I've had pedis at The Classic Nail Shop over the last few years and have never been disappointed. I had an appointment yesterday and they took me in as soon as I arrived. The other times I've been were walk ins but have never had a long wait. Prices are reasonable and they have a punch card. Staff is friendly and more importantly, does a great job. The polish lasts months after my toes are done! I no longer live in the area but I look forward to returning next time I'm in town. read more

Kind of lazy service. Barely scrubbed my heels prior to soaking my feet. When I asked if they could scrub after soaking before applying the polish they said they had already done it. My heels were still rough. When you get a pedicure it's done after your feet are soaked so the dead skin can be removed easily. I also asked for the nails to be even. They weren't. One nail had a "dip" and when I asked for the nail to be cut she said it would be shorter than the others. But i explicitly asked if they could be the same length at the beginning so why not file them that way instead of leaving the dip? And then act inconvenienced when I ask for it to be fix. Like...? Also, if you bring cash they give you a couple bucks off. I handed her cash and she said the credit card price. When I asked if they no longer a cash discount (it's on several signs) she said oh you want the cash price? Umm... I don't need a fancy shop or special services, but why is it so hard to get a basic pedicure right these days? read more

Classic Nail Shop still holds up. I recently went to get a pedicure. Times have changed. You have to call ahead for an appointment. I tried calling close to closing the day prior and they didn't pick up the phone, however the morning was no problem to make same day appointments with a bit of flexibility. I reserved pedicures and while there, I wanted to get a manicure which they told me no, they couldn't accommodate. So, I'd be mindful this is more of a plan ahead spot vs in the moment. They have a great color array. They do gel and regular only - no dip or acrylic. $30 for pedicure which came with a little scrub and a very brief hot stone massage. Overall, they are still doing a great job - just need to think ahead on this one! read more

I came in for a pedicure. I brought along my 3.5 year old daughter with me. I made an appointment and was seen right away. I give this place three stars because the lady giving me the pedicure did not massage my legs or feet and barely passed the pumice stone over my heels! $35! My daughter wanted her nails painted so we did that and it was $8. I left a $7 tip and once I left they scoffed and starting talking f loudly as I left. So apparently you're supposed to tip for crappy service. I'm never going back. read more

Perfect manicure and I got exactly what I wanted. They used a machine to shake up each color which was pretty cool and I had never seen before. Your hands had their own UV machine to quicken the process and my nail tech was very meticulous with cuticle cutting which as a nail biter I truly appreciated. I will be going back again! I don't like giving negative review unless I've first given the business a few chances and direct feedback. I've done both with Classic Nail Salon and unfortunately have had a negative experience each time. Service: While they say they take appointments, each time I've come here, I have had to wait at least 20 minutes to be seen, while being told every 5 mins "we will see you soon." If you expect customers to be late, if you're running 20-30 minutes behind, please consider the same courtesy, especially because you collect our contact information when booking an appointment. I have gotten a gel mani and regular pedi here, which were fine, but nothing out of the ordinary. Prices are high compared to other salons in the area and I don't know why. Next, the salon is messy. The times I've gotten nails done, the nail tech next to me had no issue pointing the fan in my direction while removing someone's paint with a nail drill. Got all over my lap and hair. It was gross. I had asked them to move the fan, they moved it so it faced the other side of her nails, still blowing all over me. The ambiance doesn't feel calm. There are pricing signs everywhere, different signs and fonts, not sure why. It feels cramped inside. The last appointment I had with them, I waited for 30 minutes to be seen after my appointment was supposed to start. After virtually no update, I asked them to cancel, and left. As I was leaving they said "but we were right about to help you," I had mentioned my appointment was 30 minutes ago. I went down the street to a new salon that I had a much better experience with, and that I paid less for. read more

Had a great experience at The Classic Nail Shop! Came in for mid-day pedicures with an appointment ahead of time so we were able to be seated immediately. The shop is small, not many chairs or stations so definitely seems like a place where an appointment would be needed. Be sure to call ahead if you plan to stop by. They've got lots of colors to choose from - including the new Wicked OPI colors. So perfect for this timing! I went with a gold nail polish and loved it! The pedicure was solid, had a nice massage, painted nails quickly and it dried pretty fast too so we were on our way in record time. The staff were so lovely and attentive! I apologize for not asking for names, but it doesn't matter because all staff treats their clients with gentleness and attentiveness. My technician was meticulous about the cuticles, and made my nails to the length I wanted. My kiddo's was painted on beautifully. This is my go-to nail salon! They don't need the love but here I am giving it lol. They always busy and you have to call in advance for an appointment. If you try to walk in or get something last minute, you may get rejected like I have been lol! They don't got time for your lack of planning - You know they must be doing something right! I love getting the spa pedicure - you get a quick hot stone and foot massage with like oil and lotion. Definitely not long enough lol you gotta pay extra for that though. I usually get the gel pedicure and it lasts forever lol. They have so many color options - they will even help you pick lol. I can tell they keep things clean between clients. They also have a water machine. I love the massage chairs and the big windows, I like looking out and people/car watching. I love it when the techs value the quality of their work and have higher expectations than you: shape, purpose and longevity were all top of mind for them! As I mentioned, I totally get that this is a no frills type of place, but it is advertised as "maintaining the highest standard in the cleanliness of our salon." This just isn't the case and is misleading. I'd happily support your business if the premises were cleaned and I was confident that I would receive a standard foot/leg massage when purchasing a Deluxe Pedicure. If you're implying that these can't be expectations at "Average" shops, than I'm sad to hear this. It's great to learn that sanitized tools are used as there is no way of telling at the time. It was easy, pretty basic (no massage), and it still looked as though they spent hours on my hands. The prices are wonderful and such a great deal for gel! The staff was incredibly nice to my kids. They worked patiently with my girls in getting the perfect nail colors and even allowed them to do multiple colors on their fingers. I love this place! I rarely get manicures and pedicures but I felt like treating myself recently. Last month I came in and fell in love with this place and everyone who works here so much so I've decided to come here every month for a mani. I've never wanted to before but this place changed my mind. I got the gel mani and regular pedicure and the outcome was great. After my first manicure my nails felt stronger than they have been and they looked so cute in the green cat eye gel. I went back the next month and got it again in a different color and still love it. The staff constantly check in to see if you're comfortable, if you approve of the nail shape before painting, and if the polish is fine. So considerate.
