Came here and got a haircut, she charges $32. That's above typically what I pay even down in Roseville/Sac. No neck shave or anything extra. She took less than five minutes altogether. Also wasn't friendly, just said "ready?" when I walked in. Haircut is fine but not a good value. Charged my card 50 cents more than I told her to. Won't be back. read more

I didn't have an appointment but needed a cut bad as I had been doing what I could to maintain my hair during shelter in place. Looked this place up and was able to walk in over the holiday weekend and be seen right away. Parking was easy, the shop is clean and I was greeted when I arrived. The cut was quick and efficient. I wouldn't say I asked for anything complicated and I got what I was expecting. I paid with a credit card. Overall I was happy with my cut and would come here again. read more

This woman was on TV asking for people to come in because she needed to support her family. She needs to learn some customer service. Extremely rude on the phone. We called and asked to make an appointment even though it says she takes walk ins, we wanted to be polite. All she said was call back at 8 I'm booked. You want to be supportive of small businesses in this time, but not if they treat people like this. Find someone who will be more appreciative. Learn some manners!!! read more

Wow. So I went in a few weeks ago and the place had no customers just two ladies who are on the clock. They were talking when I walked in and they literally stopped talking, looked at me and didn't say anything... After the brief awkward silence one of them let out a mild sigh and then said to the other "do you want this one, or should I?" as if it was some kind of chore to do her job. The lady who cut my hair asked what I wanted then started going and didn't speak another word to me. When she finished, she didn't ask if it was okay, or if I wanted to go shorter, ect. Just walked over to the register and said "whenever you're ready.." She then had the nerve to ask how much I wanted to run my card for, as if I was going to actually tip. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Considering the service, the pricing is absolutely absurd. $14 for a very short and typical hair cut, you're also prompted to tip. So really, do yourself a favor and save money by going to one of the other many barber shops in town. read more

My son has had 2 haircuts there by 2 different ladies. The first cut was ok, she couldn't exactly follow what I wanted but the cut was ok. The second go round was pretty awful. I even stopped her mid cut to re explain what I wanted and she continued to butcher my sons hair. Regretful for going there before his Christmas pictures. Will not be returning. read more

I absolutely LOVE Breann, she is a wonderful stylist. She cuts my husband's hair and my son's hair. We actually followed her over from another shop she was working at. She always gets my husband's hair cut just right, and that really does matter as he is in the Army. And she is so patient with my 6 year old son who can (like any small kid) can get a little antsy. And my son really enjoys the play she has set up room if there is ever a wait, which is rare. read more

My boys and i always go to Clip Cage to get great haircuts from Wendy. She's worth the wait if you go in and she's busy. She takes her time to ensure every haircut she gives is exactly what you want. It is a large open spaced barber shop which adds to the welcoming feeling you get when you walk in or are waiting. read more

I was in the area and needed a haircut. I live in Roseville but am often in Auburn. I saw they had good reviews so I stopped in about 10:30 am and only Megan was there with no customers. It was pleasant to be able to sit right down. With both of us having kids we had plenty to talk about. Megan did a quick but HIGH QUALITY fade. I was impressed. I would definitely go back and see her. An added plus, no questionable patrons or shenanigans take place here in case you are wondering if it's kid friendly. read more

Wanted to find a good place to get my sons' haircut. Heard this shop was pretty good. Stopped in after school. There was one person cutting hair, and 1 customer waiting. The stylist didn't say "hello" to us or explain that she was the only person working and that it may be a wait...we left after sitting for 15 min with no acknowledgement from the stylist. Sometimes showing a little customer service towards someone goes a long way....but since this stylist didn't seem to care, we took our business elsewhere. read more

If you go in here ask for Wendy! Each time she cuts my hair she takes the time to make sure that she knows what I want and that I am happy with the way things turned out at the end. I typically get a fade which is almost bald at the bottom and requires the stylist to go over it quite a bit to make sure there aren't any rouge hairs jumping out that are missed. Wendy takes the time to make sure I'm happy when I get my hair cut there and she is truly an expert at her craft! read more

Beautiful shop! I absolutely love this barbershop its amazing. Iv been going to this barbershop for years! Every cut iv had has been very satisfying. I rare thus barbershop a 5 if more i would. There service is wonderful and the ladies who work there are very nice. I live the clip cage! They take credit cards! And have lots of space inside.
