Had heard a lot of good things about this place so after a day at a nearby pumpkin farm we stopped by. There was a 15 minute wait and quite a few people waiting. We got seated, and the servers and hostess were very friendly and helpful. The food came out very quick and this place is the definition of "bang for your buck". Great prices and the food is exactly what you would expect. I had the Surf N Turf special and it was pretty good. Would definitely return!

    Pork BBQ with Onion Rings

Stopped here today due to poor service at The Inwood Diner. Was immediately greeted when I entered and sat down. Waitress was right there to take my drink order. It was lunch time so I order the bbq pork and onion rings. Food came quickly and was delicious. Michelle checked my table regularly. Very good iced tea by the way. Great food. Great service.

The meal was amazing. We got the Taylor Farms Apples to start- 11/10 stars. I got the chicken cheesesteak sub, and my husband got the Mac wrap (I forgot the actual name) but we both loved our items. The real slam dunk was the sweet potato fries we substituted for our sides- they had an apple butter dip *drool* We're going back in a week.

Loaded Sidewinder fries with pulled Pork BBQ
    Scott A.

We were shown our table immediately upon entering the establishment. It was nice to be able to walk through the market on your way to the hostess station too. The place was clean and well lite and the booth was comfortable. The menu looked great so we chose the loaded sidewinder fries and two sandwiches. Had we know the fries were going to be served up on a large platter we would have ordered a sandwich to split. The fries were cooked to a nice crispness and flavorful and loaded with deliciously prepared pork bbq, seasoned just right. HUGE APPETIZER PORTION! The BLT came with the usual and the bacon was quite flavorful and the bread was perfectly toasted. The Club was a mile high sandwich loaded with ham, turkey and fresh lettuce and tomato along with pepper Jack cheese - my choice. The fresh prepared potato chips were served up really nice in their own fryer basket with paper, adding to a really nice touch rounding out the meal with a pickle of course. Will definitely have a return trip here!

    Lunch with the kiddo
    Andrew H.

Came here for lunch with my wife and kiddo today. The service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the Gold Rush Burger with onion rings and my wife got the Smoker Burger with fries. Unfortunately my burger came out with fries and I had to wait for onion rings. When we were trying to decide on what to get my one year old we noticed even Mac and Cheese would be close to 6.00 and that is a little much for a 1 year old. The burgers had a cold bun which I thought was odd but the burger itself was hot and very good. I got my burger medium rare while she got hers medium, they both came out medium rare. All in all it was a good visit with friendly service, the prices are quite high 32.00 for 2 burgers, if the cost doesn't bother you and getting the wrong side is fine I'd recommend you try it and see for yourself.

My cold salad; fresh and delicious with Caesar salad dressing.

First of all I love that it is in a up and coming neighborhood of Winchester in a historic building that has been turned into something useful and not just torn down. The service was excellent! No issues there. Attentive and accommodating. The food was mostly good with a few issues. The homemade French fries with sea salt would have been so much better if they had been hot. I had the half chicken sandwich and cup of kale and white bean soup. It came with fries also. The half chicken sandwich turned out to be a chicken tender on a brioche slider bun. Good but a small serving. Fortunately I am a small eater. The soup was full of veggies but the broth was bland and flavorless. Not at all what I was expecting. I think there was supposed to be sausage but not one piece made it into my cup. But I could be wrong. Maybe I wanted there to be sausage in it! My husband ordered the fried chicken sandwich. It was a very generous serving of delicious fried chicken. It also came with the cold fries. I will definitely go again because I think this place could be great and I'm going to try it again and find out. The menu has lots of wonderful choices. They are only open Monday thru Friday for breakfast and lunch. There were lots of people having lunch there today on a rainy snowy day. Hopefully the management reads their reviews and will make improvements accordingly. I believe the restaurant is run by a nonprofit and I would love to see them thrive!

I ordered the Steam Engine Pot Pie. It was okay overall, but it had a noticeable lemony flavor, which is unusual for a pot pie and not a taste I personally enjoyed.
