Property Pros was hired by my property management company. My initial issue with them was that their prices were astronomical. They quoted $2,000 for work I had done by someone else for $200. They quoted $60 to pick up $4 worth of items from Home Depot and drop them off at the house. I picked and chose and they did okay with some of the items I had them do. They also gave estimates on other things for literally 10x what I paid other professionals to fix them. Later, there was a plumbing problem and they quoted what I considered to be a somewhat reasonable price to clean up the leak, dry or replace some affected carpet, and replace some affected drywall. I was shocked later when I found out they had only cut away the drywall and carpet and left behind open holes and bare concrete. read more

The little young kid Robert that came out insisted that they needed to charge me by the hour for the work I needed done. So he leaves an older guy to do the work. After a couple hours it was evident he was trying to take as much time as possible and run my bill up so I started recording him. After 45 minutes of watching him as I recorded I was furious. That's how long it took him to tape of an interior doorframe. I don't mean tape off and paint I mean put three pieces of tape on it. He would put the tape on then take it off. Over and over and over. I was about to have a major meltdown on him and did my best to hold my temper and not explode. I asked him how long it was going to take him to paint the 3 door frames and he said oh this is going to take me all day!!! I said oh hell no it's not!!! I said if you think I'm going to pay you $60 an hour to paint 3 door frames and you take all day you're crazy. He hit here first thing in the morning. I guess he didn't like that he went outside and called Robert and here he came. I was expecting someone and he surprised me when I opened the door but I'm glad he came I was about to throw the older guy out. He knocked off a little bit but it was still a total joke. He seemed to really kiss the older guys butt he said call me if you have any problems buddy when he left. What's funny is the older guy tried to get me to let him paint the outside of my house earlier in the morning before I caught on to what he was doing. He said he could do it for $600 but I'd have to keep it to myself that they made him sign a form saying that he wouldn't steal their customers. The outside of my house doesn't need painting so being a nice passive easygoing guy I listened and laughed it off never giving him an answer. He's probably doing that to every customer he meets they should test him then see how big of a buddy he is. I might post the video online just so people see how they are. Robert also went back and talked negative about me to the company that referred him. I've worked for myself since the 80's and it's always these guys that go and get a little contractors license that try to screw someone every chance they get. I'm not writing this out of anger this was back in 2019 I just think it's funny and pathetic at the same time and people should know. One of my neighbors mentioned the name that's what put me in mind of it and why I'm posting this review so late. There's so many people that do this type of work my advice would be to find someone else and save some money. He asked if I wanted to get beat in a game of pool real quick. The only way I'd play him a game of pool is if he bet me his entire life savings and his contractors license before I beat the hell out of him and put him out of business. I asked why he was trying to overcharge me for such a simple job and he said they have a lot of overhead at his company. Welcome to the business world. LOL!!! read more
