Unfortunately, our experience with this restoration company has been extremely disappointing. From the beginning, there was a lack of clear direction, communication, and follow-up. We were left unsure of what work was being done, what to expect next, and received little guidance throughout the process. Most concerning was that an individual who is not directly employed by the company was sent to our home to perform work, especially concerning given that we had given this company permission to enter the property while we were at were but then they sent an "independent contractor". This alone was unsettling. During that visit, he entered our master bedroom multiple times with no explanation or reason, and when questions were asked, he avoided answering by repeatedly walking away downstairs. This behavior felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. After remediation work yesterday, our home was left with an overwhelming bleach/chemical odor, and no recommendations or safety guidance were provided regarding ventilation, air quality, or whether it was safe to remain in the home, especially concerning given that mold remediation was involved. This has been an incredibly scary situation for our family. Recently learning there is mold in our home, and having a 6-year-old child. In a situation like this, transparency, clear communication, and simply being treated like human beings would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, that was lacking throughout this process. Overall, the lack of transparency, poor communication, and concerning conduct have left us feeling uneasy and dissatisfied. Recently my condo suffered water damage when my upstairs neighbor's tub overflowed. Ultimate Choice responded with in an hour and started the process of removing the water and drying out both units. They were also responsible for doing the restoration work on my condo. The two technicians Juan and Joe were both professional and friendly to deal with. Beware!!!!!!!! Their employees do work on the side and mislead you to believe the work is being completed by the company by showing you letter headed surveys and came to your home several times in a company van.. Has you sign a contract, demos your bathroom, takes your money ($5000!!!) and disappears for two months and then has his wife give you sad story why the work can't be completed by him. He then refers your job to their "owner" who you are told is aware of his incarceration and will take care of your job for a similar price. The "owner" comes takes measurements and also goes MIA and has such a busy schedule he can't return your call or acknowledge the shit show his employee created. After several calls for your new quote the office lady informs you, your basically no priority and the owner never did anything with your measurements and then drops a bomb that they aren't really responsible for their employee and advises me that our job was taken by their employee as a "side job"!????? Why would the "owner" get involved if it wasn't attached to his business to begin with!???? After expressing frustration to the point of tears, she makes you feel like maybe there is an ounce of hope and they are going to accommodate the mishap of their employee by sending some random new estimator who will redo what the "owner " did to make sure I get something more timely. This brand new employee comes out and quotes you triple the original quoted price!? I just don't understand how a company can operate with such unethical practices going on and treat a paying customer so poorly. How was I supposed to know what is going on in your business? And why are your employees so shady? So about that $5000? To date no one has offered me any solutions and I have had not had a master bathroom for 2 months!? I do not want to conduct business with any parties involved. I have asked to be refunded and not getting any communication. Again please beware so you don't get the run around and unprofessionalism I experienced. Ultimate Choice Restoration will make a bad situation so much worse Short review (after seeing the good reviews on yelp and Google, we contacted Ultimate Choice Restoration, and this was our experience) The whole time we were dealing with Ultimate Choice Restoration, we had a feeling we were being ripped off, AND YES WE WERE. That's not the worst part. Now everyone in our house, my aunt, my mother-in-law, my wife, our roommate, our KIDS, and myself, are now showing signs of mold related symptoms, Which are nosebleeds, headaches, difficulty breathing, tightness in the chest, throat irritation, coughing etc. Ultimate Choice employees had a fan blowing directly on a wet pile of of wood, with what "appeared to be mold "(can't legally call it mold, because I didn't have it tested before they got rid of it) with all the windows and doors closed with the A/C running. The smell was so awful, the employees were wearing masks. We decided we had to leave and get a hotel room. They never even said anything about the dangers for our kids!!!! It got so much worse I even put a camera down stairs in front of them. (I set up the cameraYou right in front of them and I told them it was to see the progress) Even if they knew the camera was there, all they did was watch the soccer game (the employees were the one that turned on the TV and put it on the soccer channel!). Seriously they're watching TV most of the time, right in front of the camera. that's how much they didn't care. They actually would wait for the commercials, to start working again, but they didn't even work they just talked, I have it on video, It's ridiculous!!! And there are cameras all around my house. They're various days where they didn't show up! I have videos, pictures, text, email, estimates and the invoice, that show what a horrible Company Ultimate Choice Restoration really is!!! We had a toilet leak on the second floor and we had ultimate out as the second quote. They showed what didn't need to be done which saved a lot of money. So happy with our experience with this company! We had a ton of water damage below and around our water heater that needed to be fix. They truly went above and beyond! They worked efficiently and effectively and made the area look like we just moved in. They even went out of their way to match the paint in our garage after they repaired the area. From no regular work hours to inconsistency of quality of workers, my simple shower repair stretched to 8 days as workers were constantly being moved from job to job. Lack of communication between workers and office was evident. Waiting daily to see when someone would show up is a lack of respect for client. Final cost appeared inflated. Our overall experience with Ultimate Choice Restoration.. From the beginning Ultimate Choice Restoration never showed any consideration for our children safety. They left sharp pieces of wood exposed and a pile of wood "appeared to be mold on it" with absolutely nothing to keep our children from it while they took off. And if the wood was supposed to be disposed of, WHY WERE THEY DRYING IT?! Maybe resell!! Their cabinet braces are ridiculous!! And not safe for children!! They left out exposed electric sockets and carpet nails!! And after all this the owner of the company (Steve) never asked once how are children we're doing (Never)!! after seeing are kids (1 and 3 year old) get 5 tubes of blood taken out, it would have been nice for someone from this company to ask how are kids we're doing!!!!!!! Now to Ultimate Choice Restorations invoice and estimate First the invoice for the dry down, here were all the discrepancies. 16. refrigerator removal and reset ($37.01) 17. Range-gas-removal and reset (131.43) 23. Emergency service call "during business hours " ($177.58!!!!!!) WOW!!!! We called on Monday and they showed up Tuesday!!! 30. Dryer remove and reset ($27.76) 33. Washer machine removal and reset ($30.83) 34. Tear out countertops ($43.15) 35. Tear out cabinetry-vanity (36.08) 45. Water extraction and Remediaton technician (g$720) None of the above, was ever done except for 17. but was never reset. And 23. is just crazy!! And to me it looks like they charge for 52 air movers (it was 800 ft.²) Now for the Restoration part Our insurance granted us $11,548.73 for the wood flooring, but that was never told to us since Brandan was the one dealing with the insurance for us since we thought we could trust him and we're working overtime (12-16 hour day 7 day a week) When I finally had time to look for tile, I text Brendan to see what our budget should be. He text me approximately 800 ft.² and $1.68 ish for the tile!! now according to Home Advisor and Google the average cost for installation of tile is $3.00 now add that all up and you get $3,744 for a difference of $7,804!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and that's just the flooring. As soon as you realize what was going on we immediately contacted a Public Adjuster who recommended us a honest Restoration Co and for us to get rid of Ultimate Choice Restoration!!!!! Which we did!!! Ultimate choice restoration would've caused us to go completely in debt and we would've had to take out loans!! For something at the very end of all this should only have cost us $700!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For the re-piping. read more

These guys are absolutely incredible, from the owner, the receptionist, to the employees working in our home. I cannot express how appreciative I am for these guys helping me restore my home to its original state. I took the entire summer and spent it in the Pacific Northwest in Washington State. When I left my home I pulled the sink stopper so that the PTraps would not dry up causing my bathroom to stink when I returned to Vegas. 2 months into the summer, one of my roommates called me to tell me that my bathroom had flooded because of a dripping faucet, it caused a great deal of damage and insurance was unable to cover it because it was not a sudden leak. All my cabinets were destroyed, my carpet had mold underneath and the water seeped into the living room downstairs. It was an incredibly stressful situation because I was in Washington working and unable to assist with the situation, the people at Ultimate Choice worked with my roommate Mike and got everything resolved. When I returned home they had a few finishing touches to do but everything was brand new like nothing had happened. I was so relieved. A couple days later after they made all the repairs, we were moving some whiteboards from the walls because they had warped from the water. Upon removal, we found a ton of mold that had been growing behind the whiteboards and were super shocked to see that it was missed. I called Ultimate Choice the next day and explained to them what had happened and they told me that they would come out and fix the damage at no additional cost! I was so appreciative because I already had to pay the damages out of pocket and the idea of adding more to the bill stressed me out very much. They sent out a technician the next day and the repair process had begun again. I just wanted to express my gratitude one more time as they have been such an incredible company to work with. They turned a terrible stressful situation, into a manageable, worry-free repair process. They really helped me every step of the way. I'm a tenant in the home that this company is currently working at. I asked at the beginning to make sure they will have masks & gloves on while they are here in my home. My husband is 70 yrs old, with high blood pressure, COPD, and a weak immune system. I have seen several times where they are not wearing masks I asked them to put masks on and by the next day or maybe even the same day the mask is not on again. Something probably has happened to this company. Our recommendation - AVOID DOING BUSINESS with this company!! And, if you do, DO NOT PAY any money until the work is completed and verified to your satisfaction! We live in Massachusetts and have currently paid in excess of $2500 for materials and installation work that has not been completed in our condo located in Henderson, NV......shame on us for being so trusting. Folks, research and evaluate this company on your own. If you decide to do business with this company, protect yourself. There are several workers on the staff that do quality work that we found to be wonderful individuals who need jobs. You would want Sammie, Geronimo, Sergio and his son to work on your project. JUST DO NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING UP FRONT! Problem is you do not want to do business with Mr. Steve Feris, Principal in the company. And, as good as he has been, we can no longer rely on the Project Manager, Brendan T. As a result, we have decided to terminate the business relationship because we no longer have confidence in company's ability to complete our project. And, we do not respect the management team. We have been asking for copies of the actual material orders [considered special order items] for weeks. On September 23rd via text and email we again asked for (a) copies of the special orders; and, (b) confirmation that installation could be completed by 10.25.17. Since then all communication from the management team to us has stopped. We have airline tickets to fly to Henderson on 10.22.17. We wanted copies of the special orders to make sure everything ordered was to our specs so there would be no surprises when we arrived. Gut tells us Ultimate Choice Restoration's business is declining. They probably can not produce copies of the special order item orders because they were probably not ordered. The ordered items include Kohler Choreography walk-in shower panels and shower pan; new shower fixtures; glass for the walk-in shower and a new patio door. We were told the walk-in shower panels were ordered and would be in on 10.14.17; and, the patio door was ordered. We do not believe any of this now. If the materials had been ordered, it would be a reasonable expectation that copies of the orders would be readily available and there would be no problem sending them to us. Would you agree? Things were fine up until September 6th, 2017 when we flew home to Massachusetts. Communications were OK with Brendan T.; and, work was getting done but we constantly had to ask about the project. Project planning was definitely not perfect. Since then all communications with Brendan T. went dark as did communications with Steve Feris, Principal of the company. We firmly believe the special order items needed to complete our project were not ordered and they used our money for payroll or some other expenses. Mr. Feris will make an excuse the Brendan T. had a health issue. True but why have we not heard from him since he was confirmed to be back at work on 9.25.17. From a Better Business Bureau posting to a customer complaint the company response was "Any issue that the ************'s had could have been resolved with communication". Well folks, there is NO COMMUNICATION! We have been emailing, texting, calling and leaving voice messages every day since September 22nd with absolutely no response to our requests or confirmation that the installation can start on 10.23.17 and be completed by 10.25.17. As previously, mentioned, we are looking for another company to complete the project. I was able to reach Mr. Feris via phone presumably because I blocked my number using *67 about 8:30 PM, his time, on Thursday, 9.28.17. When I start talking he tells me "he's had a tough week". When I mention we have over paid he says "this is not a tit for tat situation" and then he tells me he has had thousands of dollars out of pocket before receiving what he has ordered. Not exactly what I was interested in hearing as a customer who is not getting answers. Then he tells me he will look at my file on Friday, 9.29.17 and call me. Well folks, we are still waiting for the call. He was 'yessing me' to get me off the phone. Mr. Feris is certainly not providing us with a great customer experience. This is the customer service experience you can have if you do business with Mr. Feris and Ultimate Choice Restoration. Well....that's all folks. His price was fair and I am very happy with their response in every way. Hector did an amazing job and you can't even see where the dry wall was cut in. The knockdown matched perfectly and he was very pleasant and polite while working very hard. The job was completed in 2 days as expected. I had them come out for an estimate to remodel two bathrooms. Brendan came out spent about 10 minutes with me. Never took measurements or showed previous or current projects or samples of their products. He said he would email an estimate which I never received and that was over 3 weeks ago. The issue began in April. Ultimate choice restoration came out to give us an estimate. We realized we were going to have to make this expense out of pocket because the insurance/ home warranty would not cover caulking. They came out and began the restoration process which took about a week. Once the restoration was completed, roughly 2 weeks later we noticed the caulking coming apart on the floor of the shower. We called Ultimate choice restorations again and asked for them to come out and analyze the issue. It took the company about 2-3 business days to come to our home for the assessment of the damage. They began repairs again 2 business days later they came back to repair the caulking. We were told to wait 24 hours to use the shower and we waited 48 hours. Thursday the 14 of July we called again because the shower's caulk had once again separated. We were told that we would get a call back the same day to schedule a technician to come take a look. No one ever called us. We called back the next day, and were told we were going to get called back and were transferred to accounting due to an "overdue payment". The accounting department said that they were going to do research on the payment information and get back to us. Once again no one from Ultimate choice restorations called us to schedule the technician or update us on the supposedly missing payment. Tuesday the 19th of July we called again to check on both status's and were told that ultimate choice wanted us to send them the statement information for the double payment that was made and that we would get a call from a technician. We sent them the bank statement that was requested and we still didn't hear anything from them. We called twice on July 20th , and were asked if we e-mailed the bank statement and was put on hold while they called accounting to verify that we had in fact e-mailed the information to the company. This leads me to believe that there is no communication within the company. I was then told they had received the e-mail and that they were going to do some research and call us back. I responded with "I am still waiting for a technician to fix my bathroom" and was told they would call me again. I called again later on today (July 20th) and asked to speak with a manager. I told the manager whose name I believe is Francisco that this is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. We are extremely displeased with the amount of run arounds and disloyalty to their customers. I was promised a technician at 0800 the 21st of July. I ask why has it been necessary to fix this issue a third time? Why no one has called us back? Why hasn't accounting kept track of our payments to include a double charge on one occasion? read more

These guys cause more damage then they do repairs. The Repairs are sub standard. They damaged many family heirlooms while at the home.

This company was so unprofessional and unethical. I would never use them again and I would caution you before using them! They seemed so nice initially but saying thet they were very pushy - as I have 3 toddlers and a single Mom I was stressing about my water damage I did what they recommended. They told me they would "cover my deductible" in essence they wanted to give me very low grade replacement flooring.I went over the bill many times with them and once I realised what they were doing I challenged them and this is where things changed! Phonecalls and emails went unreturned. I was told to have a demoloshing party and get all my friends over to remove the tiles myself (3 toddlers / single mother - sure!). In other words they wanted to remove this cost so they could "give" me a slightly higher grade carpet and still make some nice money. I ended up only doing the drying and restoration with them and went with Las Vegas Flooring in the end who I was thrileld with - and Las Vegas Flooring was the company my insurance company USAA (military) recommended.
