Part One: This is the service that performed the mold…read moreremediation (to the AC unit area part) on the property we purchased before the close of escrow. They did the work prior to us moving into our property. I don't know what their given time frame (there was miscommunication between the sellers and the listing agent) was but we had a 30 day close (Feb/March). We received detailed reports, including pictures, after the work was done. Seemed like a professional, competent company. We received a detailed report. Part Two: Our upstairs neighbor's unit caused damage to our master bathroom. This was in March (after we moved in). Apparently, it was the same technician who worked on our unit, prior to closing. There were a few snags along the way. Some testing had to be done. Some waiting. Some delays. There was mold treatment. But after everything was said and done (on our neighbor's dime- this was caused by his negligence), the work was completed in May. In the meantime, we were down to one bathroom, which was inconvenient, but we were glad to find that their work was done right and completed. It was a fiasco (what we went through), but so glad that we used them as they were very thorough.

Although the company is licensed, the workmanship was poor. The drywall seams were not properly finished. The tape was clearly visible, and there was little to no texture applied. To make matters worse, they painted over the visible tape without correcting the issue. The door installations were also done incorrectly. Some doors had noticeable gaps at the top, while others had gaps at the bottom. When I brought these issues to their attention, they were never properly addressed. Instead, the focus was on moving forward with the kitchen remodel, which I no longer felt comfortable doing due to the quality of work. As a result, I decided to stop working with them.

We were left unsure of what work was being done, what to expect next, and received little guidance throughout the process. Most concerning was that an individual who is not directly employed by the company was sent to our home to perform work, especially concerning given that we had given this company permission to enter the property while we were at were but then they sent an "independent contractor". This alone was unsettling. During that visit, he entered our master bedroom multiple times with no explanation or reason, and when questions were asked, he avoided answering by repeatedly walking away downstairs. This behavior felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. After remediation work yesterday, our home was left with an overwhelming bleach/chemical odor, and no recommendations or safety guidance were provided regarding ventilation, air quality, or whether it was safe to remain in the home, especially concerning given that mold remediation was involved. This has been an incredibly scary situation for our family. Recently learning there is mold in our home, and having a 6-year-old child. In a situation like this, transparency, clear communication, and simply being treated like human beings would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, that was lacking throughout this process. Overall, the lack of transparency, poor communication, and concerning conduct have left us feeling uneasy and dissatisfied. This is not the level of professionalism or care we expected when trusting a company with our home and family's safety.
