were taught many of these recipes by their Italian grandmother when they were young. I swear, I could taste the love that went into the old family recipes. (Did Grandma really make chili-mango chocolate or is that a new world recipe?) In any case, if you are in Beacon for a day or for a decade, you gotta check out this place. Especially if, like me, you don't usually eat chocolate. If I lived nearby, I probably would have to stop saying "I don't usually eat chocolate" because I would be eating it a whole lot more often. I am from out of town and am already planning my next trip around a visit to the Chocolate Studio. read more

Think Twice before having a birthday/kids party here. The staff are EXTREMELY impatient with the kids. Constantly snapping at them. Def not a fun carefree kids party environment. I have been to several birthday parties there, and it's always the same. Not sure why they host, when it seems they really can't tolerate the kids, or the energy that comes with kids! read more

Just had a birthday party there today. Would highly recommend it! It was two hours of fun, from start to finish. Brought 10 kids, ages 8-10, many of whom were boys. They loved painting lollipop molds, decorating cupcakes, dipping fruit in chocolate, and decorating dipped marshmallows, oreos, and pretzels. In between the chocolate-making activities the kids played candy bingo and trivia. When the party was over, the kids had beautiful--and yummy-looking--goody boxes to keep, filled with their treats. My birthday boys came home with two awesome aprons, which were signed by all their friends. Regina and her sister were knowledgeable, patient, and fun. The kids had a blast! read more

Just had my daughter's Sweet Sixteen party at The Chocolate Studio, and it was a great time for my daughter and her 8 girlfriends, plus her three much younger boy cousins. Think "craft party," but with chocolate, sweets, cake frosting, etc. The kids all got to create their own dipped chocolate goodies and decorate their own cake in the store's special party room, and then everything was wrapped, boxed, bagged and name-tagged--party favor style--by the staff of young aspiring chefs. A lot can go wrong at a party like this, but nothing did. I give my daughter and her friends a lot of the credit for that for being so well-behaved and respectful, but I have to commend The Chocolate Studio for their ability to keep things interesting and moving along at just the right pace, and for their bravery in hosting kids parties involving lots and LOTS of sugar!
